When she opened her eyes, it was dawn. She got out of her bed, and went towards her balcony. The view from her balcony was breath taking. It was faced towards the city which started from the boundary wall of the resort. The city was fairly modern, but in some area one could see the ancient buildings popping up. The area inside the boundary wall, was a beautiful garden which had various different kinds of trees. Kajal was excited for the tour. While she was looking at the garden, she felt as if someone was looking at her through the trees. But she couldn't make out where the thing or person was standing and who or what was it. Suddenly she saw a shadow move among the trees. Before she could shout or call the guards, the shadow vanished in thin air. This got her confused. She decided to ask Vindhu about this later. She went to the bathroom and freshened up. She wore a red shirt with blue jean. She put cream and red lipstick, and tied her long black hair into pony. Since there was still time for breakfast and tour, she thought of checking the entire room to find the source which led people to believe that something was watching them. She checked under the bed, behind the mirror, in the balcony, in the bathroom and under the suitcase rack, but found nothing. She sat down on her bed dejected. She felt as if as she was being crushed by the weight of responsibility which uncle Vindhu had given. Suddenly, she felt the same feeling as the guest in that room had felt. She was being watched by someone or something. She looked behind and saw no one was there. But there something was out of the place. There was cupboard which looked fairly modern with black sleak wood, while the room was designed to look ancient. She went near the cupboard and opened it's door. There was nothing in it, except a box which was made out of golad and silver with emralds fitted on it. She opened and saw there was a pair of six faced and long dice, which was made out of gold and had diamonds encrusted in it. She kept it backin the box and shut it. Suddenly her eyes fell on the legs of the cupboard. She saw it had recently been shifted. So she quickly threw box on bed and started to push the cupboard towards the left. Finally after lot of heaving and shoving she was able to push the box fully aside. Then she saw that a locker made inside the wall. It did not have a number pad, instead it had star with round knob made on it. She saw that there was a design made behind the star. She turned the star towards the right, and saw that the star fitted in the design. Then she heard a click and the door of the locker automatically opened. Inside the locker, there was a lotus-shaped hair dress with five different types of jewels engraved on it and a broken wooden bansuri. She took these two things out and then sat on the bed. By now, the sun had risen already and It was 7 o'clock in the morning. She kept the bansuri and the hair dress aside and opened the box again. She saw those dices again. A voice in her mind was telling "Shakuni ke Pase". She closed the box and took the hair dress in her hand. Again the voice was telling, "Draupadi ka Choodamani". She kept the hairdress aside and took the broken bansuri. It was snaped in to half but it still looked beautiful. The voice was sweetly tellingin her head,"Krishna". Then someone rung the bell. She kept the bansuri aside. She opened the door and saw that it was Kakaji.

Vindhu – You are already ready for the tour. When did you wake up ?

Kajal – It was dawn when I woke up. Kakaji, I want to show you something.

She took Vindhu towards the bed and showed the items she had found. Vindhu saw the hair dress and bansuri. Then picked up the box. He saw it's contents which surprised him.

Vindhu – Where did you find all this?

Kajal – (pointing towards the shifted cupboard and the locker)Near that cupboard which had a locker hidden behind it.

Vindhu – Bravo Kajal! I guess you found out the source of the trouble. The content inside this box is really fragile and perhaps might be haunted.

Kajal – How is that possible, Kakaji?

Vindhu - It is a long story. I will tell when I get some time.

Kajal – Kakaji, I Want to tell you something.

Vindhu – Go on.

Kajal – When I woke up at dawn and stood in the balcony, I felt something or someone watching me from the garden which is just under my balcony.

VIndhu – I will look into this matter. As of now don't tell anything about this and the work I have asked you to do to anyone, especially Chandra.

Kajal – ok Kakaji, but why not dad?

Vindhu – Because he is bad at keeping secrets. He will tell them to anyone at any point of time.

Kajal – Ok Kakaji, I won't tell anyone anything.

Vindhu – Right now think about the tour, you are going to go on. And The other guests are going to arrive at 4 o'clock in the evening. If you want, you can come with me and bring your sisters too.

Kajal – Sure Kakaji, I will tell them about this.

Vindhu – The breakfast has been severed, go to the dining hall, which is on the first floor, across the swimming pool.

Kajal – ok. Kakaji, is that cupboard in this room for a long time or has it just been placed.

Vindhu – It has just been placed. It was given to me as gift from Yudh Desai.

Kajal – oh ok, he is the owner of Kuru company, right?

Vindhu – Yes, and he also owns Hotel Hastin, which I will show in the tour.

They left room after taking all the items that has recently been discovered and locking the room. Kajal went towards the dining hall while Vindhu went towards the army camp.

The Dining hall looked as if it was straight out of Hogwarts dining hall. But instead flying candles and direct view of the sky above, It had a roof from which chandelier was hanging on the side walls, there torches. In the middle column, were her sisters and Vivek sitting. The other two columns were empty. Infront of the rows was stage n which three chairs were kept at equal height in row against the rectangle table. Each chair was painted in different color. The colors were black, blue and white. On black chair, Chandra was sitting.

Kajal joined her sisters. She saw that breakfast had been served. There were variety dishes such Dosa, bread and butter, jam and some unknown dishes.

Kajal – Hey guys, you have already started breakfast without me. And I see you have met Vivek Payan, the librarian.

Vivek – Hi, Kajal! By the way your books are almost ready.

Kajal – Thanks for informing.

Jaya – Which books?

Kajal – Just some random books that I got interested in.

Vaishali – We didn't start yet. We were waiting for you.

Devasena – Now, Let's start the breakfast, since Kaju didi has arrived. I am really hungry.

Kajal – Before we start eating breakfast, I have an offer to make. At exactly 4:00 pm in the evening, our business partners are arriving. So do you guys want to go with me receive them?

Karuna and Vaishali – yeah sure we would love to go.

Devi – Yes, count me in.

Kajal – (Looking at the twins) How about you guys?

Twins – Since everyone we will also join.

Kajal (Looking towards Vivek) Do you also wanna join us?

Vivek – No, I can't join you guys as I have some work to do.

Kajal -ok, (Looking towards her sisters) SO guys, let's finish our breakfast quickly as Kakaji will come any time soon.

They quickly ate their breakfast. Vivek went back to the library to finish his work. Then they started chit chatting about the palace and their rooms. Then each of them started showing he pictures they had clicked of their rooms. All of their rooms were designed as if it was for a queen, But the magnificence and opulence decreased with each of the color. But they were still fit for a queen.

Devi – Where is the pic of your room Kaju didi?

Kajal – I did not click it yet, but after the tour you all can come to my room, it's my open offer.

Sisters – sure, we will come over.

Vindhu – Are you all done chit chatting? Then let's go, everything is arranged.

Sisters – Sure let's go.

Their Limousie was standing ready in front of the main door. All of them got in the car, and then they towards the city. The city was fairly modern with futuristic design and roads made out of graphite which was polished as if they were made out of precious stones. The city was being decorate as if bride was getting ready for marriage.

Kajal – Why is the city being decorated like this?

Vindhu – There going to be festival dedicated to Pashupath or in other words, for Mahadev.

Kajal – ok

There was a voice telling the words Lakshagriha and Varnavat in her mind. They saw the beautiful gardens and parks. Then they went to the city's main museum, Sushan Museum. It contained artefacts from various time periods. After going around the museum, they sat inside the car.

Vindhu – Do you guys want to go back to hotel? We can come again later to visit other places.

Vaishali – Yeah let's go, I want to get ready to receive our business partners.

Devi, Karuna and the twins – Yeah, let's go back.

Kajal – Kakaji, is there any place called Varnavat or Lakshagriha over here?

Vindhu – Yes there is a place called Varnavat, which is a forest and inside that there is palace called Lakshagriha or more precily Lakshmi palce. Do you want to go there?

Kajal – Yes, I want to go there.

Sisters – we want to go back to hotel.

Kajal – then let's leave these bored people at hotel and then let's go to the forest.

Vindhu – Sure, as you wish, but we will change the car.

Kajal – ok

The group went back to the resort. After leaving the sisters at the Swarna haveli gate, Vindhu took Kajal to the car parking. It had automated gate with cars parked in different sectors each had a car elevator, with cars such as SUVs, vernova etc. After parking the limousine, Vindhu got out a red SUV and indicated Kajal to sit in the front passenger seat. After they had settled in, Vindhu started to drive the car out of the parking into the main street. After crossing the street, took a road which looked like a highway towards a forest.

Kajal – Does this city have any administration like a Mayor, and municipal corporation?

Vindhu – Actually this city was founded by Yudh Desai and his brothers. So they are the de facto administrators of this place.

Kajal – Kakaji, You told me that you will show me Hotel Hastin also right?

Vindhu – That is the reason why I left your sisters back at the resort. Hotel Hastin is near the other side of the forest. It is the first thing one comes across while travelling to Indraprath.

Kajal – The side of the forest contains another city, Indraprath! I did not know about that. In the map, it showed only Hastinapur. There was no other city or town in such close vicinity of Hastinapur.

Vindhu – I guess some people don't want the world to know about Indraprath.

Kajal – But why!?

Vindhu – a long story.

Kajal – When will you tell me the story?

Vindhu – we reached Lakshmi palace and Varnavat.
