("Your here" I whispered as his arms wrapped around me. "of course" "But I Thought" "dont!" he whispered pulling my shaking body close. "Its true?" I questioned "Its all true" I whispered when suddenly his back arched and a silver arrow tore through his chest.) Sitting up gasping I gripped the chain around my neck.  Calm down Emma its been two years your fine, My brain mumbled  as I laid back down. Seventeen, Seventeen and your still here not ready to leave, not ready to start your life. Looking at the clock I sighed two minutes till everyone was awake and our day started.  Pulling myself out of bed I slugged my way to my dresser and shimmied my way into my favorite pair of blue jeans. Stepping into the hallway I felt 50 pounds of six year-old tackle me, Wrapping my arms around my sister I smiled "Why are you still in your pj's? You know were visiting a couple today" pushing her toward her room I smiled "Visiting room  two"  I shouted as she ran. Turning down two short hallways I pushed open the door to the interview room and smiled at the couple. A guy with light eyes and brown hair sat next to a women with blonde hair and blue eyes, "Nice to see you again" grace said. "Look your great people but lets cut this short, take allure and never come back, I'm already a lost cause, She's never been scared, Just love her ok?" They both stared at me shock written on their faces "Emma!" Allure yelled running into to the room smiling.  "Hi!' she giggled bouncing in her seat. "So allure do you like dogs?" Sam asked and she nodded "Yes I love wolfs big and cuddly' "How about being outside?" he asked "I love it !" she giggled. Chewing on her lip she stared at Sam and Grace  "Are you going to adopt us?" she smiled shyly "Yes were adopting the both of you" he replied smiling back at her. "Plural?" I asked and grace nodded "Yes Plural." 

Skip a few hours

"Welcome home" Grace smiled as we pulled up to a large cabin type house in the middle of a clearing.  "Why are we so far in the woods?' I asked standing in the front yard. "Our pets as well as our boys" Sam replied lifting my suitcase out of the trunk. "Kids? then why'd you want us?"  I asked. "Their not our kids just kids that drift here from the neighbor hood about seven boys and two girls" grace replied opening the front door. "Your bedroom is down stairs next to pauls and allures is upstairs next to our ours the bathroom on the other side, Dinner should be done in a few hours settle in and Ill let you know when its ready" closing the door behind her she left me alone.  packing my stuff into the two black dressers I entered the bathroom attached to my room. Griping the edge of the counter I stared at myself in the mirror first at my reflection then my eyes found my wrist. Searching the medicine  cabinet I pulled a few band aids out and placed them neatly on my wrist over my scars. Slipping into a long sleeve shirt I made my way upstairs.  

"Hes purple not red silly!' allure giggled sitting at the table. "Hi sissy" she smiled without looking up. The boys head snapped up and he smiled his hazel eyes analyzing me up and down.  "Hi Emma I'm..." "Micheal" I whispered my getting caught in my chest. "What" he asked confused."Nothing, Never mind whats your name?"  I asked shaking of the fimilaraness. "Paul" he replied looking as confused as I felt.  "Cool" I replied rolling on to the balls of my feet.  "Hes real nice sissy even helped me color, See?" she smiled holding up the picture.  "No problem gum drop" he replied his eyes lifting to meet mine. suddenly the whole room froze and I felt dizzy, collapsing to my knees  I began to take deep breaths. "Sissy!' allure yelled noticing my distress. "Paul!" Sam growled from some unknown place "outside now!" 

"Emma?" Grace asked her hand touching my shoulder."I'm ok" I whispered softly. Crawling over allure laid her head against my arm. "I'm ok just a panic attack" I replied wrapping my arms around my sister. "Were ok" I smiled realizing we truly were.
