"Dinners ready!' Grace called out as kids filled the living room. "Are you ok?" Sam asked entering through the back door. "Yea I'm fine" I replied with a shrug "wheres Paul?"  "He went for a run" same smiled. "oh" Standing up I dusted my jeans and began picking up the miss of crayons allure left on the table. Putting them up in the closet I washed my hands in the bathroom. Looking up in the mirror I sighed, He looked so much like Micheal it was frighting. They both had the same cropped hair with matching hazel eyes  and killer pout in his bottom lip that could drive any girl crazy. His skin was that delicious olive color tanned by long amounts of time in the sun.  IT was surreal like someone had cloned him or something. A shiver passed down my spine, Not likely. "Sissy hurry up" Allure knocked on door, opening it I smiled at her. "Lets go then" taking my hand she dragged me down stairs into the kitchen where nine pairs of eyes turned to stare at me.  "Emma meet the team, Isabelle, Maria, Cole, Jason, Jacob, Tyler, and of course Paul" grace smiled gesturing to each person. They all smiled happily with soft hello's except Paul who kept his gaze down.  Awkwardly I took two plates  of food for my sister and I and found two spots on the floor in between the couches. "you know you can sit up here right?" Isabel asked sitting on one of the three couches. "Yes but I like it down here" Allure replied rudely. "shush and eat" I scolded then turned to Isabelle "sorry she doesn't like when people say stuff, Most people think its gross,  but it bothers her because when she was little she wouldn't sit in a high chair, so we eat on the floor ok?" I replied. Isabelle shrugged brushing it off, I sighed and turned back to allure when Paul sat down next to her.  I smiled "eat your food" I mumbled to allure who making a face in her mash potatoes. 

"Well that was an amazing dinner" I told grace as we washed the dishes. "thanks, and thanks for helping" "No problem" I replied with a smile. "so what do you do for fun?"  "Well mostly we hang out around the lake but we also have bonfires there's not much to do unless you want to go to the school play ground or the mall in the next town over." "Were having a bonfire tonight to celebrate you and allure" Smiling I hugged her "Sounds good, Ill be out in a sec" I replied as she went out side. 

Opening the door to my room I swapped my long sleeve shirt for my hoodie and exchanged my shoes for my combat boots, Making my was toward the back door I took a deep breath as I stepped out side, you can do this, dont mind the stares. "Sissy!!!!!!!Look what Paul gave me!!!" allure squealed covered in white goo. "what!!! how many did you eat!!!" I asked nervously "Don't worry their sugar free and no chocolate" Sam replied "And shes only eaten two" he smiled. "I wanted to save you some" She frowned "Don't worry there's plenty" Paul whispered before throwing her up in the air. She began laughing as he chased her around the yard. "HE likes kids?" I smiled as grace walked up to me. "hes pathetic, his way of trying to get close to you!" Isabel remarked. "Isabel!!!!" grace and Cole snapped. "Is it true?" I asked. Grace shrugged "I dont know but I doubt it I think she reminds him of his little sister"  she replied. "She lives cross country with his dad, he lives here with his mother." Smiling I watched as allure chased him around the yard, fake falling he let her tackle him and fake beat him up. "I win!" she squealed getting up and running toward me as Paul jumped up and scooped her into his arms"I win gum drop" he smiled carrying her over to me. "hey" "hey" I replied tickling allure. "Hey!!!!" she squealed "No fair!!" she squirmed in his arms. Setting her down she dashed from us toward Sam for protection. "Shes great" Paul smiled "Yea, I'm glad she adjusted this fast" "What about you?" he asked. "ill get there eventually" I replied nervously. "Can I ask you a question?" "sure" I replied. "Who's Micheal? You called me that and I was curious who he was" my shoulders relaxed and I smiled "he was a friend we lived with in till he died" "Oh how long ago was that?" he asked. "You dont have to tell me, You can always tell me to mind my own then flip your hair and walk away" he smiled his dimples showing. "cute" I smiled "It was about 3 years ago, we stayed with Micheal and his dad, he got sick and died exactly a year after my parents that was when we ended in that group home." I replied the story sliding out easy. I would never tell them the actually story they'd lock me up for sure. "Oh I'm sorry that sucks" shrugging I sighed "It's the past" I replied which was mostly true it just haunts me when I'm sleeping. "is this your first bonfire?" he asked "No we used to have them all the time before my parents died, this is allures first though" "Cool we have them regularly here"  he replied. "Eat yummies sissy" allure running over thrusted marshmallows into my lap. "Want a warm one? there better that way allure" Paul asked. She nodded happily and crawled right into his lap, Mouthing I'm sorry I shrugged and popped the mallow into my mouth. Blowing out the mallow Paul handed to Allure as she let out a yawn. "tired?" grace asked causing her to nod slowly. "Come on" I motioned to allure who dashed toward the house. 

Tucking Allure in I smiled and kissed her forehead, "I love you sissy" smiling I nodded "I love you to always my little bear" Reaching for the light she squealed stop. Sighing I shook my head "Not tonight" "yes" she mumbled stubbornly. Shaking my head I bit my lip "your def my sister" I muttered unzipping my hoodie. Placing my arms in her little hands I watched as she kissed my scars and mumbled stay strong. "Good night my little bear" I smiled turning the light off I expected to run into grace but instead Paul stood there.  "You weren't supposed to" I mumbled "Why does she do that?" he asked angrily. "She saw Micheal do it once and when he died she took over for him" I replied zipping up my hoodie. "letting out a growl, he brushed past me leaving me confused. and uncomfortable. Making my way down to my room I changed and crawled into my bed....Paul knew one of my secrets....Did that mean everyone else would to?
