3rd Person's POV

The day of the tounament had finally came the Pokemon Battling Institute have now three times the population as before, that is because the venue of the tournament is Pokemon Battling Instititute.

They have used the biggest arena of the school, making it looked like a real Pokemon League, this will be the 2nd tournament held in this school.

Cheers and noise roared throughout the arena, they were all excited for the unique matches being held here.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the Second Regional Tournament of Kalos, a tournament wherein all schools will be battling and aiming for the top!"

Cheers went on, it was too loud that it'll make your ears burst.

"For the rules of this tournament, each side will have six trainers battling together as one, each trainer will have two pokemons in their arsenal."

"If the trainer used up to of his or her pokemon, he or she is out of the battle and will rely on the remaining teammate."

"The team who will wipe out their opponent first will be the winner, furthermore, no substituting of pokemons, that's it for the rules, now we will proceed to the brackets! Everyone, eyes on the screen!"

There are four schools battling for the top, the first one is the Anistar Trainers Academy, next is the Lumiose Pokemon School, third one is the Snowbelle Pokemon Institute, and lastly, the main school of Kalos, Kalos Battling Institute.

The champion of the First Regional Tournament was Lumiose Pokemon School, and Kalos Battling Institute was on the third place.

"The first round will be..."

Then the shuffling stopped, Ash looked at the board and they saw their school battling the other one, Anistar Trainer's Academy.

"Kalos Battling Institute and Anistar Trainers Academy! The battle will start shortly, everyone from both sides, get yourselves ready!"

Ash and the others were calm, but the other three weren't, Ash saw them wearing those worried faces.

"Hey, it'll be okay." Ash reassured the other three.

"Yeah, but last year's tournament, we're in the third place, and I can't afford to lose this tournament, if we do, it'll ruin Ms. Diantha's reputation." Miette said in a saddened voice.

"You may think about that, but Diantha doesn't care about that." Leaf said proudly.

"Huh?" The three looked at her.

"Diantha instead will be happy about that, atleast you enjoyed the battle, she will not care about your flaws and fails." She stated.

For the past years, we occassionally visit the champions from regions to regions, Kalos is included, the time we're in Kalos, Diantha and Leaf are somewhat close to each other, as if they treated each other as sisters.

"Diantha, will enjoy watching us, I know it." She said with a smile.

That made the other three feel relieved, and did gain new confidence.

"Now then! From the other side! Let's welcome, Kalos Battling Institute!" The announcer yelled.

The six of them casually walked up into the wide battlefield and cheers roared as we went out from the tunnel. In front of them are another six opponents holding their pokeballs confidently.

"Now then, to introduce both sides, we have Serena, Miette, Calem, Ash, Koharu and Leaf, and on the other side, we have Sawyer, Hau, Shauna, Tierno, Trevor and Aria, trainers are you all ready?" The referee asked.

"Yes!" Both sides answered in unison.

"Well then, battle begin!"

"Hey Serena, leader of the team before, still leader of the team now?" Shauna asked Serena in a taunting manner, smirk's plastered on her face.

Serena kept silent, she looked at Ash and Ash nodded back.

"Y-Yes, and this time, we will not lose!" Serena declaired.

"Well then, good luck defeating us! Maybe the result is the same as before." Shauna smirked and they all laughed, as if the win is predicted and they'll achieve it.

"Venasaur, let's do this!"

"Blastoise, let's dance!"

"Charizard, you're on!

"Lycanroc, I'm counting on you!

"Gardevoir, please help us out.

"Aegislash, let's go!"

They all shouted in unison, out came most starter pokemons, they all cried their names out and did battle stance.

"I can say it's pretty balanced." Ash commented.

"Yeah..." Leaf said uninterested.

The other three sweatdropped at the two while Koharu was amused at them, as if she's used to it.

"Delphox, help us out!

"Chesnaught, roll on!

"Let's go Greninja!"

"Gardevoir, I choose you!"

"Lucario, I choose you!"

"Corviknight, I choose you!"

Leaf and Koharu did manage and used to mimic Ash, hence they both felt comfortable shouting it.

Ash's team pokemon stood proudly on the battlefield, facing the other pokemons with fierce eyes.

"They say first move's the winner, Venasaur, use Petal Dance!

Shauna had her first move, the other five did scattered around the battlefield, but since the battlefield is plainly flat, they have to think of new possibilities that may give them the upper hand.

Venasaur unleashed the Petal Dance but it was easily dodged, and all pokemons were scattered all over the place.

Blows to blows, attacks into attacks, they all exchanged blows and attacks and neither team is giving up.

"Hey what is wrong Serena? You're team's running out of fuel? Too bad we're ending this pretty early." It was Tierno taunting the team leader again.

And then to Ash's surprise, they went back and formed into one, as if they're sticking together and preparing for a big move.

"You know what Venasaur is capable of, right Serena?" Shauna aske, smirking.

Serena's face paled, she thought about what happened during the first tournament.

"Why Serena?" Leaf asked her.

"Sh-Shauna's Venasaur and it's Solar Beam is thrice as big as n-normal ones." Miette muttered.

"Does it?" Ash was intrigued.

"Let me show you how it is done Serena, Venasaur, Solar Beam!" She yelled out.

"Everyone, that move still takes time, make it count, Lucario, Aura Sphere!" Ash called out

"Corviknight, Air Slash!"

"Gardevoir, Shadow Ball!"

"Delphox, Mystical Fire!"

"Greninja, Water Shuriken!"

"Chesnaught, Pin Missile!"

They have unleashed all of their attacks towards the foe's team but unfortunately, it was blocked by the Aria and Tierno's Gardevoir and Blastoise who used Protect in order to neutralize the attack.

Serena's expression sunk at the sight of the Solar Beam, her horror, Shauna did the thing.

"Fire!"

Even Ash didn't see any of that before, the Solar Beam was truly three times bigger than usual. The large Solar Beam was fired towards them and all of their pokemons didn't have the ability to dodge due to being tired.

But it was one thing only Ash can do.

"Lucario!"

The move made contact towards them, and it caused a large explosion on the battlefield, the booming sound of explosion made the battlefield quiet, as eerie as possible.

Shauna and the others yelled in victory, they cheered happily because they knew they won the match

"Hahaha! You understand now Serena? From third place, now your school has gone down to last place! What an embarra--- What?!" Shauna was interrupted as she can't believe what she just saw.

The whole crowd was also in shock of what they just saw.

After the large thick dust was dispersed, what stood in front of them was a ridiculously large version of the move Protect, in front of them is a vortex of faint white aura, it hurled around, and it also looked like Koharu's Gardevoir helped out in activating the unique Protect move.

"Wh-What is that?!" Shauna and the others asked in shock and disbelief.

"You know, stick what I will just say in your mind, the six of you." Ash said mysteriously.

The six of them slightly sweated, they felt a little afraid of who they just mocked.

"I don't like mockery, and I don't like boastful trainers."

With that being said, the vortex of faint white aura dispersed and what stood in front of them is the unfamiliar, or should we say, new form of Lucario, or better yet, the Bonded Form of Lucario.

A black cloth tied around his head like a blindfold covering his eyes, more precised body figure, longer claws on paw and feet, and three floating bigger Aura Spheres around him, that's what it looked like.

Shauna's team looked at Lucario with fear, they didn't knew who they're battling with. Even Serena, Calem and Miette were shocked at the display of power. Yes they saw Ash's Bonded Gardevoir Form, but this is new to them.

"Now then, I hope you six are ready for our counterattack."
