3rd Person's POV

Quite another day have passed, it was again another peaceful day for Ash, Leaf and Koharu.

Here in Aquacorde Town, we can see them tending with the pokemons in the sanctuary.

"Meloetta, can you please fetch us the pokemon food?" Leaf asked the mythical pokemon.

Meloetta nodded happily and went to get the pokemon foods for the small ones, she used Psychic on it and made things easier.

It was their hobby everyday, tending the pokemons, doing small trainings with them.

But with these many pokemons, they needed a help, so Gary was there in order to help them, and at the same time, examine their healths, research about them, and stuffs like that.

Gary accepted the challenge and started his job, he wood occasionally go to their sanctuary thrice a week.

They also got the help of Aether Foundation, the Alolan gang would also occasionally visit the sanctuary twice a week.

But right now, it's just the three of them tending the pokemons, but it was fun at least.

"Diancie, the small ones should be separated from the big ones okay?" Koharu informed her.

"Way ahead of you."  She remarked with a smile as she tended the small ones.

Ash was assigned to the big ones, he took the challenge and sometimes they see them fighting over food.

Can't help it right?

"Alright, here you go Garchomp--- wait no that's not yours Rhyperior!" Ash quickly called out as Leaf's Rhyperior was about to snatch a pokemon food.

It's everyday they see scenes like this, and it can't be helped, it's pokemon's nature after all.

While they're on their usual task, an unexpected visitor have arrived.

"Ash, it seems that a fellow wants to see you, I don't know who she is."  Zorua said as she poked Ash thoughts.

"She?"  Ash asked.

By the way, Zorua, a pokemon Ash got a year ago, Zorua was in fact, the same as Gardevoir when she was Ralts, an abandoned pokemon. Zorua was then rescued by Ash and was taken as his pokemon.

Zorua then opened to him as months passed by, that's why she unlocked her hidden features and was soon able to communicate with Ash through mind.

At first, Ash was astounded at this, but soon was relieved and was happy that Zorua can do such thing.

"Yep, she's a she, why don't you get in here and check her out?"  Zorua said.

"Will do."  Ash replied and then informed the others that theirs someone he'll tend.

"Can I come too?" Koharu asked with those cute puppy eyes, of course Ash can't resist.

"Okay fine, Leaf, can you take care of these while we're out for a while?" Ash asked his sister.

"I'll do fine!" She replied while feeding the pokemons.

And with that, the two went towards their house in order to see this unknown girl that was looking for him.

As soon as they opened the door, what greeted them is rather a girl that was probably on the same age as them, she has a blonde hair that went down on her upper waist.

"Ah! Good morning, are you Ash?" The blonde haired girl asked.

"That's me, what do I owe this visit, wait, scratch that, come inside for now." Ash replied and offered her to come inside.

They went inside and offered her a seat.

"You see, I was being tasked to look for you. Ah! By the way, my name is Serena, I'm sorry for the late introduction." The girl, Serena, bowed as she introduced herself.

"I guess you know me, this one here is Koharu." Ash introduced her girlfriend.

"Pleased to meet you." Koharu said with a smile.

"Likewise, well you see, the reason I came here is because I was tasked to." Serena stated.

"Who told you to?" Ash asked.

"It's actually the head teacher of our school that wants your presence, I don't know why, but it seems that Diantha wants you for some reason." Serena explained.

Hold up, school?!

Don't tell me...

"She wants me to attend her school?!" Ash exclaimed in surprise, jumping into conclusions.

"Ah! No, no! That's not it, Diantha mentioned that you would say something like that, but that isn't the case." Serena quickly said out.

Ash managed to calm himself down, after all these years, Ash doesn't want to attend schools, he's fine with what he has right now.

"You see, there's an upcoming tournament in our school, and we're up against other schools." Serena explained.

Ash thought about where this one is going.

"But isn't it illegal to recruit someone outside school?" Ash asked her.

"You may think that it is, but it actually isn't, for some reason, the other schools also recruits other trainers outside the campus." Serena replied.

"And that's when Diantha called me?" Ash asked again.

"That's right, although I don't know why, Diantha speaks highly of you, that's why she sent me to call you up, hoping that you would accept the invitation." Serena replied.

Ash was surprised that she didn't even heard the incident that happened four years ago.

"And in addition, we currently have three spots left unattended, so I was hoping that you...bring her along?" Serena asked while shyly looking at Koharu.

"She's fine with that, but you said three?" Ash asked.

"Yeah?"

"Then perfect, the slots are now complete." Ash grinned.

"I don't...see anyone here." Serena said out as she looked around.

"Oh, she's tending our pokemons outside, say, when will we go there?" Ash asked her.

"As soon as possible, that's what she said." Serena replied quickly.

"Wow, she's really in a hurry, isn't it?" Ash remarked.

"Yeah, and with that, my job here is done, the school is located in Vaniville Town, there, you can see the school." She said as she stood up, ready to leave.

"Thank you for the information, we'll go there tomorrow." Ash replied.

Serena bowed once again before leaving.

Ash and Koharu saw her off and then went back inside.

"So, what do you say Koharu? I assume you want to make your debut?" Ash asked her as he ruffled her hair.

"Yep, and you'll see that I'm stronger now than before." Koharu said playfully.

"I sure do hope that Koharu." Ash said with a grin.

Koharu smiled brightly and then hugged him.

"Yeah, and we'll take the top." She said and gave Ash a peck on the forehead.

"Now, should we remind Leaf?" Ash asked her.

"Lead the way."

Kalos Battling Institute, a school packed with trainers from Kalos, was in a preparation right now since an upcoming school tournament is going to be held.

But, there seems to be a problem, and that made the top contenders worry.

"Diantha, can you please handle another mini tournament, we still have three unoccupied slots and the tournament's coming up!" It was Calem, the top battler of the school.

"I agree with Calem Ms. Diantha, the tournament's weeks from now yet we can't still find the three who'll take the slots." A girl named Miette chipped in, she was also a contender for the tournament.

The tournament is a six versus six tournament, and that is right, six of them will battle altogether against the other schools.

That is to test the teamwork of the six trainers, whether they can handle it or not.

"I have sent Serena to look for someone, worry not, I'm pretty sure that she'll succeed in pursuing them." Diantha stated in a calm tone.

"Can't you just let Alain join?" Calem asked in a rather worried tone.

"I can't do that, I had tasked Alain in a researched project." Diantha replied.

"Wha--- those guys better agree to Serena..." Miette muttered.

"As I said, worry not, for I'm sure that they have agreed by now." Diantha said with a smile.

And with that, the other schools doesn't even know who they were facing against.
