3rd Person's POV

The whole stadium went quite for awhile after seeing such rare sight in front of them. Many tragedies had happened, although not first time, it was really a surprising encounter between Ash and the Thunderclap Pokemon.

"Ze-Zeraora..." Ash muttered as he quickly familiarized the yellow humanoid figure in front of them.

Even Clemont and his party are intimidated by such appearance, he's an Electric-type gym leader but this is his first time seeing such Pokemon.

"I apologize for this sudden intrude but may I accompany you in this battle? It has been a long time since I battled my friend here, Zapdos." Zeraora politely bowed as he spoke telepathically.

"I...I guess I can do that." Ash was lost for words. Zeraora smirked and then faced off Zapdos with much more intimidation than before.

Clemont regained his composure and then focused on the battle.

"Let's continue this, Zapdos, use Thunder!"

"We'll do the same Zeraora!"

The two trainers are quick in commanding 'their' Pokemon, the two Pokemon cried out their names before unleashing a powerful Thunder, both are repelling each other's attacks and is somehow on the same power.

It seems that it's just the beginning of the battle yet they're rushing in excitement.

"Zapdos, you use Close Combat!"

"Then we'll also use the same."

Both Pokemon charged towards each other with glowing fists and claws, and then both exchanged blows and kicks, with no one visually losing and winning.

Both trainers are also keeping up while giving them commands.

...

Meanwhile, on Anistar City, Olympia's peacefully sitting on her royal chair inside her gym, when suddenly a spike on her feelings have somehow emerged.

She quickly stood up and took, gaining worries from her students.

"What seems to be the problem, Lady Olympia?" Charlene, one of her students, asked in worry..

"Worry not, this isn't a negative feeling." Olympia reassured her student.

With that, she walked towards the middle of her gym battlefield. With her two Meowstic accompanying her, they floated mid-air and Olympia spread her wing-like cape, galaxies are somehow visible behind her cape.

Moments later, a somewhat holographic picture of a boy accompanied by a yellow humanoid pokemon, facing off a large yellow-orange bird-like pokemon, exchanging blows to their extent.

"So it finally came towards him..." Olympia smiled as she muttered.

"Wh-Who is that Lady Olympia?" Charlene asked in curiosity.

"The boy I've been telling you, the soon-to-be trainer of our little friend, Kubfu. He's currently at the Vaniville Town, have I told you already about the academy located there?" Olympia asked.

"You already told me, Lady Olympia." Charlene replied.

"That academy's currently holding tournament, he's one of the contestant." Olympia stated.

"Lady Olympia, it seems that I can't familiarize those Pokemon fighting against each other, who are they?" Charlene asked.

"Yes, the yellow humanoid one is a Zeraora, while the bird-like one is a Galarian Zapdos." She replied.

"Z-Zapdos?! Then that means..."

"Yes it is, both are legendary pokemons facing each other, indeed a rare sight." Olympia answered.

Charlene, as well as the others who heard Olympia, was in utter shock and disbelief.

"Charlene, have you ever heard about the Legend of the Thunderclap Pokemon?" Olympia asked.

"I have, but I didn't did any particular research about it." She replied.

"Then let me tell you this legend. The Thunderclap Pokemon, also known as Zeraora, once fought together with the hero, facing off the evil from the darkest times, it is said that Zeraora's the one who will find it's link, his linked partner and himself will once again fight altogether." Olympia stated.

"Then, seeing a Zeraora once again means that..."

"Yes, Zeraora felt another disaster to occur, and as soon as possible, he should find his link, and then he found Ash." Olympia concluded.

"But why didn't it showed up from the last time? The Eternatus incident?" Charlene asked again, she heard the news about the Eternatus incident in Kanto, knew Ash was the one who took down Eternatus by Olympia's prediction.

"Maybe it was still in it's deep slumber, Zeraora sleeps within the Plasma Forest, a place, or rather, a paradise, unknown to every trainers or even the Champions. Maybe it just recently woke up, and had the confirmation of the forestkeeper in that forest to find it's link. Zeraora will wake up when it'll feel a slight hint of disaster coming." Olympia explained.

"Then, another disaster might occur once again..." Charlene muttered.

The two Pokemon still stood without breaking a sweat, but the other surrounding Pokemon are already at their limit, leaving only the two of them in the battlefield.

"Zapdos, Thunderous Kick!

"Zeraora, Plasma Fists!"

Zapdos cried out and charged electricity, focusing all of it towards it's claws. Zeraora clapped it's hand and it generated blue electricity on it's fist, and both pokemon charged towards each other and exchanged blows, but as usual, the power is equal and it just felt like there will be a never-ending battle between these two legendaries.

And Ash thought it is time to end things up.

"Zeraora, let's go overlimit, I know we can do it! Put all our power into one, use Plasma Fist!"

Zeraora, having a surge of new energy coming out of nowhere, felt rejuvenated and acquired power that he never had before.

His eyes are now bright electric blue, whiskers are growing longer than before, his blue outline on her forehead had also grew longer than before, his body have more touch of blue and black outline surrounding his upper and lower portion of the body, it somehow resembles Ash.

Zeraora once again cried out loud and managed to overpower Zapdos' Thunderous Kick, Zapdos was surprised at the sudden power it achieved and backed out.

"Wh-What is this?! Just like Lucario, is this a new form of Zeraora?!" The announcer's voice echoed throughout the whole stadium, they were quite perplexed about this sudden turn of event.

Out of Ash's consciousness, he's also emitting faint white aura around him, to which Koharu and Leaf was somehow worried about. Koharu held Ash's hand for him not to push his limits further and further.

"A-Ash..." Koharu said in a worried tone.

"I'm fine Koharu, I just felt a new energy, maybe because I did Bond Evolution with a legendary Pokemon." Ash reassured her, she calmed down a bit knowing that Ash seems fine.

"Let's do this Zeraora, Plasma Void!" Almost like he made this up out of nowhere, but Zeraora normally complied, it clapped his hand formed a rather elastic electricity, and then suddenly, oblong shaped electricity came out of nowhere around it. Then Zeraora slammed the ground, the voids have started darting off towards Zapdos.

"Zapdos, quick, Close Combat on all of them!" Clemont was quick to react.

Zapdos cried out then one by one, it repelled all the incoming Plasma Void thrown off by Zeraora. It made a huge dust cloud around Zapdos, then out of nowhere, Zeraora appeared in front of Zapdos.

"This is the end, Plasma Fist!" Ash yelled in victory.

With that, Zeraora punched right through the smoke and landed it's fists on Zapdos, it dealt huge amount of damage and also made a huge impact around the battlefield. The move knocked Zapdos off, resulting for it to faint.

"Z-Zapdos is unable to battle! Zeroara wins the match! That means Kalos Battling Institute is the victor for this year's tournament!"

Ash sighed in relief and Zeraora reverted back to it's original form, the additional streaks faded through faint aura.

At the stands, Diantha smiled at their achievement, she'll be in great debt towards Ash.
