3rd Person's POV

In an unknown location, a familiar yellow humanoid figure ran through the woods, with skillful and precise movements, it jumped from branches to branches, hoping to find the exit of the thick, dense forest.

Ever since that old man said those words to it, Zeroara can't help it but get curious about what's that trainer looked like and his personality.

Zeroara itself knew he was a prideful Pokemon, to be able to gain his trust means you need to be a responsible trainer in order to use his power.

Though, with that having in mind, as he kept on running, Zeroara did felt another jolt from an unknown location, this time, it wasn't a human being.

Rather, a pokemon, a formidable one.

A Pokemon he knew very well, a Pokemon who he knew he can rival with, a Pokemon with outstanding strength.

Right now, he had no idea why these two jolts he's feeling are nearby with each other.

Ignoring it, he kept running throughout the woods, under a one, peaceful night.

Just as predicted, the Lumiouse Pokemon School easily swept out Snowbelle Pokemon Institute without uncoverint their second choice of Pokemon.

That night, the Lumiouse Pokemon School Team Leader decided to conduct a meeting for tomorrow.

"Champion of Kanto? That boy with his legendaries?" Asked Valerie as they discussed the upcoming match tomorrow.

"You are right Valerie, but we can't afford to lose, me and Bonnie right here saw the power of his Lucario and I can say that his Lucario is on a whole new level in terms of power." Clemont replied in a surprisingly calm tone.

Clemont have seen his power even from that tournament years ago, the Kanto Indigo League.

He saw the tremendous powers his pokemon have, the unique bonded evolution forms of his certain pokemon.

Watching them and analyze made him understand Ash more and more, but on the contrary, he failed to detect his weakness, even just a little.

"I have currently no idea what is his weakness, all I can say is that type disadvantages don't matter to him, even if Bonnie's Blaziken were to face his Lucario, I can still see his Lucario winning like it's a piece of cake." Clemont explained with truthful tone.

Well, that didn't bother Bonnie in any way.

"All I can conclude is if we focus our attacks on him..." Clemont trailed off.

"You can say that, but we saw the match, sadly, it may not be the best strategy we can do." Grant stated.

"Bonnie's Squishy can just handle it, right?" Korrina said as she looked at Bonnie with pleading eyes.

Bonnie sweatdropped at that.

"I-I think so, but 10% form is the max form Squishy can use, due to the tournament being not a disastrous calamity." Bonnie replied.

"Hey, how about 'it'?" Viola asked Clemont. The blonde haired boy quickly knew what she was talking about.

"'It' is the only plan left I can think off, maybe the chances will turn upside down if we were to face any form of bonded Pokemon Ash have, maybe we will have the chance of winning this tournament." Clemont replied with slight confidence.

The meeting went on and they discussed tomorow's plan

Serena's occupied herself with many thoughts for tomorrow's match, that day's the day the new champion will be announced, unable to sleep, she walked around together with Miette and Calem.

"Still bothered at what Shauna said about Lumiose Pokemon School?" Calem asked out of nowhere.

Without looking at him, she nodded in response.

"I mean, yes, Ash and the other two is stronf, but Shauna doesn't joke around, if she say it's strong, it'll be ridiculously strong." Serena replied.

"Don't worry, we will be able to pull something out together with Ash." Miette encouraged.

"Yeah, I hope so..." Serena trailed off.

"Powerful pokemon, she say?" Leaf asked out of nowhere.

"Possibilities of it being a strong pokemon is that it can do something like Z-moves or Gigantamax, or atleast that's what I thought." Koharu explained.

Ash kept on thinking that mysterious pokemon Shauna was talking about.

"I'll just assume that Clemont guy will use his trump card in the last round." Ash said to no one in particular.

"At the same time, you can't wait for it, I already knew you Ash." Koharu said while giving him off a sly smile.

He nervously laughed at that.

"So that means, the only possible way to do it is by..." Leaf trailed off.

"You're right Leaf, forcing him to send out his last pokemon."

"Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the finals of this years Second Regional Tournament of Kalos! Are you all excited to witness a heated match between Kalos Battling Institute and Lumiose Pokemon School?!" The announcer asked the audience.

They all roared in excitement, the whole battlefield is filled up with audience, some of thek was even from another region, just to see and spectate this seasonal tournament.

Ash have said his strategy to Serena and the others, they were reluctant at first but eventually cooperated.

"Well then, without further ado, let us all welcome, trainers! Reveal yourselves into the battlefield.

Suddenly, two circular platforms appeared on both sides of the battlefield. Six figures are on each platform.

"The first team! We have Serena as the the Team Leader, Miette, Calem, Ash Koharu and Leaf! And on the other side, we have Clemont, Bonnie, Grant, Valerie, Korrina and Viola!" The announcer yelled out.

"Clemont? Bonnie? Isn't they..."

"Hello Sir Ash! You too Leaf and Koharu!" Bonnie waves at them in a cheery manner.

"Wait, you three knew them?" Serena asked them.

"Just the two of them, we don't know the other four." Ash replied at her.

"I thought Bonnie was a newbie." Leaf playfully pouted.

"Hello to you again, Champion of Kanto." Clemont boldly said.

That shocked the audience watching currently. Since most of them didn't knew what happened on Kanto years ago, they did have no idea who was the Champion of Kanto, they all thought it was Lance all along.

"N-Now that Clemont said that, his Lucario was awfully familiar! Everyone, we have ourselves the Kanto Champion!" The announcer yelled.

Since there's no such rules about a champion can't join such tournament, Ash recieved no violation.

Continuing on, both teams have revealed their team.

Serena let out her Sylveon. Calem and his Talonflame, Miette and her Weavile, Koharu and her Inteleon, Leaf and her Pidgeot and lastly, Ash and his partner Absol.

On the other side, Clemont revealed his Luxray, Bonnie and her Greninja, Grant and his Tyrantrum, Viola with her Scizor, Valerie and her own Sylveon, but it's appearance is somewhat different to Serena, and lastly, Korrina's Mienshao.

"Battle begin!"

"You five stick with the plan, I'll handle Clemont." Ash told them.

"Right!" With that being said, all pokemons were scattered throughout the battlefield, exchanging blows and attacks, except for the two particular pokemons.

"Hey Clemont, good to see you again." Ash greeted the blonde-haired boy.

"Likewise, Ash." Clemont replied in a calm tone.

"Keeping this up shortly, I'm afraid I might have to defeat that Luxray quickly, due to me wanting to see your next pokemon.

'H-He knew?!' Clemont exclaimed in his thoughts. But he knew he should remain calm in order not to be obvious.

"Well, let's see about that, I won't go down that easily." Clemont declared.

"Let's see about that, Absol, please use Night Slash." Ash commanded.

"Luxray, you use Thunder Fang!" Clemont quickly ordered.

Both pokemons rushed towards each other and exchanged blows using their commaded attacks, but their power was near equal.

"I guess were equal in power." Clemont stated confidently.

"I'm not so sure about that, Absol, let's use your REAL Night Slash." Ash commanded, this time he smirked.

"Luxray, stop it's tracks with Thunderbolt!" Clemont, sensing danger, quickly commanded his pokemon.

Absol rushed in unbeliebably whole new level of speed, Luxray was able to cast out Thunderbolt, but Absol easily pierced through it with Night Slash, he hit Luxray right through it, and it was a one hit K.O for Luxray.

Clemont looked at it with disbelief. At the same time, he understood his method.

'Trimming down into me facing him off alone, keeping my other team busy as possible, he did outsmart me.' Clemont thought.

Clemont's team noticed Clemont's defeat and then they forced into regrouping themselves up.

His team was about to apologize but he interrupted.

"No, it's okay, it is partially my fault for not noticing his strategy earlier." He stated.

As soon as he said that, he returned back his fainted Luxray and picked up an odd looking pokeball, or rather, a custom made pokeball.

It has orange and black pattern around it, a black lightning bolt sign is marked on the pokeball. As soon as Clemont touched the ball, the clouds suddenly turned black, as if it was about to rain.

"Well then, behold, the power of lightning, the main powerhouse of Lumiose Gym! Come out!" Clemont yelles as he tossed the custom-made pokeball.

The capsule openes and what came out from it give shock and chills throughout the whole audience, even for Diantha and Professor Sycamore who were watching on the special spectator stand.

It's appearance is that of a bird pokemon, it has orange and black streak around it's body, it's wings have multiple edges, and it's feet are incredibly thick than normal ones.

"Wh-What is that?! Is that a Zapdos?!" Calem exclaimed in shock and disbelief.

"No..." Koharu muttered.

"What?" Miette asked."

"That's no ordinary Zapdos..." Koharu trailed off.

"Y-You're right Koharu..." Leaf murmured.

"It's a Galarian Zapdos."
