3rd Person's POV

Nimbasa City, a place in Unova perfect for training your pokemons, the city has this stadium wherein battles also occur.

The place also has a huge ferris wheel, where you can go sightseeing of the beautiful place, the gym leader of the Nimbasa City, Elesa, often go to that ferris wheel all by herself.

The three walked around the town, also sightseeing the place, they also heard about this underground train station, which is pretty awesome.

"Brother, I want that ice cream!" Leaf exclaimed as she pointed out at the ice cream vendor's shop. Ash sighed and then bought three of them, Ash gave one to Leaf and Koharu, Koharu shyly accepted it while Leaf was the opposite.

"Say Ash, how does your adventure goes?" Koharu asked of nowhere, still walking around the city.

"It's fine, exciting and enjoyable, with Leaf around, she enlightens the mood." Ash replied to her, Leaf turned around at them and smiled.

"You must've experienced alot as trainers." Koharu stated, Leaf and Ash nodded at her.

They continued on walking until they arrived at the Nimbasa City pokemon center. They gave their pokemons to Nurse Joy to look for them, she happily accepted and it may be a while before all of them are healed, so they decided to stay at the center until they're completely healed.

"About the league Ash, it says here that the league will be held at the Indigo Plateau." Koharu said as she looked at her Rotom Phone, Ash kind of wanting to own one soon.

"Is there any other updates Koharu?" Ash asked her.

"Well, it also says here that the champions of each region are expected to have their own wild cards." Koharu added, Ash frowned at what he heard from Koharu.

"Those trainers should he tough then." Ash sighed as he thought at that matter.

"You'll just do fine brother, you already defeated a champion, no need to worry." Leaf said and patted her brother's back.

"Leaf, I never underestimate my opponents." Ash stated.

"But you just did the opposite back then." Leaf said and smiled slyly.

"That was no underestimation, it was just plainly because I wasn't in the mood to fight." Ash calmly said and smirked at her sister.

"Geez, fine." Leaf pouted as she looked at her brother.

"Trainer Ash and Leaf, your pokemons are now healed, please claim them on the desk." Nurse Joy announced through the speaker.

"That's our cue." Ash stated and then the three of them claimed their fully healed pokemons from Nurse Joy.

By the time they walk out from the pokemon center, a sudden small chaos emerged on the city, it looks like the city is on trouble, they noticed the situation and went to the source.

After minutes of running, they found themselves on the Battle Stadium, without hesitation, they went in to the stadium.

They arrived at the field and noticed people in gray are having battles with some of the trainers on the stadium, and on the other side of the field, stood a somewhat important person, maybe someone causing the chaos. The man wore a cape and somewhat a machine-like eyepatch, he's also holding a weird staff containing a gem in it.

"Behold, people of Unova, we, Team Plasma, are here in order to control the region!" The leader of the team, Ghetsis, announced, and with that, he tossed his pokeball, revealing the three headed pseudo legendary pokemon of Unova, Hydreigon. Five trainers who were in front of them revealed their pokemons, namely, Darmanitan, Simipour, Doublade, Magmar, and Staraptor.

"Darmanitan, Flamethrower!"

"Simipour, Scald!"

"Doublade, use your Shadow Ball!"

"Magmar, Fire Blast!"

"Staraptor, Air Slash!"

The trainers yelled out their respective attacks, those attacks were headed towards Hydreigon.

"Tri-Attack." Ghetsis commanded, the pseudo legendary pokemon blasted an attack of three colors, and it somehow deflected the attacks.

"Hyper Beam." Ghetsis commanded again, Hydreigon was quick to react and then fired the deadly Hyper Beam towards the five.

"Protect them Gardevoir!" Ash's voice boomed throught the field, and just in time, Gardervoir went to the front line and protected the five. Ghetsis have no clue what just happened as the dust kicked in.

"Hmm?" Ghetsis wondered, but the wonder was replaced with shock and greed as he laid eyes on the one protecting the other five.

"How interesting, how incredible." Ghetsis' words are now filled with greed as he took sight of the light blue Gardevoir standing in front of them.

The other trainers are also shocked at the sight of the rare pokemon.

"You should return your tired pokemon, I'll take it from here." Ash said as he walked towards them, hands still behind his head, followed by Leaf and Koharu. The trainers followed his instructions and then returned their pokemons, and decided to spectate the upcoming battle.

"Who might you be?" Ghetsis asked menacingly, but Ash was unfazed, in fact, bored.

"Me? I'm just a bypasser here in Nimbasa, until I heard a commotion." Ash replied unimpressed at Ghetsis' presence.

"I thought you just said you don't underestimate your opponents?" Leaf suddenly asked. Ash looked at her sister.

"You're ruining the mood!" Ash exclaimed, Koharu and Leaf deadpanned at that.

"I did what?" Leaf asked, clueless about what Ash just said.

"How dare you insult me like this! Hydreigon, Dragon Pulse!" Ghetsis commanded angrily. Hydreigon was quick to fire the pulse but Gardevoir was quicker to defend it using her Protect.

"Do you know it's bad to make a move like that?!" Leaf shouted at Ghetsis.

"I don't even care child! Agents!" Ghetsis ordered, and with that, more and more agents came out from behind.

"Now you're surrounded. Let's end this quickly. Hydreigon, fire a Tri-Attack!"

"Bisharp, Metal Sound!"

"Drapion, Sludge Bomb!"

"Swoobat, Air Slash!"

"Liepard, Dark Pulse!"

"Cofagrigus, Shadow Ball!"

With that, the attacks came out from everywhere and was fired towards the three and the other trainers, Koharu doesn't know what to do, but Leaf and Ash just smirked.

The attacks hit their target and cloud dusts were formed, it was thick that it'll maybe take a while before it'll disperse.

"Poor trainers, they had their consequences, now let me get that Gardevoir of his." Ghetsis stated, but as he stepped a foot, the dust cloud emitted lights of different colors, it was unexplainable to them, but suddenly, the smoke was cleared in the blink of an eye, and what was now in front of them, made their eyes widened in shock and disbelief.

Infront of Ghetsis stood two beautiful Gardevoirs in their mega evolved form, one being the shiny one, and a normal one, another figure also stood all fours, which is actually the Absol who Ash met a month ago, it is a Mega Absol right now, and a Mega Pidgeot hovering on the air above them. The trainers whom they protected couldn't believe what they are seeing, even for Koharu.

"Wh-What is that thing!" Ghetsis shuddered, Hydreigon also flew back.

The four mega evolved pokemon had their stances ready.

"Shall we go all out Leaf?" Ash asked her sister.

"Yes brother, we shall."

And with that, Ghetsis commanded again his agents to fire another round off differend kinds of attacks.

"Pidgeot, block the attacks with Hurricane!" Leaf ordered, and Mega Pidgeot did it's thing and protected themselves with a large Hurricane, they weren't affected since they were in the eye of it, and with Mega Pidgeot's control of air, it should be fine.

The hurricane blocked the incoming attacks, and then dispersed, but the Moonblast of Ash's Gardevoir, Dark Pulse of Absol and Leaf's Gardevoir are now ready, and with that cue, the attacks were fired off, Moonblast was headed towards Hydreigon, and the Dark Pulses were aimed at the other pokemons which the agents owned.

All attacks were hit and all of the Team Plasma's pokemon are now fainted.

"No! This can't be!" Ghetsis exclaimed. He can't believe what he was seeing right now, all of their pokemons are fainted.

The four pokemons reverted back to their original forms, Ghetsis and the others returned back their pokemons.

"This isn't the end!" Ghetsis exclaimed, just with that, a helicopter arrived and got Ghetsis out of the place.

"No! Get back he---"

"Let them be, Leaf." Ash interrupted.

"But---"

"No buts, we'll get them next time." Ash reassured his sister, Leaf just huffed at that.

"Fine." She said and then pouted, Koharu and the other trainers are still digesting about what they saw today.

"Let's call it a day for now." Ash said and both him and Leaf sweatdropped at that, he leads Koharu out of the stadium as she was still in shocked state.

But unfortunately, the whole chaos was recorded, including Ash's battle.
