Meeting the king
I smiled as I got up ready to run in a short little race. Physical stuff has never been my thing but I was willing to run in short bursts. I looked to my right side at my brother. He woke up a few weeks after I did. Just like me he could control his limbs but couldn't stand at first let alone walk. He had trouble talking while I was just very quiet. Gaster had figured out that the two of us seemed to figure out stuff together. Though he had to help Papyrus talk as I don't think my brother ever heard my voice. "Go!" I took off running slightly behind my brother. I started to add a sort of jump or skip to my run allowing me to take the lead. It was just in time for me to win. I turned around and lightly hugged my brother. He returned the gesture and we let go to see Gaster. Papyrus tried to imitate my little run jump but ended up doing a clumsy jump and ended up stumbling. I breathily laughed in a way that looked like a almost muted movie but if you were were close you could hear my laugh, it has a light whistle to it. My brother stopped walking and turned to me "oh my Asgore, Sans why are you laughing!" I let out a loud laugh as I answered "It's kinda funny!" Papyrus stiffened in surprise before he spoke "Sans did you talk?" I nodded my head as an answer. Papyrus's eye sockets widened as they filled up with glowing stars. "Wowie! You just talked!" I heard Gaster approaching. His shoes are quite loud due to the fact there bottoms are quite hard. Each step made a taping sound slightly louder than the last. He looked tired, well more than usual. "Come on you two we're leaving." I could tell he was trying to not sound angry it was slight as he was mostly succeeding. My brother and I quickly fallowed in suite. We quickly left the little place I have grown to call home. The heat immediately hit me like a train. I continued to fallow Gaster. We walked for what felt like hours but I knew otherwise. I looked around we were underground in a massive cavern, I couldn't see the ends as the cavern seemed to bend. We passed by several strange figures. They all stared, not in amazement at the sight of more skeletons as from day one I knew it was just three of us but I could tell that they didn't like us. I heard murmurs and occasionally I could make out what they were saying or just snip bits like "What's he doing with those poor children?" Or "Those things can't be natural Gasters the last of em!" Even "Are those children even monsters? How did he get them?" Gaster simply ignored them. The monsters didn't bother to hide their opinions at all. My brother and I quickly grew uncomfortable. I turned off my eyelights and just glared at anyone who seemed to dislike my brother or me. I glared a lot. Gaster said that when I wanted to be I could be quite terrifying and I believed him. I laughed internally at their shock. "We've arrived.". I turned my eyelights on and looked ahead. I came out from behind Gaster and looked around. Papyrus did the same. We were in what looked like a throne room. It was different than any throne room I had ever seen pictures of. The walls weren't elaborate or decorated nor were the floors. Instead of having a carpet or any flooring at all instead there were flowers and grass. The flowers were a yellow just like the walls. The king must like yellow. The walls had leafy green vines that went from the ceiling to the floor. All of it was very well tended to. If it wasn't for the throne which still wasn't at all fancy I would never have guessed that this is a throne room. The throne itself was simplistic in design. I felt a hand touch my shoulder. I jumped as I felt somebody touch my shoulder and a unknown energy course through my body. I shot around and saw that it was just Gaster. I took a breath and calmed down. Gaster looked shocked but he shook his head seeming to brush it off before he spoke "This one is Sans he has shown signs of high intelligence already. He is quite quiet however as well as the fact his soul and body are weak. Papyrus; the other one is quite powerful but unlike Sans just now has shown no signs of magic yet. Papyrus has shown energetic qualities and is quite vocal. I do suspect he has magic." I looked at the king who Gaster was speaking to. He was quite large and fluffy looking. He had a golden blonde and beard and hair that looked like a main. The king's eye's where heterochromatic the left one was orange and the right a aqua blue. He had a large purple cloak with what looked like very heavy shoulder pads. The King must have felt me looking at him as he turned his head and talked to me in a deep gruff and friendly voice "Hello little one my name is Asgore, your Sans correct?" I nodded my head choosing scilence as always. "What do you think of my throne room?" I quickly signed my thoughts *very beautiful. Whoever takes care of it does a very good job.* Asgore nodded his head before he replied "I take care of everything here. It's become quite the passion.". I turned towards Gaster, who looked completely flabbergasted... again. Asgore must have noticed this as he spoke "Dr. Gaster, what's wrong? Don't you speak in hands and sign language quite often?" Gaster nodded his head before he spoke "I do but I haven't around them. I feared it would tamper with their languagstic skills. I was planning on giving them their first lesson later today at my house." Even Asgore looked confused before he guessed how I learned it "Well maybe he found a manual for it." Gaster shook his head "I don't have one and even if I did it wouldn't explain the fact that he's fluent in sign language.". Asgore was quite for a few minutes before he spoke "Well I guess we'll have to ask him. Or chalk it up to skeleton lauguagistic abilities." Both of them turned towards me. I was listening in on their conversation so I simply signed *From a past life.* Papyrus still just looked confused so he spoke "I have so many questions."
