~ BTYB Kaida Falling into a Portal Loop ~
After Kaida's vision had cleared, everything seemed to be the same, even the rabbit next to her, though it seemed calmer now than she had ever seen. Looking around herself, there was the same river between the same forest, nothing had changed but when she tried to wash her face with some water, her hand hadn't even gotten wet. It was like the water went through her hand as if it wasn't even there.
"What is happening?" She asked herself, quite literally too.
"This is the Spirit Realm." Came the answer, quick and simple. "You can't interact with the real world and vice versa."
"How do I go back?" She asked Arienne, hoping she would have the answer to her problems.
"You need that Rabbit's skill to go back." She told her partner in crime. "So, tame it and use the Command skill."
Nodding, Kaida looked at the rabbit that had brought her here, but before she could put Arienne's plan into action, two creatures burst out of the treeline. The first one was Umbra who was flying and calling out for his tamer, worried for her well-being. While the other was Silver who was less panicked than his comrade but was still worried nonetheless.
To say Kaida was surprised would be accurate, but the two were just meters away from her, yet neither of them seemed to be able to see her. Standing up, she had completely forgotten the plan to get back to the Physical Realm. Instead, she walked over to Silver and watched as her hand went through his body. But she had noted that he seemed to be aware that something happened to him, almost like a chill went down his spine.
"Ashura, back to the plan!"
"Right. Sorry, I got curious." Returning to the rabbit, Kaida kneeled down and stretched her hand out once more. "It's okay, I mean no harm," she spoke, hoping the creature knew what she was saying. And it seemed that it did.
Hopping toward Kaida, the mammal nuzzled into her hand again, ignoring the two other creatures in the vicinity.
"Nexus, tame." She commanded as a confirmation screen appeared in front of her. Without hesitating, she confirmed the action as the crescent moon mark on her left hand glowed purple before the bunny shared the same purple glow. When the light had disappeared, a white crescent moon was now present between the rabbit's ears.
What would you like to name your Spirit Rabbit?
For another moment, Kaida took some time to think of a name. Eventually, she found a fitting one, "I'll name you Wisp."
Wisp registered as Lunar Child
Once the window was closed, Kaida cradled Wisp in her arms before standing up. "Wisp, can you bring us back?" She asked softly as the rabbit nuzzled into her arm. "Don't worry, take your time." She said, not wanting to have to force the little mammal to follow through with her requests.
Seconds later, her vision flashed blue before clearing up, but before she could make sure she was back in the Physical Realm, she felt two beings tackle her to the ground, making her let go of Wisp. Then, she felt her two beasts licking her face lovingly, but she stopped it quickly since it tickled quite a bit.
Standing back up, Kaida looked for Wisp, only to see they were nowhere to be found. "Wisp, where did you go?"
In response to her question, a swirl of blue appeared in the air before Wisp materialized from it. Surprising both of the other animals in the area, Umbra and Silver were prepared to attack the Spirit Rabbit, but Kaida noticed this and told them to stay calm.
"Come here, Wisp, we're going home." She said, walking slowly over to the small mammal before picking it up. With her new pet cradled in her arms, Kaida left the area with Umbra around her shoulders and Silver following closely by her side.
By the time the group of four arrived at their temporary campsite, Kaida realized the food she had cooked had disappeared. And when she looked at the two animals she left with the food, they looked away and imitated whistling.
Grabbing her bag, Kaida slung it around her shoulders before looking at her pets. "Since I have no food, we're going back to Ultima." She said before checking the position of the sun since she had yet to buy a watch. "Silver, you'll have to run with us on your back if we want to be there before sundown."
Walking over to Silver, Kaida sat on his back before using one of her mana blasts to put out the fire, though it was now a small crater instead. Ignoring that, she leaned close to Silver's body to make sure she stayed on his back while her smaller beasts were between their bodies, holding onto Silver's fur just to make sure they didn't fall off either.
Running back toward the city, Silver tried to run as fast as he could with the extra weight on his back. But, after she was surprised, Wisp transported all of them to the Spirit Realm and promptly forgot to bring them back to the Physical Realm until the group arrived at the Eastern gate. Thankfully, the guards didn't attack them immediately, having recognized Kaida leaving earlier that day.
Ignoring the looks of the ordinary nameless citizens, Kaida walked back to the Adventurer's Guild and took refuge within one of the rooms reserved for adventurers. Plus, all of the rooms were free of charge as long as the adventurer took a quest every other week.
Nonetheless, she had dinner within her room before leaving to take a shower in the city's public bath. Thankfully, she wasn't attacked again and returned home before falling asleep with Wisp and Umbra cuddled up to her. Though Silver was on the floor because he was too heavy for the bed.

~ BTYB Kaida's Cuddle Fest! ~
The next morning, Kaida had gotten ready, but decided to wear a little more clothes. Which meant that on top of her white tunic, she wore a black tailcoat as well and stored her important belongings in her usual barrel bag. Then, she grabbed Wisp and let Umbra ride on her shoulders with Silver following beside them as usual.
With some quick directions from Laurentia, Kaida headed toward Ultima's research facility. Upon arriving, she saw a small building but could hear explosions within it, so she was just nervous standing in front of the closed metal door.
Knocking on the door, she heard a lot of things fall before a man in just a lab coat and pants opened the door. "Can I help you?" He asked, not even taking a moment for common courtesies.
"I'm here with a Spirit Rabbit. I heard that some researchers wanted to study one of them." She answered softly
"I don't see any Spirit Rabbit." He tried to kindly correct her before she started to worry and look around for Wisp.
"Can you tell your coworkers to quiet down? She doesn't like loud noises," Kaida asked before calling Wisp. In response, the man slammed the door shut before yelling at everyone to quiet down.
"Is that better?" He asked, opening the door once more.
Nodding, Kaida made one last glance for Wisp. "Wisp, you can come out now," she said softly before she felt something had landed on her head. Looking up, she saw Wisp shaking in fear, so she grabbed her and started to pet her in an attempt to soothe the Rabbit.
"Interesting, it hides in the Spirit Realm when frightened. That must be some sort of fight or flight instinct." The researcher deduced before letting Kaida in with her two beasts. "Is that a Phantom Dragon? I've never seen one in the Human Territory."
Ignoring his comment, Kaida walked toward the large group of men in lab coats that were sitting around a table on the ground floor. Once they had noticed her, a few researchers had stars in their eyes and their attention was drawn to either Wisp or Umbra.
Among them, only one of the men had spoken up and this one had hair reminiscent of Albert Einstein. "You must be Kaida. We had gotten word that you accepted our request, but we did not expect you to return for quite a few days, maybe even a week."
"Well, I have Wisp here for you to study," she replied, ignoring his second comment. "But, please, no loud noises. Wisp gets scared easily."
Nodding the scientists placed a small stool in the room and Kaida placed Wisp on there. Suddenly, all of the researchers ran up to Wisp and scared her away, but that only let them take down notes about her behavior. Regretfully, Kaida called Wisp back and let them study her again, only for her to disappear once more. So, for the rest of the time, Kaida had Wisp sit in her lap while they took their notes.
When the men had deemed their notes sufficient enough, Kaida was given two silver coins before she was allowed to leave. But as she left, she had the lingering thought of why there were only men in the building. Though she just believed that no woman can put up with that many men.
Nonetheless, she put her reward in her coin pouch before heading back to the Adventurer's Hall with Wisp finding her way on top of Kaida's head. With the slight weight added onto her head, the silver-haired girl made her way to the meeting place for most adventurers.
Entering the building, Kaida saw a few adventurers passed out on the tables and chairs within the tavern but ignored them to head over to Laurentia. "Miss Laurentia, I finished my quest."
Putting down her pen and setting aside her paperwork, Laurentia looked at Kaida with a small smile. "You came back just in time." She said before standing up from her desk, "Just leave the quest paper on the desk, I'll get to it later."
Placing the paper on the desk, Kaida watched as Laurentia went into the tavern and woke up one of the many sleeping occupants. This one was a young woman with platinum blonde hair and a very curvaceous body, though Kaida couldn't point out many other details from her distance.
Walking back to the desk, Laurentia dragged the groggy woman, but as soon as the woman took a glance at Kaida, she bolted awake and ran up to Kaida, capturing her in a bone-crushing hug.
"Kaida! I missed you so much!" The woman exclaimed, keeping a very strong grip on the younger girl. "What were you thinking running off like that! And you dyed your hair!" She exclaimed angrily, ending the hug and holding Kaida by the shoulders.
Then, she noticed Kaida's golden eyes and her own widened in shock. 'Arienne, what's happening?' Kaida asked, panicked.
"That's my sister, Krystal. Don't bother fighting her, she should be just over level 200 by now." She explained nonchalantly, but that scared Kaida even more.
"A... hero? Laurentia, is she really?"
"Yes. I was surprised by the revelation too, but she is also the first of the heroes to be spotted." The woman began to explain but stopped to let Krystal piece it together.
"So, someone else is in control of my baby sister," Krystal concluded with grief commanding her tone. Gripping Kaida by the shoulder tighter, Krystal looked closely into the younger girl's eyes. "Let my sister speak to me." She ordered, her grief completely absent from her voice now.
"I... I don't know how," Kaida weakly said before she felt some ethereal force close her eyes. When she opened her eyes, the golden glow was brighter than before, showing that Arienne, the real Kaida, was in control. "Hey, Krys."
"Oh, thank Gaia!" Krystal exclaimed once more as she hugged her sister again. "Don't run off like that ever again. You made me worried sick."
"What's going to stop me next time?" The silver-haired girl asked, only to feel something tight around her neck, perfectly on cue.
"This choker." The blonde woman answered. "Disobey an order and it constricts, leave and I can track you down, try to take it off and I'll know." She explained seriously, though it had hardly broken Arienne's nerves or even scared her for that matter.
Pushing her older sister back, Arienne brushed the dust off her clothes. "So you're going to order me to come back to Mytheria with you?"
"Only if I have to. Now come along, our mother will be expecting us when she gets back." She said before leaving, not bothering to look back to make sure Arienne was following her.
Once she was outside of the building, she whistled loudly before a thundering roar was heard off in the distance. A moment later, the ground shook as something landed and through the doors, both Arienne and Laurentia could see a wyvern with very dull green scales.
"Kaida, this is an order, come with me to Mytheria," Krystal spoke, barely audible to the girl, but as time lingered, Arienne felt the choker gripping her neck. Not wanting to be decapitated or suffocate, Arienne grabbed Wisp off her head and walked over to Krystal with Silver following cautiously behind her.
"Gale, don't drop me."
In response, the wyvern snorted in Arienne's face, scaring Wisp, but she was too scared to even disappear into the Spirit Realm. Then, Krystal jumped up and landed on a saddle between Gale's wings.
"Gale, go slow this time, we have some extra passengers," Krystal ordered which the dragon seemed to follow this time. "Kaida, get your pets up here."
Obeying the orders, Arienne let Wisp and Umbra get on Gale's saddle first while she had to calm down Silver before he jumped up. Finally, Arienne got on Gale's back and hugged Krystal from behind to make sure she wouldn't fly off.
Softly patting the base of the wyvern's neck, Krystal and the others held onto the saddle as Gale took off, amazing the citizens that had stopped to admire the dragon. Still following the orders she was given, Gale started to fly toward the east, making sure not to speed up and drop her passengers.
After a couple of hours of non-stop flying, Gale landed in a large courtyard where a few knights were waiting along with two adventurers, clearly defined from their choice of clothing compared to the knight's armor. Jumping off of Gale's back, Krystal started to walk toward the staircase leading into the courtyard but turned around to look at Arienne as she jumped off as well.
"Welcome back to Mytheria, Princess Kaida!" All the knights shouted at once, though it had hardly started Arienne.
"Good to have you back, Princess." One of the adventurers spoke, but their greeting went completely ignored as Arienne helped Wisp down from the wyvern's saddle.
"Kaida, it's good to have you back," Krystal spoke softly, only leading to Arienne scoffing at the small welcoming party.

A/N: By chapter 12, my writing style may change a bit and I'm doing that after a review I got on a story. It's nothing for you to worry about, it shouldn't be any major change from how it is now.
Anyway, see ya, Lovelies!
