Hidan's Ending
"Oi Hot bitch!" A crass voice echoed throughout the Hyuga compound. Despite being at the entrance, Hidan has some kind of magical ability to make his voice heard everywhere he goes. The Hyuga woman was asleep, but after the third scream of her name, she knew he wasn't going to stop until she was up and at 'em.
"Damn, motherfuc-jashin needy manchild" The slew of grumbles and curses escaped as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes. She yanked on the clothes hanging over the back of her desk chair, toothbrush stuck between two pursed lips as she rushed to get ready, Hidan's shouts still persisting every few minutes or so. She raced out the door, sliding through the halls, running into a fuming elder brother. He leveled her with a sleepy, vicious look.
"You take care of him before I do." Neji hissed, silky hair effortless falling over his shoulders, unruffled despite his just waking up.
"Oh I will." She promised, images of the upcoming beatdown he was going to receive lessening her fury of being woken up before the sun had risen. Ever since she kissed him at the club, Hidan had been even more needy than usual. Barging in and taking her away from whatever she happened to be doing. Even followed her on a mission just to end up killing some poor guy who picked a fight with her. After which he promptly, properly gave her the best kiss of her life.
While it was annoying sometimes, Hinata couldn't help the amusement and downright giddiness she feels at his somewhat energetic process to get her to kiss him again and again and again.
She indulged in the absolutely elated grin he sported as soon as she opened the front gate. Magenta eyes twinkled in mirth at the ruffled appearance she sported, hair going every which way, dark circles lightly caressing her under-eyes, the ties of her top put together not quite right, one sock higher than the other, and a crooked, tired smile all for him. Jashin, one day he was going to wake up with that hot fucking mess in his bed.
"G'Mornin." She yawned, a groan slipping out as she stretched. The emerging sunlight seemed to bathe her in light.
"It is now that I'm here." He pulled at the edge of her shirt, straightening it out a bit. "You look like shit." He snickered at her disgruntled pout.
"Well fuck you too." She bit back. Swatting at the large hand that was patting down her bedhead.
"Don't hate the truth, hot bitch."
"I wonder why I look like shit?" She questioned. Her sweet tone was betrayed by the downright evil look she sported. In the next moment, his pupils dilated, adrenaline pumping as she punched him with bone shattering force. The feeling of his sternum cracking delighted him. The feral smile and joyed cackle that he got out as he went flying showcasing just that.
"Fuck~" he groaned, "I guess I'll have to wake you up early more often with a greeting like that." His smile was all sharp teeth and sinful excitement.
"You do, I'll kill you." Her lips curled back into a, slightly playful, snarl.
"Is that a promise?" She rolled her eyes, threats did nothing but excite him.
"You're insufferable." Her smile said otherwise. The tall, obviously chiseled man threw a sinewy arm over her shoulder, pulling her into his side. Long legs strode forward with confidence, pulling the woman along with him. "What exactly did you wake the whole compound for?"
"Need some shit from the market, all the good stuff is gone by 10. Thought we could blow off some steam first, too." Hidan was always ready to fight, but he seemed to have a reason.
"What happened."
"Kakuzu, that motherfucker, took my mission with your little sister and that konomaru brat instead to get all the pay. I was supposed to be out killing some bitch ass non-believers and that fucker brought someone else instead. Now I'm gonna have to find another fucking mission to meet my quota for the month. Fuck, pisses me off just thinking about it!" The white-haired man raged, an inferno blazing in his magenta eyes.
"Kakuzu brought my Hime on a bounty hunt?" The woman grit out, hoping she was wrong. Hanabi had said she was going on a mission with Kakuzu a few days ago, but never gave the details. Sure, she was strong and could take care of herself, but going on a mission solely for bloodshed was not one Hanabi needed to do especially barely being 14. Her 'Kakuzu-senpai' and Konohamaru would never let Hanabi get in over her head, but still. "That old geezer. I'm going to rip his arms off and tape them to the 1st Hokage's head." That was a promise.
"Fuck yeah. I'll help."
"Right." She blew the bangs from her face. All ounces of sleepiness left, her chakra thrumming and ready to go as the agitation set in. "Fuck it, lets go." Now it was Hinata dragging an elated immortal behind her, ready to let off some steam. He loved seeing the rage in her eyes, loved her eagerness to fight, loved the promise of getting his body broken by such a woman.
After an hour of sparring, Hinata was knelt beside Hidan, the slashes in her skin knitting back together as she focused on mending the shattered clavicle already bruising. Lavender eyes trailed appreciatively over the hard planes of his abs, the sculpted strength of his chest, the perfectly sharp lines of his jaw, the slope of his nose. Somehow every time they saw one another, he seemed to get more attractive.
Hinata never held back with Hidan, never had to. He could take whatever she gave and never complained. Magenta watched through lidded eyes, the messy, slightly bloody sight of Hinata as enthralling as ever. Not for the first time, hidan was reminded why he loved her.
He loved almost everything about Hinata. He's pretty sure the first time they met, the first time he watched her gut an enemy, he was in love. It was like Jashin had created her for him. A woman as sexy as she was strong, smart to boot. Sure, she was a lot nicer than he was, and not a mindless killer, but when she wanted to, her bloodthirsty and love for battle matched his. A woman who could quite literally punch a hole through someone had to be for him right? She's the only thing that made the thrill of taking a life pale in comparison, he was never bored, never unhappy with her around.
She took his shit with a smile on her pouty lips, giving it right back to him. She kept him in check, but never told him he needed to change who he was. She could cut his head off but would put him back together every time. She might get annoyed with him, but never failed to make him less alone. She was a shit cook yet always made sure he had enough food when on a mission. She was everything Hidan was, and everything he wasn't. She was fierce, strong, determined, loyal, kind, crass, and the sexiest woman he'd ever seen.
Hidan sat up slightly. Magenta eyes were trained on her, only her. To her, they seemed to glow with..something. Hidan was always looking at her like that. It made her want to hide yet it made her want to bathe in it. "Why are you looking at me like that." Hinata questioned, her voice coming out weaker than intended.
"You're hot as fuck." He answered simply, not willing to tell her the extent of his thoughts just yet. She watched as his tongue darted out wetting his bottom lip.
"Yeah, yeah." She drawled. Hidan sat up fully. The tip of his nose brushed hers, warm breath washing over her lips. He moved forward, until his lips almost barely touched hers, eyes locking onto her wide ones. Something settled between them, sharp like electricity yet warm, overwhelming their senses with a feeling of complete and utter belonging.
"One of these days you're finally gonna fucking realize you're as in love with me as I am with you." A grin stretched across tan cheeks. Hidan was satisfied with the flush that began to travel across her cheeks and the bridge of her nose. Hinata had known hidan had liked her, sometimes she could talk herself into believing he was just teasing, but hearing the extent of his feelings, and the desire for her to feel the same, she couldn't ignore it anymore.
"Maybe." Hinata didn't deny a thing, she couldn't. Perhaps, maybe just maybe he could be right. She wasn't in love, at least she didn't think so. But, Hinata was willing to see just where this feeling between them could go. She leaned forward to close the breath of a gap between her lips, but Hidan pulled away with a coy, satisfied smirk.
"Fuck, as much as I'd like to have that eager mouth of yours, I'm not kissing you until you beg for it." He pitched his voice up in a poor imitation of the Hyuga before him, lashes batting flirtatiously. "Hidan, Hidan, please I love you so much. I need you to kiss me, please, I can't take it anymore." He threw his head back and cackled, her eyes drank up the sight of him so effortlessly happy, soft morning light kissing his features. Hinata stalked forward, her chest pressing against his, her hands grabbing his hair, yanking his face down to her level, face all too ready to plead. His pupils dilated, chakra thrumming with want. He didn't think she'd cave so soon.
Then she smiled, it was teasing, venomous, and downright sultry. "We'll see whose begging for who." Fuck. Hinata pulled away right as Hidan was ready to say fuck the rules already. Before he pulled her back, the competitive gaze she wore enthralled him, the need to win firing through his very being. He was not going to lose, he was going to make her cave, he was going to make her fall for him. No matter what.
"Well played hot bitch, well played." The sun finally emerged from the tree-line. Hidan threw an arm over Hinata's shoulder, painted nails playing with a stray lock of hair. He vocalized his grocery list, enjoying walking into the already beginning to bustle market street. It wasn't unusual for Hidan to stand close or hold on as he dragged her places, but somehow this felt entirely different. Romantic. She felt it too, her hand coming up to hold his; it felt all too natural.
They walked through the increasingly busy street, a comfortable silence as they shopped. Hinata cocked her head to the side, looking up at him. Hidan looked down, brow cocking in question. "Let's go on a date." She said simply.
Hidan looked confused, lips parting dumbly. "Why're you asking like that?"
"What do you mean 'why am I asking,' asshole. I thought, well, maybe because you're sooo eager for me to fall for you, you'd want go on a date or something." She bit. Hinata was flustered, upset and a bit hurt that after all he said, he'd turn down their first official date.
"The fuck are you talking about. We go on dates all the time." What? Hinata is sure she'd remember going on a real date with Hidan.
"Like when?"
"Like now."
"Oh." This time it was Hinata's turn to look baffled. She was absolutely stupefied that Hidan had thought all of their outings, together, alone, were dates. Actually, the more she thought about it, the more it made sense. Especially with the way Hidan's brain worked. Her stomach flipped, body warming at the thought that Hidan enjoyed and respected their time together enough to believe they were going on dates, not just hanging out as people somewhere stuck between friends and more. "Yeah. I just thought...never mind."
She squeezed his hand tighter. Her lips parted, a smile stretched across pink lips, shining eyes scrunching from the size. It was the most blinding, radiant look she had ever given him. He'd put it up there with the look she had after he'd found her father, crazed, bloody and all directed at him.
"Shit, you want one of those fancy dates for people who don't know one another yet." All the pieces fell into place at their miscommunication. Fine, I'll give you the best fucking date of your life. Tonight, wear something hot. Pack a bag too." Hinata was all too eager, head nodding rapidly. Without having to do all the useless small talk, she wasn't the least bit nervous for their date. Hidan was Hidan, thats all that she needed.

Back at the Uchiha/Akatsuki compound of Konoha, Hidan was whistling to himself, grocery in hand, the other resting behind his head as he strolled through the streets. If anyone were to look down, he'd look like he was about to break into a little jig. He kicked in the front door shouting a much too cheery "I'm home fuckers." He walked into the kitchen, tossing the goods on the counter uncaring if the fresh produce would bruise at the harsh treatment.
Sasuke was in the kitchen aiding Shisui in cooking some kind of breakfast, Itachi sitting and watching with rapt attention, a pleased look on his face. Gross. Sasuke gave him a glare, Itachi ignoring his presence entirely. Shisui, his favorite by far, at least had the courtesy to say morning. Hidan took a seat at the counter, kicking his feet up onto the counter, leaving one chair between him and Itachi. After a few seconds, he was whistling a cheery tune, tapping along with his fingers.
"Stop." Sasuke grumbled, shooting him a harsh, unamused look. Heh, perfect. Hidan retaliated by being louder.
"Who'd you kill this time?" Kisame asked as he slid into the kitchen, inhaling the savory scent of his soon-to-be breakfast. Hidan was always energetic, but that wasn't necessarily a good thing. However today was different, he got their groceries, and was practically vibrating in cheer. He was only this cheery after a good sacrifice, and even that didn't compare to now. The satisfied looks he kept giving the Uchiha brothers also made them wary about what news he was going to share.
"Spent the morning with the village's resident Hot Bitch." At that, he had the Uchiha men and Kisame's undivided attention. "We're going on a date tonight." Like Hinata, everyone else had been under the impression they were not going on dates, so the news was a bit of a shock. The way Itachi's carefully crafted mask broke slightly at the news had the immortal so utterly satisfied.
"What did you say?" Sasuke questioned lowly, eyes bleeding red.
"I said, I. Win." Hidan didn't look away from the intense gaze of the little Uchiha's sharingan, unfazed. Sasuke however, went to jump across the counter, ready to wipe the stupid smile off the Jashinist's face. Itachi, as quick as ever, grabbed the back of his collar, stopping him in his tracks. He wasn't quick enough to stop Shisui. The eldest of the three was behind Hidan in a second, Kunai embedded in his throat. At the commotion, the only other member who was actually home, Sasori, walked in. Cold, lifeless eyes assessed the situation with a sigh.
"My baby Hina isn't some prize to win. How dare a motherfucker like you even think you're good enough to take her on a date." Hidan choked on the familiar feeling of blood filling his throat. He smiled, blood dripping down and making him look absolutely feral.
"She asked me." At that, Shisui stopped his attempt to cut Hidan's head off. He couldn't decapitate and bury him if his baby sister was the one asking him on a date. She was smart, she'd go on the date see how wrong he is for her, come home and choose Itachi. Or literally anyone but Hidan.
"Like hell she did." Sasuke got free, punching Hidan right in the face with crushing force. If Shisui wouldn't end it, he would. Hidan laughed in his face.
"Jealous? Fucker." He spat some blood out, pulling the kunai from his neck.
"Little brother, if Hinata-hime was the one to ask Hidan out. We should respect her wishes. She will see soon enough what a sorry partner he would make." From the moment he noticed the pull Hinata had, Itachi was content with being part of her "harem," but the idea of Hidan being her choice in partner stung. He knew the Jashinist harbored feelings for the woman and treated her better than he did other people, but he didn't like the idea of someone as perfect as Hinata with him. He knew she had some missing marbles, they all did, but perhaps an intervention needed to happen if after their little date she was pursuing a real relationship with hidan.
"Hn." The littlest Uchiha pouted at the scolding.
Oh, Sasori was very glad he came in. This was an interesting development indeed. Deidara would lose his shit when he found out. Sasori couldn't wait to be the one to share the news.
Kisame gave Hidan a sharp grin. "Good luck with that man." The date might go fine, but Kisame had an inkling Hidan was going to be missing a head more often than not from now on. There were at least 6 people who would kill the Jashinist for his attempts to defile the Hyuga princess. Whether it would be death by bombing, strangulation, gentle fist, sharingan, or the team of Zabuza and Kakashi, he wasn't sure.
With the way he grinned, Hidan was a certifiable menace to society. He knew he had won, they wouldn't dare ruin Hinata's night.
"Hinata is much too kind for you." Sasori gave his input, cold blank smile on his face. This was amusing indeed, however, he happened to like the little Hyuga and would prefer if Hidan recognized exactly how lucky he was. For now.
"Don't I fucking know it." That was the correct response, it seemed to soothe the tension, minimally, but it was enough for Hidan to be released and leave. He had a date to prepare. Once he was gone, "I have something to do." And Sasuke was gone in a poof of smoke. He got Naruto first, then Zabuza, then Kakashi-sensei.
"Maa, whats the emergency my cute protege?" Kakashi drawled. Sasuke rarely initiated team 7 meetings, never without Hinata.
"That dumb freak asked Hidan on a date." There was a moment of silence.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY DATTEBAYO?" Naruto was shaking Sasuke senseless, trying to imagine his Hina-chan going on a date with a creep like Hidan. Gross.
"You've got to be fuckin' kidding. I knew that girl was unhinged, but Hidan?" Zabuza's face pulled into a glower, thinking of all the ways he could dismember the immortal. Hinata was attracted to danger, from the moment they met he could tell. But going on a date with a man whose existence is to kill other people, for pleasure, there was no way he'd let his babies godmother make such a bad decision for herself. Bringing him to the village to 'save him' was bad, joining the Akatsuki and then bringing most of them to the village was worse, dating Hidan...the worst decision she's ever made. At least with the ongoing bet amidst the village, not a single person had chosen Hidan, so none of them would lose any money.
"Well this is unexpected." Kakashi surely thought Hinata would end up with Itachi. Potentially one of his students, never Hidan.
"What are we gonna do teme? He's gonna do bad things to Hinata chan, what if he forced her to go with him?" Honestly, his students were taking it better than expected.
"Maa, we know Hinata cannot be forced into doing anything she doesn't want to." Kakashi would know, he tried. She's as hardheaded as they come.
"Yeah, but she's weak to handsome men. She can't look past his stupid abs 'ttebayo." That, that was an accurate assessment. They got flashbacks of Hinata hitting on Madara in the midst of battle and shuddered. Maybe she was just a bit crazy.
"Hn." Sasuke was still pouting.
"Instead of sitting around like little shits, why don't we guard from afar. We're shinobi, right? "
"Thats a great idea." Naruto slammed his fist into an open palm. Whiskered smile and puppy blue eyes making everyone willing to do what he asked. "Alright, team 7 mission, protect and make Hina-chan's date a fail is a go." They needed more reinforcements.
"Well, I'd rather not be there when she finds out. Report back when you're all done! Bye." He smiled, leaving a pile of leaves in his wake. Kakashi was not about to stoop so low as to stalk his former student, his team was perfectly capable. Plus he doesn't feel like getting his ribs broken and not healed by the Hyuga. Besides, he could deal with Hidan on his own terms. A little bodily harm would keep him in line if he truly wanted to be with one of his students.

Hinata had truly dressed to impress. She was excited to go on a date and was determined to get Hidan to break their little challenge first. She wore a very low cut dress, bringing attention to the tits she often covered to the best of her ability. The deep red contrasted nicely against her skin and the inky blue of her hair. A slit ran up the side of the dress, exposing one leg when she walked. Her hair was left down, billowing in curls over her shoulders. The storage seal that was holding her overnight bag was inked into her shoulder, the tip of it peaking out just lightly.
When Sasuke saw her leave the compound in such an outfit, he almost broke their cover. He couldn't believe Hinata would go to such lengths for a date with Hidan. She was serious and that stung. If it weren't for the comfort of Naruto at his side, he'd have lost it entirely.
When Hidan first took notice of her arrival, he sat up a bit from his place on the fence. It felt like the wind was knocked from his chest. She enjoyed seeing his Magenta eyes look her up and down, burning gaze traveling from her face, down the contours of her neck, the valleys of her breasts, the curve of her waist, the peak of thigh as she walked. All wrapped up in his favorite color. Large hands reached out, gripping her waist once she was close enough. He pulled her between his legs.
"Fuck." He breathed appreciatively. Hinata felt immensely pleased at his reaction. "We should've done this much sooner." A grin split his lips as Hinata unashamedly gave him the same treatment. Lavender eyes devouring the sight of him. He was wearing black pants and a black shirt, unbuttoned much too low, showing off the pecs he was proud of. The leather jacket did nothing but emphasize how broad his shoulder were.
Nimble fingers gripped his shirt collar, lips curling enticingly. "Yeah. We should've." There was some magnetic pull between them. It was like electricity running through her body, all consuming. In that moment there was nothing but them. Glossed lips opened to ask him if he was ready to plead for her, when Hidan stood.
"Alright, babe, let's get some food." Just as hot bitch had been growing on her, he switches it up. The nickname had a flush coating her cheeks in no time.
"Where?" She cocked her head to the side just slightly, intrigued on where Hidan thinks is a good place for a date. Honestly, she would be willing to go anywhere and was entirely uncertain of what kind of place they were going.
"Narisawa. The owner owes me." He was extremely pleased with the gobsmacked look on her face. Her mouth was gaping, eyes wide in true shock. Narisawa was one of the most elite and difficult to eat at restaurants in Konohagakure and even amidst the entirety of the Land of Fire. If you weren't a noble, feudal lord, or the daimyo it was relatively impossible to get a reservation without paying some serious coin and waiting for at least a year.
"What did you do?" Hinata shot him a suspicious look, lips pushed out, brow raised in question. There wasn't a single good reason for someone to owe Hidan anything.
"Nothing" She deadpanned at him, knowing he was trying to blow smoke up her ass. Hidan was anything but one to do something out of the kindness of his heart, especially for others.
"Hey, that fucker owes me for breaking his shit face when he tried tell me they're booked." The immature pout and whiny tone had Hinata bursting into a fit of laughter, head thrown back in pure amusement. There's the Hidan she knows.
"You're terrible." Yes he was, but she couldn't stop grinning at him. In some twisted very Hidan way, it was pretty romantic. Nobody had threatened a shop owner to get her good food before, and boy was she excited.
"And you fucking like it." That she did. Unfortunately for everyone else. Hinata just shook her head in reply, intertwining their fingers together as her answer.
"Lets eat!" She punched their intertwined fist into the air, excitement oozing from her every pore. Her tummy did a summersault at the unbearably soft gaze Hidan had as he looked down at her. She wanted to protect that smile, wanted him to look at her like that forever. When he realized she noticed, a sharp grin took shape and he hoped his ears weren't as red as they felt.
"Fuck yeah!"
Chakra's completely hidden thanks to Naruto's seals, the trio watched from outside each at a different place. The date was going too well for Naruto and Sasuke's taste. They were already on their second course and that glow of happiness hadn't left. Hinata was sipping on a glass of wine, every few minutes breaking out into obvious giggles when Hidan would say something stupid. The way she bat her eyelashes at him ever so often, eyes lidded and a seductive smile made them sick.
"Hina-chan looks really happy, huh." Naruto broke the com silence.
"Hn." She looked so happy, so comfortable with the immortal. The absolutely content smile she had on as she listen to hidan talk or watched him scarf his food down, the way she spoke animatedly about whatever he asked, it was obvious she liked him. Hinata was only ever this open with team 7 and Shisui, seeing her act like that with someone as vile as Hidan made them jealous. They were the biggest parts of Hinata's world for so long, having to share that world even more now wasn't wanted nor expected.
"As much as he's a bastard, he does seem to care about her. It's time we go." What was almost worse than Hinata just liking him, he was actually treating her well, in his own Hidan-like ways. Hidan was still the worst, but seeing the way he looked at Hinata and only Hinata with fierce magenta eyes growing soft at the edges when she wasn't watching him. Zabuza knew that was the look of a man completely and utterly in love with her. He was wrapped around her little finger. Even with the waitress shoving her tits in Hidan's face, he didn't spare her a second look. His attention was on Hinata and Hinata alone.
Then there was a moment, they all saw it, felt it even if Hinata didn't realize it herself. Only for a moment, any and all of the shadows plaguing Hinata disappeared. Her pale eyes seemed to glow with unbridled joy and love and for someone who saw everything, they all could tell that the only thing Hinata saw at that moment was Hidan. In that moment, they knew they had lost, Hinata was in love whether she realized it or not. The agitation Naruto and Sasuke felt when they came to the same conclusion permeated the air. Heartbreak and acceptance was palpable.
"Yeah." Naruto sniffled, joining Sasuke's side, big blue eyes shadowed with hurt. Sasuke mirrored his expression. They left together to mend their wounds and pick up the pieces. They both loved Hinata enough to let her choose someone who clearly loved her as much as they did. No matter what, she'd be part of their team, their family, but maybe not in the way either had planned.
When their desserts were brought out, chocolate soufflé pancake for Hinata and Purin for hidan respectively. She was grinning, the immortal knew she only wore shit-eating look when she was up to something. She leaned forward, her chest just barely sitting atop the table, drawing his attention.
"Mmm." Hinata hummed out quietly, rolling her eyes upward slightly as the velvety chocolate touched her tongue. She added the slightest twinge of a moan, watching Hidan's reaction with rapt attention knowing he was the only one who could have possibly heard her. Magenta eyes were locked onto her lips, pupils dilated, and tongue practically hanging from his mouth. She felt victorious, this was sure to be his breaking point and she'd win.
"Damn, you're good." He praised her attempt, but he'd waited for years to kiss her the first time, he could wait a minute more. The smile he gave her was downright sinful, making her cheeks bleed pink. hot. She was once again shocked at how much she liked this feeling between them, it was always there to some extent, but actually leaning into it was becoming very fun. Everything with him was just fun, easy. She bit down on the fork, smiling at him.
"It can be even better." She spoke with a honeyed tone, innuendo not going over his head. Hidan liked when he used to flirt and send the girl into a blushing mess, but this confidence she had was possibly even more fun.
"That's all up to you." He reminded, bringing a forkful of his caramel dessert to his lips. He held eye contact as he swallowed. Licking his lips then adding, "Bet you're sweeter." Ahh, there she is. At his implications, Hinata's entire face, spanning from her ears down to the top of her chest, burned a flaming pink. Pale eyes darted around making sure nobody heard his words, only feeling an ounce of relief when nobody seemed to notice nor care.
"Hidannnn." She whined, utterly speechless. He hadn't made her this flustered since she was like 17. Said immortal just looked all too smug, a snicker spilling from his dirty mouth. When she managed to cool the flames licking her skin, she couldn't help but crack a smile. "That was dirty." Hinata leaned forward, finally able to meet his gaze head on once again. There was a challenging twist of her lips. "You're so going down loverboy."
"All you have to do is ask." Hinata thanked the waitresses' perfect timing as she arrived to refill Hinata's wine glass, blocking the much too cocky immortal from her view.
"You know, I've been wondering. What else do you have planned for this date of ours?" Hinata wasn't sure whether the smile he gave was something to be excited or terrified over.
"Since my mission was taken, I got us a different one tomorrow. Should be a fun fucking fight." He grinned, it was positively feral. And, well, Hinata always liked a good fight. She didn't want to get rusty in case something big ever happened. Only hidan would plan a week long date. "Tonight we're gonna go to an onsen."
"Together?" Hinata had seen Hidan in varying states of undress, but he chose to be half naked majority of the time so it wasn't shocking. Being naked, in a bathhouse, together, that might be a lot.
"That too much for you, hot bitch?" The smug look he wore ignited the flames of competition once more. She could handle a naked body, she was a doctor, she's seen it all before. Hidan however was not, and she hoped this would be her chance to break him.
"Sounds fun." She shrugged like it wasn't the biggest deal in the world.
"Really?" Hidan looked like an eager little puppy. He was also relatively shocked; he had expected her to protest even a little, or want to go to the ladies one and they would just meet up afterwards. Clean, happy, relaxed, ready for some fun in the morning.
"Yeah, I mean it's just a body right?" Checkmate.
Hinata walked from the changing room to the wash station where Hidan was already scrubbing himself down. She couldn't help gawking at him. Covered in suds, a small towel around his waist being the only modesty he had. The way his muscles rippled with each movement had her heart running laps in her chest. Tearing her gaze away from Hidan, she took a peak at the bath. Lucky for them there was only one person in the bath. He was old and his skin sagging from his bones, but his eyes were closed and he seemed at peace.
With light, soundless footsteps, Hinata made her way to stand in front of the jashinist. Magenta eyes shamelessly looked her up and down, thanking his god for this vision.
"Wash my back?" Hinata questioned with an innocent smile, turning her back towards the jashinist. He swallowed audibly, that towel was barely just enough to cover her assets.
"Mmm." He grunted in agreement, feeling uncharacteristically flustered. With practiced ease, Hinata sat beneath him. She piled her hair atop of her head with one hand, the other holding her towel in place...just in case. The jashinist generously applied a foamy soap, large hands spreading it around her back in a manner almost like a massage. A low groan slipped from her at the feeling; he could feel some of the tension quite literally deflate from her body.
No words passed between the two as they finished cleaning up. Hidan sank into the steaming bath with a sigh, arms and legs spread to let his large size take up even more room. Hinata was quick to follow, settling in beside him, close enough to feel when the other moved but just enough room to not touch. He needed to earn that. She hid a smile in the steam when Hidan peaked over, seeing how her tits seemed to float in the water a bit, the now wet towel draping over every curve and indent. Hidan was normally not one to get any sort of flustered, so she felt a deep sense of accomplishment when his cheeks began to burn a pretty shade of red.
Hinata furrowed her brows, eyes opened like a deer, lips pursed in false concern. You ok?" She scooted closer, very close, moving to put a hand on his forehead. "Your face is looking a bit flushed. It doesn't feel like you have a fever though."
"You know damn well I don't have a fever." Hinata snickered at how he only flushed darker. "You're really trying to make me fucking beg." Her snickers turned into true laughter, eyes closed head back, pure enjoyment. She was so relaxed, so happy, so carefree with him and they both loved it.
"Thats the goal." She cheeked.
"That sucks for you." It was hidan's turn to laugh as he sunk deeper into the water, tipping his head back and closing his eyes, pretending to ignore her presence entirely. With a roll of her eyes, Hinata allowed herself to relax too, enjoying the calm atmosphere. A little while later, the old man took his leave. With the combination of silence, the steam and warmth from the onsen, and the man by her side, Hinata's thoughts began to run awry.
"I think I'm a bad person." Hinata sighed deeply, breaking their comfortable silence.
"Whats wrong with that?" He questioned.
"Well, I like you and you're a bad person, but I just feel like I'm supposed to be something I'm not. Like I grew up in Konoha and I'm supposed to fight for the will of fire, to protect those who can't protect themselves, but I just can't." She slid deeper in the water, letting her head fall back to rest on the ground, staring at the ceiling. "I mean, don't get me wrong. I do fight to protect the civilians and I don't want bad things to happen to them, but if it came down to sacrificing the lives of all the civilians in Konohagakure for the people I know and love, I wouldn't hesitate." She twisted her head to the side, meeting his unusually docile gaze with her own. Her eyes were glassy; he knew a thousand thoughts running in that pretty little head of hers.
"And here I thought you were going to say something really shitty." He raised a hand, tugging on a tendril of her wet hair. "Any fucker who tells you they would choose a different path, other than maybe people like the Uchiha and the jinchuriki brat, is fucking lying. The fact that you care about any of us enough to sacrifice everything doesn't make you bad, fuck, the idea that this even bothers you already means you're better than most of us." She turned her head away slightly at his words, not wanting him to see her eyes as they got misty with tears. Hidan being so genuinely kind was few and far between, so his honesty had her worries easing away. Maybe just maybe he was right. He moved his hand to grasp her chin, tilting her head to look back at him. His eyes were glowing with such raw sincerity, she couldn't look away. "And even if you were a shitty person, I'd still be here."
That, that was probably the most romantic, loving thing anyone had ever said to her. "Hidan." Hinata croaked out, voice husky with something.
"Hm?"
"Please kiss me. I need you to kiss me right now." Hinata didn't plan on kissing Hidan first, she was going to break him, but truly. Right now, with the feelings flowing between them, she wanted nothing more than to show him how much his words really meant. She happily threw some of his words from earlier back at him, it was the least she could do after how he treated her. His face darkened at her wording, caging her in between him and the wall. His large hand gripped the hair at the nape of her neck, tilting her head back just enough. The look in his eye, a mix between excitement and utter adoration punched the air from her lungs, she could feel herself falling only to be saved by him heeding her request.
His lips fit with hers to perfection, sending electricity tingling down through her toes. A soft groan escaped her and she wasted no time in tilting her head just slightly, deepening their kiss. Hidan met her passion and increased it tenfold. It was overwhelming, all consuming as he attempted to dominate her entire being, only for her to meet him with equal ferocity. One hand moved to grip at his shoulder, squeezing at a delightfully painful pressure. Her other entangled in his hair, pulling him closer to her. Hinata thought kissing him after their last mission was amazing, but this, this was absolutely breathtaking. She wasn't sure if she'd ever be able to stop.
Hidan had been waiting for a kiss like this. With unencumbered passion he poured every ounce of feeling he had into their kiss, wanting to drown Hinata in the love he had been swimming in alone as he waited for her to join. "Fuck." He groaned, pulling back and pressing his forehead to hers. "The things you do to me." Hidan husked against her parted lips, Hinata pulling him back to her already. He loved how greedy she was as she took what she wanted from him, never seeming to get enough of his lips on hers.
His teeth sunk into her puffy bottom lip, pulling on it slightly. The sting had her whining, yanking at his grey hair eagerly. When the immortal felt her tongue press against his lips, he took the chance to push it back with his own, her mouth opening wider for him to explore. Nimble fingers happily ran along his back and chest. He began to press hot, open-mouthed kisses down her jaw, pulling at her hair to give him access. "Hidan." She groaned as he continued downward, kissing licking and biting at her neck until he reached the point between her neck and collarbone. There, he sucked, nipping with his teeth leaving a dark, borderline painful mark.
It wasn't enough, Hinata wanted to be closer. Hidan however, could feel his control slipping, wanting more than he thought she was ready for. He pulled away from her with a slick pop. "We should, fuck, we should stop before this goes too far." He could feel her chest heaving as she caught her breath, pale eyes looking up and assessing him.
"Do you want to stop?" The hyuga questioned.
"Fuck no." Definitely not when she was looking so utterly wrecked. Hair sopping wet and tangled from his hands, lips red and swollen, eyes lidded, chest heaving and her towel slipping down.
"Me neither." Hinata proved this point by pulling hidan down, flipping him around so he could be seated in the bath, water going everywhere as he was no longer hovering over her. She straddled his lap with a coy smile, the flush on her face matching his.
(No more for you ;), I don't need this to be rate mature lol)

Hinata was the last to arrive, sliding into the booth taking her spot next to Kiba. She was exuding happiness. "Soo, we heard about your little date." He spoke with a fanged grin. Hinata flushed slightly.
"Yeah, it was..." She trailed off, her eyes glazing over with this wistful look, a dopey smile on her lips. There was the hint of a hickey peaking out the collar of her shirt. She smelled like Hidan too. Ino and Kiba studied her for a minute, exchanging a glance.
"Oh. My. God." The blonde practically shouted at Hinata, conflicted between excitement for her bestie and worry about who she did it with.
"You guys totally fucked." Kiba finished, barking out in laughter as Hinata sunk into herself, face practically steaming with embarrassment. "How was it?"
"It was a bit clumsy at first, but once we got the hang of it, wow." She sighed blissfully, still feeling his searing touch. "And then in the morning, and after the mission. Fuck, she was already in deeper than they had expected. There was a moment of silence, the air beginning to fill with a sort of tension. Hinata looked between her two friends, not liking the controlled expressions they both sported.
"Look" Ino began, breaking the silence. "I get it, he's hot and you guys have some weird situationship going on, but you have to realize you shouldn't date him. He's insane."
"Yeah, what do you even see in a guy like that." That was a question they had all wondered since the day Hidan came to the village. He was just so unlikable.
"I know he's, well, himself, but he's so much more than that. You guys just don't get to see it."Hinata began to gush over the things she likes about him. She didn't have rose colored glasses for him, they could see that. But somehow she accepted and even seemed to like his...flaws. She looked so happy talking about him, and their hesitancy about her liking the jashinist fading ever so slightly. Hidan might be the worst, but if he made her that happy, maybe he was at least a little bit ok.
"He thrives on pain and chaos, what if he hurts you?" Hinata was strong, if hidan ever hurt her they had no question that she'd rip his balls off. But still, Hinata was self sacrificing and would forgive him over and over even if he didn't deserve it. That scared them.
"He won't." She was confident about that, determination seeping into her words. Hinata believed that Hidan would never hurt her...unless she asked. He had never done so before, he was chaos yes, but he treated her like she was the most important thing in the world. Her eyes were set with conviction, and they glimmered with pure adoration.
Ino knew that look, she wore it every time she looked at her fiancé. "Damn." She looked at Kiba. "I think it's too late."
"What, why?" The Inuzuka questioned, head whipping between the two of them. Hinata sat back, waiting to hear what Ino was talking about as well.
"Look at her. She's in love with him." Kiba did just that. The conviction that he wouldn't hurt her, her speaking up in his defense, the way her eyes would soften and voice pitch up slightly when talking about him, the subtle glow she has carried since she sat down, the pure happiness she had after every time she spent time with the immortal, how he could annoy her to the ends of the earth but she never hated it, fuck.
"Yeah."
"I am?" Clearly Hinata was the only one out of the loop for her own feelings. Sure, she loved hidan, but she loved a lot of people. She knew her feelings for him were different, that he was not her family and he was not quite her friend like everyone else, she definitely liked him romantically, but she wasn't sure if she was in love with him. Hinata didn't even know what being in love would feel like. She thought it might be like cupid hitting her, instantaneous and she'd just know. Voicing these thoughts, Ino and Kiba both said thats not at all how it felt like.
"It's just like, at some point you realize you can't live without them and the things you disliked about them become endearing. For me, I knew I was in love when all of the things that made me insecure didn't matter around Choji. He was him and I was me and that was perfect."
"Yeah yeah exactly. I can be myself with Shino and we may bicker but its like we still just get one another and I don't want to do what I do with him with anyone else."
"Ok, yeah, I guess that makes sense." She muttered, eyes unseeing as she focused internally on herself, thinking about her time with the immortal.
Hidan was a challenging person but thats what made him so much fun to be around. He could make her want to pull her hair out and laugh until she cries at the same time. With Hidan, Hinata knew she could be the best and worst sides of herself and he would take it in stride, allowing her to just be human. She felt like she had to be so perfect, so strong, so good, take the world on and save it but with Hidan she felt like she was free to just be herself. Her strength and capability for violence that sometimes scared her and made her feel evil, Hidan made it feel like she wasn't broken. He didn't cower at that side of her, he embraced, he loved each and every part of her good and bad in a way she knew nobody else could.
Even when she felt nervous around him, even when he teased her endlessly, at some point Hinata began to feel at peace around him. He could excite her, rile her up, but he was Hidan. Even her dad kind of liked him. He was chaos yet somehow that made her feel comfort. When she thought about how he'd give her those stupid smiles declaring she'd fall for him someday, her heart fluttered. Hidan was not easy, but he brought her ease. An ease with which she didn't feel with anyone else. "Fuck me. I'm in love with Hidan, huh." She smiled, a soft chuckle leaving her lips. "I guess he was right, I did fall for him." It wasn't all at once, there isn't a single moment Hinata can pinpoint that the feeling belonging happened, but sometime in their years of knowing one another, it developed. She felt like an idiot for not figuring it out sooner. She jumped up from the table looking absolutely frazzled. "I love you both, we'll continue this later." Right before she left the restaurant, she turned back giving a dazzling smile. "Thanks guys, for everything."
"Who is going to lose their shit first when we tell them? " Well, other than the ones who knew and saw how good it was going. A few days ago, after a training ground exploded (Sasuke) and before the dynamic duo was scheduled for a long mission, Naruto told Kiba about the date, and that Hinata hadn't come back yet, so Kiba told Ino, and here they were.
"Neji." Ino knew how much Neji despised Hidan, he was really going to flip a shit. She really hoped to be there to see it.
"I was thinking bomb boy, or maybe bloodthirsty Gaara will return."
"Lets hope it's neither." They shuddered at the thought of the destruction that could occur. Neji, at least, would probably only dismember Hidan and not destroy the village in the process.
Hinata entered the Uchiha district and went straight to find Hidan. She passed by Shisui with a quick hello, not stopping to chat as she stormed past his place to get to Hidan's. The door was unlocked, he always said he pitied the idiot that would try to break in, so she stormed right in, stomping out to the yard with which he was working out in. At the feel of her presence, her chakra flaring, he paused mid push-up. The jashinist gave her a sharp grin, standing up. "Miss me already?" He teased.
"Yeah." Hinata admitted easily. He had little time to react before her hands were around him, pulling him down into a hurried, almost desperate kiss. One second they were outside, then with a little jutsu from Hinata, they were in his bed.
A few hours, a snack, and a nap later they were snuggling in bed, Hinata's leg thrown over his abdomen, arm haphazardly strewn over his chest.
"Why do you love me?" Hinata knew he did, he wasn't lying each time he told her over the years. She did wonder exactly what made him do it though.
"Why're you asking?" He grunted out.
"Well, I mean, so much of your life has changed for me." She lightly trailed her fingers against his ribs. "You were a rogue happily fulfilling your duties from Jashin. I never wanted to take you away from your duties, but I still feel like I have. I brought you to my village, I am the reason you're not out killing anyone and everyone you meet, how can you even stand me?"
"You know, after the war I was given the opportunity to leave this fucking shit village." She knew he was given the option, but figured it was all smoke and mirrors. They'd still probably be hunted if they were rogue again. Hidan sure as hell wouldn't care.
"Then why'd you stay?"
"Because of you dumbass." He harshly poked at her thigh, teasing. "I can still fulfill my duties, it might be a bit too prissy and soft for my tastes, but it does the job."
"You're the only person who knows how fucking crazy I am yet still treats me like I matter. Everyone has tried to change me, but not you. You learned about Lord Jashin and instead of trying to make me denounce him, you're a crazy enough bitch to accept us. I was alone, lonely, always cast to the fucking side because of who I am, but you never did that shit. Once I met you, fuck this shits hard to say. I haven't felt alone since meeting you."He could feel the arm under her head begin to get wet with the slow drops of her tears. "Plus, you can rip apart a man triple your size with your bare hands. If thats not a woman for me then who the fuck is." Hinata let out a wet laugh, looking up at him with big watery eyes. The open, raw expression she wore filled his chest with that overwhelming sense of belonging.
"You were right." Hinata muttered, eyes never leaving his so he could see how honest, how she genuinely feels.
"Always" He snarked, then his brows furrowed "...about what exactly?"
"I'm completely and utterly in love with you, you meat head." Hidan's eyes went wide, mouth parting in shock. He truly looked stunned at her confession. The widest, brightest, most amazing grin split across his face. He pulled Hinata onto him, to cup her face with his hands, squishing her cheeks slightly.
"Fucking finally, I've been waiting forever to hear that, my hot bitch." He pecked her lips.
"You're a dumbass." She snorted, kissing him again.
"And you love me for it, so whose the idiot?" He cheesed, pinching her thigh. She snorted, pressing another chaste kiss to his lips. She pulled away, a twinkle in her eye, a giggle slipping out.
"Still you." She scrunched her nose at him, snickering. If this was his reward for being an idiot, you can bet on jashin that he'd be one. He grabbed her hips, rolling her beneath him to pin her so he could pike harshly at her sides, their infectious laughter echoing throughout his place.
The next morning Hinata was dressed in one of Hidan's shirts and some boxers, humming in the kitchen as they prepared breakfast. She chopped vegetables to put into their egg, Hidan doing all the rest of the real cooking. Just as he cracked the last egg, the door was destroyed entirely with a familiar burst of chakra. In the next second, Hidan was thrown out through where the door once was.
Hinata's first reaction was to throw the large knife she had at the intruder, only to sigh in relief when it was caught between two pale fingers. "What the fuck neji?" She shouted, pointing an accusing finger. "Why are you here." He gave Hinata a once over, the sight of her wearing Hidan's clothes and the dark bruise on her exposed neck had fury coating each cell of his body.
Neji's face was cold, expressionless, but his eyes were ignited with wrath. "This does not pertain to you." He turned on his heel, Byakugan blazing.
"Like hell it doesn't." Hinata gripped onto Neji's shoulder, spinning him back to face her, holding on with crushing force. She hadn't seen him this angry, this irrational since his angsty boy wrath from childhood.
"We'll talk later." Neji never attacked without reason, so she was wholly unprepared for him to chop the back of her neck, sending in his chakra to block off chakra from her lower half of the body, effectively sending her sprawling to the ground, knocked out. He knew he only had a little bit of time before she was up, and raging, so he'd make it quick.
Hidan was standing in the doorway, wiping a line of blood from his mouth. He looked from Neji to Hinata, a heavy frown settling on his lips, anger palpable between the two. "You really shouldn't have fucking touched my girl." Hidan wasn't going to kill neji, that would hurt Hinata way too much, but he would give him a good beatdown for daring to harm her in any capacity.
"She was in the way. This is between you and me." The clan head spat. He could believe his sister was dumb enough to fall for a guy like hidan, she was always attracting people like that, but since she couldn't make a good decision for herself, this time Neji would do it for her.
"Alright pretty boy, I've been wanting to pull that stick out of your ass." Hidan cracked his knuckles, dodging as neji unleashed a flurry of attacks.
"You are a vile piece of garbage. How dare you ever think you are worthy of her love." Neji struck Hidan in the chest, hitting him with a blow that would kill anyone but the immortal. Unfortunately. Hidan grinned, crazed, as he could feel his heart shred, slowly knitting itself together.
"I'm not." The jashinist said, blood dripping from his mouth. Hidan wasn't a genius but he wasn't dumb.He knew Hinata was out of his league, that everyone including himself knew she was objectively too good for him, but she was still his and he was hers. The kitchen knife embedded in Hidan's forearm when he raised it to block. With a well timed kick, he sent neji sprawling backwards. "That doesn't fucking mean shit though, I already have her love and intend to keep it that way." Neji paused a the conviction in Hidan's words, giving the immortal another moment to pin the younger boy to the ground, punching him senseless. "So you can go and tell everyone in this village to stay the fuck out of our relationship before show you guys exactly how crazy I can be for her." Hidan punched him once, going to do it again when a smaller hand caught his fist, holding it in place with crushing force. They both paused, looking up at the awake Hinata.
"Thats enough." She gave Neji a pointed look. "Next time you have an issue with my choices, bring it up with me." The downturn of her lips, the sheen of tears in her eyes, the slump of her shoulders made them both feel like shit. "Go home, Neji." She shuddered out, voice wavering with unshed tears and restrained rage. He only had a broken nose, something he could get fixed with someone else. Hopefully he felt a bit of shame having to go ask.
"Yeah, ok." He uttered out, pushing himself from the ground and turning away from the couple. Hidan wrapped her in his arms, her face pressing into his chest. His heart was still beating irregularly, but she couldn't find it in her to heal him either. Instead opting to cry a bit. She knew people didn't understand her decision, and the fact that they worried for her was sweet, but it hurt to think people she had spent her whole life with would respect her choices so little. At lest when Naruto, Sasuke, and Zabuza attempted to spy on her date, they realized it would be ok and allowed her to make her own choices. And after Ino and Kiba spoke with her, they changed their tune too. The idea that they think he'd hurt her is laughable. They've all seen how obviously he declares his adoration for her, how many years he's pined over her. She hoped that would be enough. Maybe she needed to deal with everything head on. She loved hidan and they could either get on board or shut the fuck up.
Hinata did just that. Over the next month, she talked with everyone she knew and loved, giving a variation of 'I love you and I'm in love with Hidan. Whether you agree or not doesn't matter, you can either support me or keep your mouth shut. If you have nothing nice to say don't fucking say it.' It resulted positively for the most part, after a wile of heartbreak Naruto and Sasuke were willing to be around them and not hate it, mostly everyone else was resigned, Kakashi was downright amused, Hanabi was ecstatic, her father was relatively ok, and Deidara, well he deserted the village in rage. So overall, it went well enough.
Hinata and Hidan never got married, it seemed unnecessary. They loved one another and that's all that mattered. They did however end up having an unplanned pregnancy, Hinata giving birth to a daughter, then a son a year later. Hidan stayed Hidan, and they managed to make it work, both completely and utterly in love.
A/N: Guys I really hope I did this ending justice. I was shocked and very happy to find out that so many of you liked hidan and Hinata enough to want their ending so soon. Which is good because kakashi is my fav character but Hidan and Hinata have my favorite relationship dynamic, its always so fun to write. I hope you enjoy and are doing well and are healthy and happy. Next up is going to be an Uchiha, or naruto, or shika. Gonna decide soon. Much love!
