God, It was bright. My eyes slowly blinkered open at first my eyesight was foggy and it was like there was a blue mist over them but then that clear and the skylight came into focus. I sat up.

"Huh?" This wasn't where Jane and I were. I stood up and made my way out, I saw police cars, Jane and Darcy. They saw me.

"Reign! Where the hell were you?" Jane showed as the two ran over

"Tell me you didn't call the police." I huffed

"What we supposed to do, you just disappeared right in front of me." she fretted, this would get out of hand, why do things always seem to get out of hand? Was it a natural thing around me thanks to my father now?

"Not call the police."

"I freaked out. Jane was too." Darcy added. It started to rain.

"You call the cops then the call the FEDs next thing you know Sheild is taking your research again and my Dad comes down here fussing over me like I'm five years old."

"Reign."

"Something cool is happening and you had unlimited access. Actually we still do since I own this land."

"Reign, you were gone for five hours!" Jane yelled at me. My eyebrows furrowed.

"What? No that's impossible I would...." I noticed that Neither, Jane, Darcy or I were getting we but the police officers were getting different jackets out.

"That's weird." Darcy stated as I held out my hand. I looked around and that's when I saw him. He was back. I handed Jane her equipment back and ran over.

"Reign." I stopped.

"You're back." I breathed having a airy smile. I then shoved him. "Sorry just making sure you're here and it's not the minds eye thing. Why are you here? Not that I'm not happy it's just, well I haven't heard from you in a while."

"Where were you? Heimdal; could not see you?"

"What do you mean I've been here for months since the whole EXTREMIS thing. How are you even here? I thought the biforst was still broken."

"It was, it's been repaired. The nine realms erupted into chaos. Wars were rain, marauders were pillaging. I had to put an end to the slaughter."

"But you're okay? The warriors 3 and Lady Sif?" he smiled softly and nodded "Well, okay then."

"Reign, I fought to protect you from the dangers of my world. But I believe fate has brought us together again." he held my cheek in his hand

"I thought it already had." I mumbled

"Reign, I don't know where you were, or what happened, but I do know this..." he trailed off

"Know what." I kept glancing down at his lips

"I.." I reached up.

"Hey, is this you?" Darcy questioned breaking the moment. We looked up to the sky then it suddenly just stopped.

"Darcy we were kind of in the middle of something here." I clear my throat

"Well, I'm pretty sure we're getting arrested."

"Excuse me." I ran over to where Jane was talking to the officer.

"Hello."

"Are you Reign Stark?" he questioned me.

"Yeah and this is my property, so neither my friends or I are trespassing." I replied folding my arms.

"You still need to answer some questions to please come with me." He went to take my arm but something exploded and I was sent flying backwards. I groaned

"Reign. Reign?" I head Thor

"Thor? What Happened ?" he helped me to stand up. Darcy was helping Jane.

"Place your hands on your your heads. Step back." The officer replied

"This woman is unwell." Thor told them and I rubbed my head

"She's dangerous"

"So am I." he retorted..

"Requesting armed response officers to my..." I turned my attention to Thor who pulled me in closer to him.

"Hold on to me." I did so

"What are you doing?" i questioned. I felt the breath taken out of be as we were lifted up. I opened my eyes colours of the rainbow with what I thought looked like starts rushed past. as I was taken away. I saw a bright light and we were twisted upright so we walked out and into a different place.

"That was so cool, We have to do that again." I laughed but stopped seeing a intimidating guy in gold armour.

"Welcome to Asgard." he greeted

"Your Heimdall, the one that watches over me." I guessed. He nodded and bowed his head

"I am and you are the future Queen."

"Come, Reign." Thor pulled me towards him again. Then sped us away. I watched as we flew over the buildings and the streets of the city, till upheld the shining golden castle. It was breath taking. We landed, Thor took my hand and escorted me to a room full of women.

"Healers, I ask for your help." The guided me to lay down and started their examination.

"What's that?" I asked pointing to the strings of orange light.

"Please be still." one of the healers told me and a copy of my body flowed above me. This was so cool, I couldn't want to tell Dad about this and Jane.

"Is this a quantum field generator?" I wonder. I had briefly touched upon the subject. I was no where near Jane's knowledge but I wasn't complexity obvious to the line of science.

"It's a soul forge."

"Does a soul forge transfer molecular energy from one place to another?" she looked down at me shocked.

"Yes."

"Quantum field Generator." I told Thor who smiled at me.

"My words are mere noises to you that you ignore them completely." I domineering voice spoke. Uh-oh someone's in trouble.

"She's ill." Thor replied

"She's mortal. Illness is their defining trait." The healers stepped away and I watched the scene unfold the man came into the light he was a lot visibly older than Thor despite the fact I knew Thor was like 1,500 years old. He had an eye patch. Oh this must be Odin, Thor's Father

"I brought her here because we can help."

"She does not belong here on Asgard anymore that a goat belongs at a banquet table." he retorted to his son. I sat up.

"Did he just? Look, Odin. Yeah I know who you are. What's your problem the fact that your son has a soul mate who is not from Asgard, get a clue dude you've known that for a while now."

"You have a lot of character for someone who knows who they're speaking to."

"I've squared up to guys bigger than you and with a lot of fire power. It will take a lot to scare me off." I stared him down.

"Something is within her father. Something I have not seen her before." Thor tries to reason with him.

"Her world has it's healers they're called doctors let them deal with it. Guards take her back to Midgard." The came to take me

"No I would do that." I felt sleepy again and laid down.

"Reign, are you alright?" Thor questioned and I hummed. I felt my arm being pulled out and Odin passed his hand over my arm.

"That's impossible." He muttered

"The infection, it's defending her." The healer from earlier suggested.

"No, it's defending itself." Thor replied

"Come with me." I sat up and slipped off the table. Thor took my hand as we followed Odin.

"There are relic that predate the universe itself. What lies within her appears to be one of them." We entered a room that has a roof like parts of the galaxy "The nine realms are not eternal. They had a dawn as they will have a dusk." he opened a book.

"Before that dawn the dark forces, the dark Elves reigned absolute and unchallenged"

"Born of eternal night the dark elves come to steal away the light. I know these stories, mother told them to us as children." We both looked over the book that Odin had opened

"Their leader Malekith made a weapon out of that darkness and it was called the Aether. While the other relics often appear as stones the Aether is fluid and ever changing. It changes matter into dark matter. It seeks out host bodies drawing strength from their life force. Malekith sought to use the Aether's power to return the universe to one of darkness. But after eternities of bloodshed, My father Bor finally triumphed ushering a peace that lasted thousands of years."

"So what happened to them?"

"He killed them all." Odin answered

"Are you certain? The Aether was said to have been destroyed with them, and yet here it is." I shared a look with Thor as he challenged his Dad.

"The Dark Elves are dead." Odin stated

"Does your book happen to mention how to get it out of me?" I question

"No, it does not." he turned and walked away.

"Just great. I beginning to think I'm a magnet for trouble."
