Do not start a single word of any of the following chapters if you have not read it, or you will be spoiled. Big time. Those of you who have waited for this sequel know what I'm talking about.

*Miguel Starfall, whose family traditionally rules Meteor Falls, engineered a coup de 'tat that overthrew the long-held Brightflame regime during the early stages of the Second Great War. He is holding Carson Brightflame, younger rightful heir of the regime, captive in order to secure the loyalty of the tribes that are loyal to the Brightflames.*

Central Mauville Alliance

Capital: Mauville

Current Ruler: Marcus Spark and his Manectric

Second in line: Sarah Spark, daughter of Marcus, and her Manectric

*Marcus Spark's plan of a peace-time marriage between his daughter, Sarah, and Chris Marsh of the Slateport Kingdom was put on hold when the Brightflames invaded his lands. This was the trigger of the Second Great War.*

*For hundreds of years up until the Second Great War, the Marshes and their Swamperts have ruled the Slateport Kingdom its seas. However, with the death of King Sam Marsh during the First Great War, and the tragic deaths of Lily and Chris during the Second, the Sandstone Throne of Slateport passed to Luna Love, King Sam's wife, from Oldale Town. Luna is currently held hostage by the Sootopolis Empire.

Sootopolis Empire

Current Ruler: Myranda Glamour and her Milotic

Second in Line: Ahab, the illegitimate half-brother of Myranda, and his Gyarados.

*The Glamour Empress, as she is known, disposed of her own father and came into power in her own right. During her reign, she accomplished a successful rebellion against the Slateport Kingdom and establishing the Sootopolis Empire during the First Great War. She arranged for the death of Lily Marsh and the capture of her mother, Luna Love.*

Loyal Tribes: Lilycove and Pacifidlog

Fortree Kingdom

Capital: Fortree

Current Ruler: David Forrest and his Sceptile

Second in Line: Solomon Forrest and his Sceptile

*David Forrest kept his family and all his kingdom out of the First Great War. However, scholars and historians now believe that his family had a more active role in the Second.*

The Forsaken Islands

Mossdeep and Ever Grande

*Once part of the Slateport Kingdom, they are now cut off and isolated due to the rise of the Sootopolis Empire. Blockaded from each other and the rest of Hoenn for five years by the Glamour Empress's navies, their economy and strength has been crippled.*
