1: Abhira Sharma.
Warning: This Chapter Is Unedited!!!
Note: A not so good chapter.
Midst the flurry of colors and various flowers, Abhira stood, her heart fluttering in her chest like a caged bird. She twirled around, the white Anarkali she wore swirled around her, the gentle breeze weaving through the garden made her hair flutter and kissed her cheeks softly.
The scent of various flowers wafted into her nose, causing her heart to skip a beat and she turned feeling a gentle caress over her fingers from behind.
She lifted her lashes to stare ahead and her feet, as if having a mind of their own, carried her forward, her heart skipping like stone across water and she felt a sprinkle of drizzle and helted in her tracks.
She closed her eyes feeling the drizzle. A storm rolled over and she shut her eyes, the drizzle faded, giving way to a thunderstorm. The droplets made her blink rapidly and she wrapped her dupatta around herself, clutching it tightly around her shoulders trying to shield herself from the storm and rushed forward almost blindly and stumbled over, her heartbeat stopped and her breath hitched and her hand hit a wooden door. She breathed stabling herself, her legs still felt a little unsteady beneath her and she struggled, attempting to regulate her breathing, her eyes slid shut, her face flushed from the cold. She stared up at the swirling stormy clouds still blinking her eyes rapidly. She breathed, her eyes covered with her palm and heard the faint sound of door creaking open.
Come.
The voice was faint in her ears and she felt a warm hand grasping her wrist, the sudden warmth made her shiver and she was pulled inside, the door clicked shut behind her.
She lifted her eyes, droplets of water clinging to her lashes as she stared ahead, the room was dark, save for a single candle held aloft. She stared at the candle for a moment before lifting her lashes. She stared ahead, a gasp escaped her lips and she felt dazed, her heart raced, it's frenetic beats echoing in her ears as she stared into the familiar gorgeous black orbs.
She stepped forward, her lips trembling, her legs felt unsteady beneath her as she raised her hand, the familiar black orbs took a shade of muted gold because of the candlelight and she paused, her hand helting in middle, the longing that shimmered in her eyes was overwhelming, she swallowed the lump that formed in her throat. The eyes slid shut under her touch as she caressed tenderly, her fingers trembling slightly as they brushed over the lashes.
I missed you.
Di!!!!
The semi yell jolted her and she stirred awake, her eyes fluttering open and jolted forward staring at the side.
Kya?
Abhira asked, her voice caressed with sleep, the book held tightly to her chest as she stared ahead, a mixture of anger and sleep swirling in her eyes.
Aap phir book parte parte so gaye.
Mishti, Abhira,s younger sister spoke, her voice tinged with disbelief.
Abhira stared at Mishti, blinking her eyes and then looked down, at the book clutched against her chest.
She heaved out a breath and stood on her feet. She tied her hair up in a bun and looked up mischievously.
Kya soch rahi hain aap?
Mishti asked, her voice laced with a mixture of curiosity and alarm.
Abhira shook her head sideways and clicked her tongue.
Yehi ke iss shadi ko kaise roka jaye.
Abhira said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Mishti frowned feeling a twinge of discomfort.
Kiski shadi?
Mishti asked stepping forward, curiously.
Abhira turned, her Shalwar kameez flowing around her by the gentle breeze of the fan that swirled above.
Abhira winked.
Mishti slapped a hand on her forehead.
Phir se mazak.
Mishti said in disbelief.
Abhira stared at her moving to the stand, with the book in hand and placed it over the stand.
Aap ajeeb hain bahot.
Abhira laughed at Mishti,s comment, her eyes twinkling.
Thanks for the compliment.
Abhira said leaving the room. She moved to the kitchen.
The time passed by and soon evening rolled over, the moon was a watchful guardian over the city that was still moving.
Inside the Sharma house, the house was alive with the lively chatter of her uncle and aunt, the clicking of dishes echoed through the kitchen as Abhira moved with the steaming dishes in her hands.
Abhira wiped the sweat off her forehead with her dupatta and moved to the dinning table.
Abhira moved, her movements practiced as she placed a steaming dish over the table.
Chachi ji.
Abhira called out, her voice tender.
Beena looked up at Abhira expressionlessly toying with the fork in her plate.
Abhira smiled, despite her exhaustion, her eyes reflecting a mixture of achievement and tenderness as she spoke
I made your favorite dish. Aloo Tiki.
Abhira served her chachi the food and Beena barely glanced at the dish before replying in a curt tone
Sahi hai
Abhira,s smile faltered and hurt flickered in her eyes before she quickly masked it and served her food.
Beena glanced at her daughter Mishti and let out a soft smile.
Mishti itna kam Kyun le rahi hai tu?
Beena asked with a soft smile and she moved holding onto the dish and serving her a generous portion of vegetables.
Nahin maa.
Mishti spoke softly and glanced at the aloo tiki with sparkling eyes.
Mujhe aloo tiki khani hai.
Mishti said softly and Beena,s smile faltered before she masked it, a flicker of anger crossing her face and served her daughter.
It's so yummy.
Mishti said licking her fingers. Abhira smiled lifting her lashes and looked at Mishti softly.
It was just introduction.
