Rehana POV

The bottle stopped, aiming at Abhinandan this time.

"Finally," Agastya said, straightening up a little, and looked at him.

"So, is it truth or dare? Maharaj Abhinandan," Agastya asked. I was physically still in the game, but my mind was still stuck on his words.

He called me 'moon'.

How beautiful!

Was my smile really that beautiful?

But why did he say that he read it somewhere?

And, if he had read it somewhere, he said those words looking into my eyes. I could still feel his gaze on me. And, suddenly, he laughed over something.

I could not look away from him.

"Dare," Abhinandan stated, and Agastya rolled his eyes.

"Scared!" I heard Agastya's faded voice.

The way Jaan-e-Jahan's lips lifted up into a beautiful smile, I could not help but notice the deep dimples right above the tips of his lips.

He is beautiful.

How could a man look so handsome and attractive one moment and so cold like mountains covered in layers of snow another moment?

For some reason, he was confusing me.

Who was he in real?

"Not scared, but I am daring," I heard Abhinandan's voice and Agastya replied.

"Alright, I dare you to tell us about when you fell for Trisha Jiji?" he asked, and suddenly Ranvijay's voice caught my attention.

"That's a simple dare. Everyone knows he fell for her the first he visited Gurukul," he said and looked at Abhinandan.

"I dare you to tell—"

"I dare you to kiss Rudra," suddenly, Haider interrupted, and our eyes widened with shock.

"What??" Abhinandan's eyes came out of the socket, and he glared at him. "Are you out of your mind?" he asked, shaking his head.

"I will eat mud rather than put my lips on this man," he glared, and Rudra also shook his head.

"No, I am so much into Nandani, I cannot ever cheat," he said, and Nandani burst into laughter.

"Well, that's a nice dare, Haider Miyan," Agastya praised him.

"I agree; considering your hatred towards each other, this can be a new beginning of the friendship," Aahil added, and I chuckled.

I did not know what that was about.

"You have to do it," Ranvijay also added, and I noticed all the ladies laughing.

"I will not," Abhinandan said, and even Rudra shook his head, hiding behind his wife.

"I will need to take a bath for a month, urghhh," he acted, and we all laughed.

I could feel my heart beating so wild with all the laughter, but we all cheered in unity.

"Kiss,"

"Kiss,"

"Kiss,"

"Kiss,"

"Kiss,"

"Kiss,"

"Kiss,"

"Kiss,"

"Kiss,"

"Kiss,"

"Fineeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! Urghhhhh," Abhinandan said, and suddenly Rudra stood up from his place and looked at Abhinandan.

"Do you not dare to even touch my body," he said, and I rolled laughing on the floor. Even Jaan-e-Jahan laughed. We all went insane.

"Kiss!" Agastya screamed.

"Kiss!!!!!!" Ranvijay hooted.

"Come on, Rurdum, you can do it," Haider cheered him up.

"Come on, man, it's just a kiss," Aahil said.

"Why don't you get it? then?" Rudra asked, and Aahil burst into laughter, almost rolling back on the floor.

Abhinandan tried to take a step closer to him, but Rudra took a few steps back.

"Well, I guess this is your punishment for tricking my sister," Abhinandan said, and Nandani laughed louder.

"Your sister was not a child. She seduced me!" Rudra said with a crying voice, trying to hide himself behind a couch.

"Shut up! Rudra," Nandani said to him, and suddenly Agastya stood up from his place and immediately ran towards Rudra.

And, the way he held his hand behind, Rudra immediately glared at him.

"Don't you dare, Agastya, I will kill you," he threatened him, but Agastya kept a strong hold on his hands as Abhinandan rubbed his hands together while approaching.

"HEHEHHEHEHEHE!!!" Abhinandan's laughter made my stomach hurt badly with the pain.

We all burst into laughter at the way Rudra shook his head.

I had never laughed this much in my whole life. I loved it.

We all were rolling on the floor, and Abhinandan smoothly reached Rudra and held his cheeks in his hands. Rudra closed his eyes shut, and Agastya laughed even harder.

The way Abhinandan leaned in closer to his face, I could not help but feel something in my stomach. For a moment, everyone fell silent, wondering what would happen next.

Then, suddenly, Abhinandan turned his face sidewards and pecked on his cheek.

"Urghhhhh, I hate you, Abhi," Rudra growled, and we all laughed.

"Now, you must remember this kiss every time you kiss my sister," he said, and I laughed out loud.

"Awwww, that's so sweet, but you had to kiss on the lips," Nandani said, and Abhinandan slapped playfully on the back of her head.

"Shut up!" he said, and she laughed.

I hoped I had siblings like them, too.

Rudra seemed traumatized after the kiss. His voice was lost, and he just lay on the floor without even moving.

"I hate you all so much," he finally said, the pain visible in his tone, and I looked at Abhinandan sitting down back in his place with a wide smile on his face.

He grabbed the bottle, and Agastya also returned to the place, his feet light on the floor, anticipating the attack from Rudra, if there would be any.

"I am not playing anymore," Rudra declared, finally sitting up, and Nandani replied.

"That's not an option. Come back here; do not spoil the fun," she said, and Rudra rolled his eyes, laying back on the floor and placing his hand on his chest.

"So, let's see whose turn it is," Abhinandan spun the bottle, and this time it stopped at Haider.

His eyes widened.

"Oh, my God! This is me," he screamed with joy, and I chuckled, looking at him.

"So, Haider, is it truth or dare?" Jaan-e-Jahan asked him, and I noticed Rudra finally moving from his place and sitting back beside Nandani.

"I will teach him how to call my name correctly," he spoke, and I chuckled.

"Um, Dare," he said, paying no attention to Rudra's words, and Aahil teased him.

"Daring, we are,"

"Of course," Haider showed his proud smile, and suddenly, Aahil grabbed a cloth and walked towards him.

"Alright," he said, sitting behind him and blindfolding him with the cloth.

"The moment you touch any of us, you will win or keep finding any of us for the whole night," Aahil finished. I noticed the sudden havoc in the chamber. Everyone stood up from their places and ran to hide.

And, being the stupid one, he kept staring at Aahil, tying the cloth around his eyes.

Suddenly, Haider jumped in Jaan-e-Jahan's direction, and he immediately shifted back, making Haider fall on his face.

Jaan-e-Jahan laughed out loud.

"Urgh, Bhaijaan," Haider growled, and I noticed everyone was gone within a few moments. Rudra Nandani hid behind a pillar while Aahil grabbed Ruhani's hand and ran towards the bed.

I did not know where Ranvijay, Agastya, and Abhinandan went. I did not even notice them.

What the hell was happening?

Even Ghazal ran from here to hide.

Haider tried to stand up, and I noticed that everyone was gone.

I immediately raked my eyes around, and my eyes widened with shock.

I could not see anyone.

What the hell?

"HEHEHEHEEHEHHEH!!!! Bhabhijaan," he called me out, and I immediately looked at him.

I tried to crawl away from him. I did not want to get caught, but this heavy attire felt like a mountain to lift.

And, these stupid jewellery, they all tickled.

And, the way Haider stood on his feet, spreading his arms wide, hoping to catch me, I felt a wave of fear.

Where was Jaan-e-Jahan?

Haider took a step closer to me as I stood up on my feet and moved my eyes around to find someone.

And suddenly, I noticed his hand just a foot away from me.

"I am going to catch you," he threatened me, and I stumbled back, feeling the genuine fear run through my body.

I did not want to lose, even in a game.

And suddenly, I felt an arm around my waist, and my feet lifted off the ground. The swirl of my dress waved like the water flowing off the fountain, and my jewelry tickled like the tiny little bells of a new bride when she stepped down the bed after spending a loving night with her husband like I wanted to.

But, a wave of panic engrossed me as the hand felt like a stone grip, something too strong against my soft body, and before I could react with a loud scream, I was placed down behind a pillar and noticed Jaan-e-Jahan placing a finger on my lips.

"Shhhh!" He quickly hushed me down.

Oh my goodness!

My heart just came into my mouth.

How could his hand be so strong? My heart stomped loudly in my chest, willing to jump out right into my hands.

My eyes could not believe it.

He lifted me and walked here like that.

Just like that. My hair alone weighed like a kilogram.

His eyes met mine for a mere moment as he placed his arm over my head against the pillar. His chest suddenly felt even wider.

Was he playing with me?

Because I suddenly felt so small, between him and the pillar, behind the dark curtains, and with almost no light around us.

He looked away, slowly hooking the fingers of his other hand on the hem of the curtain. The moment he gently pulled it aside a little and leaned sidewards against it to peep, I noticed the flicker of candlelight casting a glow on the half of his face.

His one eye glowed like a diamond in the sun, and the other twinkled like a pearl in the moonlight.

"Rehman Bhaijaan," Haider called out from the middle of the chamber, and Jaan-e-Jahan immediately straightened up, leaving the curtain, and chuckled softly.

The way his lips curved into a playful smile, I could not help but smile, staring at him.

"Kaha reh gayi thi aap?"

"Where did you get behind?" he asked in a soft whisper, and I gulped, noticing the slight moonlight peeping in through the tiny holes in the upper half of the walls. It danced on us, and I felt it drawing circles on my face, especially over my lips, cheeks, and one eye, as my husband protected the other half of my face.

He might have noticed it as he gently moved a little closer, blocking all of it. The smile had vanished off his face.

"Hum kaha rahenge, hum to aap ki parchayi, jaha jaha aap, vaha vaha hum,"

"Where will I stay? I am like your shadow; wherever you go, there I am," I replied, feeling the effect of his mild fragrance wrapping me how his arms used to wrap me in my dreams.

Suddenly, I felt a tiny smirk on his face, and he stepped a little closer to me. I felt even smaller, and the way his arm was placed against the pillar over my head, I could not help but feel intimidated.

"Acha?"

"Really?" he asked in a low, teasing voice. The way his deep whisper tickled against my skin like a butterfly made me blush.

Though, I kept staring into his eyes and nodded.

He chuckled and whispered, leaning in a little closer to my face.

"Itni mohobbat karti hai humse?"

"You love me that much?" his deep voice made me gulp, and I just nodded confidently.

"Aahil Miyan," I heard Haider's now faded voice. But with the magic of his fanning breaths over my face, I could not help but shrink into him, ignoring the game like the world ignored me.

Taking a step closer, I wrapped my arms gently around him and placed my forehead over his chest, closing my eyes.

"Hume apna lijiye Jaan-e-Jahan, hume aapki jimmedaari nahi banna, hume aapki mohobbat ki aarzoo hai,"

"Make me as your own, Jaan-e-Jahan. I do not want to be your responsibility; I desire your love," I whispered against his chest and clutched my fingers on his overcoat, soaking into his moving presence.

He stayed still for the next few moments, and I stepped closer, erasing the remaining distance between us when he did not offend.

I wanted this.

The noise of the world calmed before me, having the end of the longing, the touch, the hug that I desired for all my life.

Finally, the moment I craved deeply walked towards me as he gently wrapped his arm around my waist. His long fingers spread over the side of my curves, the tips unknowingly reaching the borders of my hips. And, the way he caressed the part that had never been touched before, a tiny smile appeared on my face, quenching the thirst of years.

I did not want to step back, not now, and would not ever.

My eyes filled with tears as he placed his other hand on my head around my head as well. His palm pressed gently against my veiled ear and caressed me.

"Hum kaha bhaage ja rahe hai?"

"Where am I running to?" he asked in a soft whisper, and I let out a deep, comforting sigh as I drowned deep into the warm ocean of his arms.

My longing was not always for his touch but for his presence like this.

Stable, warm, and protective.

"Hey," he breathed slowly over my forehead, and I pulled back slowly to look into his eyes. The way his lips looked, I felt inevitably invited towards them.

I had thought of kissing them about a million times, and I had craved to do it almost every day.

Wanting to go even closer to them, I shifted my weight over my toes. My breaths turned uneven and heavy, making it impossible for my heart to calm down.

And, the moment I lifted myself up, his loose fingers on my back glided down.

There was a flicker of realization in his eyes of his hand placement. But, it only lasted for a moment before something else, something unexplainable, took charge.

His gaze intensified.

Or maybe, finding me comfortable with his hand on any corner of my body, he let it sit across my right hip.

But I could not deny that his fingers' warmth lit my skin as fire, igniting the long-buried emotions and leaving me with nothing but to give into my needs and step up on his feet to reach his lips.

He inhaled deeply, gulping invisibly. Knowing that I was hanging through the fragile parts of my body—my toes, my curled fingers behind him, on his overcoat—he let the strength flow in his palm.

His touch did not change, but I knew his hand would come into action if I fell.

Suddenly, he took a step ahead, and my back pressed against the pillar. I immediately pulled my hand back from his back and placed it on his shoulder with a slight fear.

The dupatta slipped down my head, and I tilted my face back when he leaned in closer to my lips.

My breath hitched, and he breathed over my face.

"Aag se khelne ka shauk hai aapko,"

"You have a habit of playing with fire," his words send a deep shiver into my body, fading into my spine. But, another part of it charged something in me that I just nodded.

"Jal ke khaakh hone ka hunar bhi hai, aazma ke dekh lijiye,"

"I also possess the skill to be burned to ashes; you can try," I whispered back. Suddenly, I felt the faded noise of walking and laughter, but I was too involved in it to pay any attention to it.

He inhaled a sharp breath as my lips mistakenly touched his for a moment. His eyes stared into mine for a moment. There was a shade of question in his expression before he leaned his face slowly into the corner of my neck.

I felt goosebumps on my body as his pointy nose brushed against my cheek, reaching below my ear, and gently pushed the heavy earring back, before he pressed his lips there.

The place where I applied that fragrance.

My eyes closed, and I tried to pull my shoulder up, unable to digest the flutter of thousands of butterflies, but suddenly the touch ended. He pulled back.

My eyes stared into his eyes with confusion, longing for more. I could hardly feel anything.

Licking his lips with a quick movement, he asked in a very low whisper. He seemed out of breath.

"Khush?"

"Happy?"

I felt too stunned by everything that just happened.

Did he just kiss me on my neck?

I immediately brought my fingers to my neck, and he quickly held my hand, silencing my bangles and hushing me down.

"Shhh, Begum," his soft whisper brought goosebumps to my face.

I gulped, lowering my gaze, and suddenly I tripped, losing my balance, but his hand did not move an inch, holding me right there.

"Aap to bass chingari se dhuan ho gayi, jalengi kese?"

"You turned to smoke with a mere spark; how will you burn?" his whisper flushed my cheeks as if I was standing naked before him.
