Jason's POV

"He's coming to..." Dick says relieved and I open my eyes to see I'm handcuffed to a hospital bed. Jaime and Bart are in here too.

I take one look at Dick's concerned face and I close my eyes again, purely because I feel groggy and it's more comfortable like that. "How pissed is he?" I ask Dick chuckles.

"He's pretty pissed." He starts, "and you aren't getting locked up..." He trails off.

"You say it like its a bad thing, you hurt my feelings." I say sarcastically.

"Well considering what he's making you do after you recover-"

"What?" I ask inpatient already.

"He's making you join the team." He says and I sit up.

"No fucking way." I say standing up about to walk out but the handcuffs stop me. I tug at them but they're the ones that are made to keep metahumans restrained. I look up at Dick, "I'm not joining the team."

"You don't have a choice and until you agree to cooperate we have to keep you restrained and guard you and if you get out we'll-"

I kick him in the stomach and he coughs then looks at me, "When I get out I'm going to jab that surgical knife into your neck." I threaten and Bart packs away anything I could use as a weapon because he knows I'll attack, unlike any of the team I don't have any rules and there are no lines I can cross meaning I can hurt or even kill if I want to.

"Look Jason please don't take this personally at the end of the day you count as a highly dangerous criminal and you have to be restrained, you're starting to get better but we can't let you go until we know we can trust you and the team it the only way we can do that, join the team and prove you're stable we can let you go." Dick explains and I narrow my eyes looking down at my handcuffs.

"Fine, just get me out." I say looking at the floor keeping my anger inside of me. If I have any chance of getting out of here I need to be on their side, I can't be on both sides anymore, as of now I'm part of the team.
