"Okay Rez, you be good for Lance. We'll be back in a few hours." You said as you dropped Rez off at the room Lance was staying in.

"I will." Rez said, hugging you.

"Relax Y/n, he's in good hands. Besides, my niece and nephew will make him feel welcome." Lance said, glancing back at the two kids who were watching tv on the floor.

"Thanks again for taking him for the day." You said, smiling at him before leaving.

Lance smiled back as he invited Rez into his temporary room. Lance's niece and nephew immediately invited Rez to watch some cartoons with them while Lance sat on the couch and picked up his iPad so that he could read the news. Today you were going to get a wedding gown and Shay, Krolia, Acxa, Ilun and Pidge were going with you. The six of you took the subway to the closest city and got off at the stop nearest to David's Bridal. Before you knew it you were surrounded by wedding gowns.

"These are all so beautiful!" Shay said as she looked at the fluffy gowns on the mannequins.

"There are so many choices." Acxa said, walking over to an aisle with dark colored wedding gowns.

You browsed around for a while, looking at all the different wedding gowns that were in your size. As you looked at all the different wedding gowns you noticed Krolia gazing at a beautiful white and pale lilac wedding gown with longing. You realized that she would have most likely wanted that as her wedding gown if she had the chance to marry Tex. You felt a pang of sadness for her, knowing that she would never get to marry the man she truly loved.

"This one looks nice." Ilun said, walking over to you while gently holding a long white and blue wedding gown that was just your size.

"It's perfect." You said, your E/c eyes practically shining as you looked at it.

Shay, Krolia, Acxa and Pidge gathered near the dressing rooms while Ilun helped you put the long gown on. It took a while for you to get the gown on after taking off your shirt and pants/skirt. It fit your form perfectly, which made you happy.

"Well?" You asked as you and Ilun stepped out of the dressing room after several minutes.

"That actually looks really pretty." Pidge said, looking up from her phone.

"You look just like a fairytale princess." Shay gushed.

"It's perfect." Krolia said, smiling fondly at you.

"It's long." Acxa said, not sure of what else to say.

"I saw the dress Ilun chose and I think I found the perfect veil to go with your dress." Krolia said, handing you a beautiful long veil.

"It's perfect." You quietly gasped.

You went back into the dressing room with Ilun so that she could help you carefully take the wedding gown off. Once you had your regular clothes back on you all went to the front counter to purchase the gown and veil with the credit card you were given by the Garrison. The young lady behind the counter put your gown and veil in a gown bag and gave it to you. Shay offered to hold the gown bag since it was a bit heavy. Afterwards, the six of you went to go have lunch together somewhere.

When you left the Garrison you thought Regris was just going to hang out with Keith and spar in the training room or something, but you were wrong. Instead, as soon as you, Krolia, Acxa, Ilun, Shay and Pidge were gone he, Keith, Antok and Shiro went out on the next subway train to go look at rings. Before they left Curtis took Regris' measurements so that he could order a custom made tux.

"There are so many choices." Regris said as he looked at all the engagement rings in the display case and the jewelers.

"I know. I had the same problem when I was looking for a ring for Acxa." Keith said, standing next to his friend.

Antok was helping by looking at the different engagement rings while Shiro gave the jeweler you and Regris' ring finger sizes so that custom wedding rings could be made. After several minutes Regris finally saw the perfect engagement ring. He waited by the display case until the jeweler was finished typing the wedding ring sizes on his computer.

"May I have this one?" Regris asked the jeweler, pointing to the ring he knew you wouldn't be able to say no to.

"Of course." The jeweler said, unlocking the display case and taking the engagement ring and its box out.

Regris followed the jeweler to the counter while the jeweler typed a few things on his cash register. Regris used the credit card the Garrison gave him to pay for the engagement ring and the two wedding rings that would be ready in a week. After the rings were all paid for, Regris, Keith, Shiro and Antok went back to the Garrison so that you wouldn't suspect anything.

When evening came you and Regris had dinner with everyone else as usual. Rez told you both all about his day and how he made two new friends. After dinner and dessert and after you and Regris put Rez to bed you both went out to take a walk in the desert. The moon was full and shining down and the sky was full of stars. It wasn't quite fully dark out yet, but the moon and the stars were out.

As you both walked together Regris held one of your hands with one of his. You couldn't help but think about everything that had happened ever since you first met him; all the things you both went through together and the life you had with him. Regris was super nervous to propose to you, but after the pep talk Antok gave him he wasn't so nervous that he was going to pass out. When Regris let go of your hand and stopped walking you stopped walking too and turned to face him.

"Hey, are you okay?" You softly asked him.

"Yes. Y/n, can I ask you something?" Regris nervously asked you.

"Of course." You said, softly gazing up into his yellow eyes.

Regris took a deep breath, and then another, before kneeling down in front of you and reaching into one of his pockets. When he pulled out a small velvet box and opened it towards you, you covered your mouth with both of your hands and felt tears threatening to fall from your eyes.

"Y/n, you mean more to me than life itself. For many years I believed that no one could ever love a hybrid like me because of my looks alone, but you've proven me wrong. Y/n, you're my one and only true love; the one who holds my heart. I can't bear to live my life without you by my side for now and always. Y/n, will you marry me?" Regris asked with emotion, looking up at you with big, round golden yellow eyes.

"I will. I will marry you!" You said, crying as you accepted his proposal.

Regris took the beautiful engagement ring out of its box as you offered him your left/right hand. He carefully put the engagement ring on your ring finger, put the box back in his pocket and stood up. He picked you up, allowing you to wrap your legs around his waist, as he held you up and kissed you. You wrapped your arms around his neck and passionately kissed him. The sky was now fully dark, but it was quickly lit up from a meteor shower.

You both just stayed there, passionately kissing each other. Regris felt better now that he finally proposed to you. Neither of you could wait to finally get married. The meteor shower only made his proposal and the night more magical.
