As soon as you woke up you remembered what day it was. Now that you were mated to Regris you couldn't wait to celebrate Valentine's day. You got up early so that you could make breakfast. You decided to make heart shaped pancakes for breakfast. Once they were finished you got a few other things and put them on a tray. 

You had to be careful as you made your way back to the bedroom. You hadn't told Regris about Valentine's day yet, so this would be a nice surprise. As you entered the room you saw that Regris was finally waking up.

"Good morning Reg. Did you sleep well?" You asked cheerfully as you walked over to the bed, got on and placed the tray in the middle of the bed.

"What's all this?" Regris asked you curiously as he looked at the breakfast for two that you made.

"It's Valentine's day." You replied, a smile on your face.

"What is Valentime's day?" Regris asked you, his head tilted to one side a little.

"It's Valentine's day. It's a holiday where people show affection for their significant other." You told him.

"I see. And this breakfast is a part of celebrating?" Regris asked you.

"Yes, it is. Since we're mated now we can celebrate it together." You said happily as you started eating a heart shaped pancake.

"Well, in that case. Happy Valentine's day." Regris said as he picked up a fork and started eating.

You smiled, happy that you finally had someone to celebrate Valentine's day with. Regris hummed in satisfaction as he tasted the pancake coated with syrup.
