For the third time that night Rez woke up crying again. You and Regris groaned as you both woke up again. From the smell you smelled Rez needed his diaper changed.

"It's your turn." You mumbled.

"I thought it was yours." Regris said groggily.

"I fed him, so you change him." You said, laying back down.

Rez quieted down a little when Regris picked him up. Regris took Rez over to the changing table and put him on it. Regris was exhausted, but he wanted you to get some rest. He got a new diaper, a few wipes and some baby powder and changed Rez as quickly as he could. Once he was finished he sanitized his hands and took Rez back to bed.

"Now, no more waking me and your mother up, okay?" Regris quietly asked Rez.

Rez yawned and looked up at his father. Regris waited for Rez to fall asleep before he too fell asleep. Thankfully, Rez slept for the rest of the night, which was just early morning.

"Y/n, I have a question." Regris called from the living room where he was sitting on the couch with Rez.

"What?" You asked, walking into the living room after being in the living room

"Is it normal for babies not to blink? I've been watching Rez and he hasn't blinked once. I think his eyes are stuck open. Should I call Ulaz? What if he can't help? What if-" Regris said before you cut him off.

"Regris, it's perfectly normal for babies not to blink very much. And no, his eyes aren't stuck open. He'll be fine." You said, cutting him off and sitting next to him.

"Are you sure?" Regris asked you, cradling Rez in his arms.

"Yes, I'm sure." You said reassuringly.

Regris sighed in relief, relieved that Rez' eyes weren't stuck open. As if on cue Rez blinked a few times. You sat closer to Regris and hugged him. Regris purred as he leaned down a little to kiss your forehead.

About four weeks after having Rez you were sometimes still sore and you still kind of looked pregnant. Sure, your belly was slowly going back to normal, but it wasn't fast enough. Today was one of those days where you were sore and depressed. You were thankful that Rez was napping on the bed while you sat on the couch in the living room with a baby monitor on the coffee table.

"Y/n, is something troubling you?" Regris asked as he sat next to you.

"Yes, kind of. It's just… I still look pregnant, my nether regions are still a little sore, I don't have any women friends to talk to and I haven't been able to go do anything." You sighed.

Regris frowned, knowing that you were having the baby blues (no pun intended). He also knew that you were exhausted and probably felt alone; he remembered Krolia talking about her life right after having Keith. He started purring as he hugged you.

"I can set up a group video chat with Pidge, Allura, Romelle, Krolia and Ilun if it'll help." Regris offered.

"Really? Yes, that would be nice. I haven't talked to them in so long." You said happily, hugging him back.

Regris smiled, happy that he could make you happy. He decided to get into contact with Allura, Romelle, Pidge, Krolia and Ilun so that you could have a group video chat with them as soon as possible. He could keep Rez busy so that you could have your group video chat.

After a long day of doing stuff around home and taking care of Rez you and Regris were a little tired. As you sat completely topless on the bed and fed Rez Regris was waiting for you to finish nursing. Breastfeeding was still a strange concept to him despite watching you do it several times. Once Rez was done you gave him to Regris.

"Here you go." You said, finally being able to lay down on the bed, not caring that your top half was completely exposed.

Regris put Rez over his left shoulder and began patting his back. He waited for Rez to burp, but it was taking longer than normal. He cringed when Rez let out a loud burp and spit up at the same time.

"That was disgusting." Regris stated as he carefully laid Rez on the bed.

"You should have used a burp cloth." You told him, sitting up a little.

"I know. I wish I had. Now I have to change my shirt." Regris said as he carefully removed his shirt, balled it up and walked out of the bedroom.

You grabbed your pajamas and put them on. A few moments later Regris came back and put his own pajamas on. He looked a little nauseous, but you knew that he would live.

"Are you alright?" You asked him curiously.

"I will be." Regris said as he got back on the bed and laid down.

You picked Rez up and cradled him in your arms. Rez looked up at you with curiosity, wondering what was going on. You couldn't help but kiss his little chubby cheeks, making him smile.
