When you started feeling a cramping sensation one morning you woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. You didn't want to worry Regris, so you just laid there and winced every time you felt a cramp.

"Are you awake?" Regris asked, letting out a yawn as he woke up.

"Yes, I'm awake. I was waiting for you." You said, trying your best not to wince when another cramp made its way through your lower body.

"I'll go get something to eat." Regris said as he got out of bed and walked out of the bedroom.

You sat up a little as you watched him leave. Meanwhile, Regris was in the kitchen deciding what to make for breakfast. He decided on cereal because it was super easy.

"Hey, settle down in there." You said as you rubbed your bump, feeling your baby moving around more than normal.

Your baby wanted out, so they just moved around a lot. You quietly groaned in pain as you felt a slightly worse cramp. A few moments later Regris walked in with two bowls of sugary cereal with spoons. Regris got back in bed and handed you a bowl.

"Thanks." You said, still trying to hide the pain you were feeling every few minutes.

"You're welcome. Are you alright?" Regris asked you, sensing that something was going on.

"I'm fine, I'm just having a few little cramps. But I'm also hungry." You said, taking your spoon and digging in.

"Cramps? As in cramping?" Regris asked you, panicking a little.

"It's fine, I promise." You said, happily eating your cereal and ignoring the pain.

Regris gave you an unconvinced look before he started eating his own cereal. You were happy to finally have something to eat. Throughout breakfast you winced in pain every few minutes, but as long as you had food you were happy. Regris definitely knew that something was going to happen, so for the rest of the day he was going to keep an eye on you.

As the day passed your cramping got worse. Sometime in the evening your water broke. Regris tried his best not to panic as he put several towels on the bathroom floor and he carefully put you on the towel. You were in labor for several hours before you finally felt something pushing your insides apart.

"I take it back! It's not fine!" You screamed, squeezing a small pillow that Regris gave you since he had to be ready for when the baby was born.

"You're going to be fine, Y/n. Just start pushing." Regris said, trying not to pass out from what he was looking at.

"Don't you dare tell me it's fine! You're not the one pushing out a small watermelon out of a small hole!" You screamed, sweating like crazy.

Regris felt bad for putting you through so much pain, but he knew that this would all be worth it. You were thankful that you were only wearing a robe all day since it was easy enough to remove. You grunted and breathed heavily as you began pushing. You felt the head of your baby pressing against your entrance. You kept pushing for what seemed like forever before your baby finally came into the world.

Regris caught your baby in a soft towel and easily cut the umbilical cord with his nails. Your baby wailed loudly as Regris carried him to the small tub of warm water to get him cleaned off. Regris quickly cleaned his tiny son off, put a diaper on him and dressed him in a pair of soft blue pajamas that he got out earlier alongside a pair of light pink pajamas. As it turned out, only the light blue pajamas were going to be needed.

"It's a boy. We have a son." Regris said happily as he placed your son in your arms.

You felt a huge wave of emotions wash over you as you held your newborn son. Your son quieted down when he sensed you holding him. Regris remembered what Ulaz told him once and began quickly cleaning you up. Once you were clean enough he carefully picked you up and carried you to the bed where he already laid a few towels. He got on the bed with you and quietly purred.

"He's so perfect. All that pain was so worth it." You said, holding your son close to your body.

"We should name him Rez." Regris said softly, a loving smile on his face.

"Rez sounds nice." You said, gently brushing one of your fingers through Rez's soft hair.

Rez whimpered as he felt you gently rub his hair. He began searching for a nipple, so you let him latch onto one of yours. He immediately began drinking his first meal, making little sounds as he did. Regris felt a few tears escape his eyes and did nothing to stop them. He was so happy that he had you and your new son in his life.
