Regris paced back and forth in his bedroom as he gave himself a pep talk. Tonight was the night; he was finally going to show you his face. The only people who knew what his face actually looked like were Kolivian, Antok and Ulaz. Since he was a hybrid most people always treated him as an outcast while he was growing up. The only reason he wasn't dead was that he became a Blade. 

Ever since he joined the Blade of Marmora he refused to take his mask off unless he was alone in his habsuite or when he went to go see Ulaz for a checkup. He was scared that you would reject him when you saw his face. He thought about backing out, but he knew that he needed to do this. After getting his courage up he went to his door and opened it. As he walked down the hallway and turned the corner he saw you standing by the window.

"Y/n, I need to talk to you." Regris said seriously.

"Okay. What's on your mind?" You asked, turning to face him.

"Y/n, we've known each other for a while now. I think that it's time that you see my face." Regris said as he walked over and stood next to you.

"Are you sure?" You asked him curiously.

"Yes, I'm sure." Regris replied, trying not to sound nervous.

You couldn't believe that you were finally going to see his face. Regris took a deep breath before letting his mask fizzle away. Once his mask was gone your eyes widened. He had blue skin with dark blue markings, yellow eyes and what appeared to be four ear like appendages. To you, he was absolutely gorgeous. 

"Well?" Regris asked you nervously.

"You're so handsome." You said softly as you made eye contact with him.

"I'm glad that you don't find me unattractive. While I was growing up I was always picked on by the other kits in the colony I lived in because I'm a hybrid and how I look." Regris told you, his ears lowering a little.

"Well they're wrong to think that you're not good looking or a good person just because you're a hybrid." You said as you took his hands in yours.

Regris smiled down at you, happy that you didn't hate him. You let go of his hands so that you could hug him. Be wasn't sure what to think of the sudden physical contact, so he hugged you back.
