(Y/n) didn't mind receiving a checkup from Ulaz, he was gentle with her and he kept making sure she felt comfortable throughout her entire examination. Aside from being malnourished and having a slight concussion she was in pretty good health, much to their relief. Ulaz needed to give (Y/n) a full body checkup to make sure every part of her was healthy, although the mood in the infirmary felt a little awkward when he had Regris temporarily leave so he could scan her pelvic area and breasts, just to make sure there weren't any developing infections; (Y/n) felt a little uncomfortable, but she consented to getting scanned because if anything was going on inside of her she wanted to know, luckily she was perfectly healthy. (Y/n) laid as still as possible until Ulaz told her she could sit up and redress herself, she appreciated him being quick so she could put her clothes back on.

"Alright, you seem to be in good health." Ulaz said after looking at each image, placing his diagnostic scanner down once he made sure that he didn't see any growths or anything.

(Y/n) wasn't sure if she should thank Ulaz for giving her a full body checkup or not, she honestly didn't know the proper etiquette for during such a situation; she ended up muttering a quiet thank you while briefly making eye contact with him. Ulaz thought her awkwardness was adorable, although he wasn't attracted to her just because he thought she was cute; he already knew how to separate his affections and attraction from his profession as a doctor, plus he already had feelings for someone. (Y/n) silently watched Ulaz clean the thermometer off before he put it and everything else he used during her checkup away; unlike the doctor on the ship she'd been held prisoner on, Ulaz wasn't rough with her since he genuinely cared about her comfort. She couldn't help but feel curious about the rest of the base, she hoped that Regris would show her around.

"Are you finished yet?" Regris asked Ulaz when he walked into the infirmary; he tried waiting right outside for as long as he could, but he became too impatient and walked right in and over to the examination table.

"Yes, we're finished. You can show (Y/n) to her habsuite now." Ulaz told Regris, essentially giving (Y/n) the go ahead to leave with the younger male.

"Alright (Y/n), follow me." Regris said while he helped her get off of the examination table, eager to show her where she would be living.

(Y/n) thanked him for helping her get down from the large examination table, everything in the base was really big compared to her since she was human and she would always need help with some things. Regris led her out of the infirmary and down the long hallways so he could show her where the cafeteria, the kitchen and where the training decks were, as well as a few other places Kolivan said she could go. He also introduced her to a few of the other operatives so that she could get to know people better in the future. After a while Regris showed (Y/n) where her habsuite was located, it was right across the hall from his which would be a good thing; he made sure to show her how everything worked since she wasn't familiar with anything, too. (Y/n) appreciated the tour of the main Marmoran headquarters, it was a lot bigger than she originally thought and it would take her a while to learn her way around with the aid of a map.

"This is where you'll be living, you have everything you need to live here and all the food is still good. I understand if you want to eat alone this evening, I'll be here to help you find the cafeteria in the morning. I hope that you have a good night's sleep." Regris said before he left, he could smell the pheromones (Y/n) was letting off and he could tell that she needed a little time to herself, he didn't mind giving her a little space.

"Good night, and thank you for everything." (Y/n) replied gratefully right before Regris left her habsuite; she felt kind of guilty for not joining everyone in the cafeteria for dinner, thankfully Regris seemed to be very understanding.

Regris didn't hold it against her that she didn't feel comfortable going to dinner with him yet, Kolivan had someone else put some human safe food in the little kitchen earlier and he'd shown her how to work the oven and the microwave, he knew living in a new place with a bunch of strangers could be scary. The door to her habsuite opened and closed when Regris left for the rest of the evening, giving her the privacy she needed. The kitchen and the living room were connected while the bedroom and the bathroom were closed off from everything else, almost like a one bedroom apartment. Everything was large and high up, obviously made for galra since the base wasn't intended for human sized people. As (Y/n) walked into the bedroom she reached up and turned the light on, finally getting a better look at everything.

She looked around and saw that the bed had a bunch of fluffy blankets on it along with fluffy pillows, just perfect for anyone who loved sleeping on a comfy bed. (Y/n) let her eyes wander around the room to take in all the details until she saw another door which led to the bathroom; when she walked into the bathroom and turned the light on she let out a groan of annoyance, of course everything would have to be high up. (Y/n) was thankful that someone left a couple of step-stools in her habsuite, otherwise she wouldn't have been able to properly reach anything. She remembered the tour of the base Regris gave her and she remembered how big the cafeteria looked, she wondered exactly how many people were living in the large base. (Y/n) decided to go back to the kitchen so she could get herself something to eat and drink, she hadn't eaten anything in a long time and her stomach grumbled loudly just from the mere thought of food.

"Well, this is going to be hard." (Y/n) said to herself as she looked up at everything in the kitchen, feeling like a midget even though she was at a pretty average height for a young human woman.

Living in a habsuite designed for galra wouldn't be easy, but with some time and patience she would adjust to living in the base; beginning the next day she would begin helping out wherever she could, that way she could earn her keep. (Y/n) remembered how to add flavoring to the bowl of food goo she would eat for dinner that evening, she needed to ease herself back into eating real food since it was available to her again and she hadn't eaten it for a while. After dinner she would take a bath/shower, although for the time being she was content eating dinner in the privacy in her habsuite. In the meantime all the way in the cafeteria Regris was eating dinner along with everyone else; he sat at the same table as some of the operatives around his own age, unable to stop thinking about (Y/n). He didn't know why he felt funny around her, he figured it was simply his way of making a new friend who just so happened to be a lot shorter than him.
