As Ulaz washed his hands the sound of the heart monitor steadily beeped. He had just barely managed to save Regris' life. If he hadn't of been brought in when he was, Ulaz wouldn't have been able to save his life. When Ulaz stepped out of the med bay he saw you sleeping in the chair he had left out. He carefully picked you up bridal style and carried you to your habsuite.

As he tucked you into bed he smiled. On his way back to the med bay he hoped that Regris would live through the night. He had patients who had almost died several times, including Shiro. 

"Well, how is he?" Antok asked as he walked over to Ulaz.

"He's stable, for now. He lost a lot of blood and I had to amputate two of the spikes on his tail. He also has a large gash on his left side. He won't be able to go out on any missions for a few phoebs." Ulaz said seriously.

"I'll tell Kolivian. Thank you for saving him." Antok said before he went to Kolivian's office.

Ulaz smiled, knowing that Antok considered Regris to be his son. He went back to the med bay so that he could check on the young hybrid.

You held Regris' hand as you sat in a chair next to his bed. For the past two days you had been coming to the med bay to see Regris. You would talk to him and tell him about everything that was going on. You didn't know if he could hear you or not, but you didn't care. 

"Y/n, you need to eat something." Ulaz said as he walked out of the back room.

"I know, but I need to be here when Regris wakes up." You said, looking at him.

"Would you like it if I brought you something to eat?" Ulaz asked you.

"Yes please." You replied.

Ulaz nodded before he left the med bay to go get you something to eat. You looked back at Regris and frowned. You hoped that he would wake up soon. When you felt his hand twitch your eyes widened. Slowly, Regris began to wake up. 

"W-what happened? Y/n, is that you?" Regris asked you, his voice hoarse.

"Yes, it's me. I was worried that you weren't going to wake up. I've been visiting you every day" You said, smiling at him.

"How many quintants have I been asleep?" Regris asked you.

"Two." You replied, secretly wishing that he wasn't still wearing his mask.

"The last thing I remember is the explosion." Regris said, groaning in pain a little.

"Keith managed to save you." You told him.

Regris tried to say something, but it came out as a painful groan. When Ulaz got back to the med bay he gave you your food and started checking on Regris.
