Sweetheart

Risa POV

My days are all the same: wake up, eat breakfast with Tobi, go to school, go to music club on Mondays, make dinner, do homework, sleep, and repeat.

Honestly, it's okay, at least it's a schedule. Today, however,Tobi told me his coach said I could watch their practice. I'm so excited. Even though I like my routine, but this will be so fun.

I stop daydreaming and look out the classroom window. I see some third years walking around. In the group I see Oikawa-senpai. After I ran into him, we havent talked; he's always surrounded by his fangirls. He seems nice on the outside, but I think his smile is fake. He's wearing a mask, hiding his flaws, and as much as I want to get to know him, someone with a fake personality wouldn't be a good friend.

Sighing I glance at the clock. Ten minutes left, then, it's the end of school. I can't wait to see the volleyball practice. I used to play with Tobi almost every day, but now he doesn't have time. I normally just lay on my bed and set the ball in my room, being careful not to break anything.

As soon as the bell rings, I'm out of my seat, racing to beat the crowds. I make it to the gym in record time. Inside, I hear the sound of volleyballs hitting the floor and the squeaking of shoe, its musical in a way.

Sliding open the door, someone yells, Watch out! as a ball comes flying at me. I receive it with ease, sending it back where it came from. I look around for the coach. Seeing him I walk over continuing like nothing happened. I make my way across the big gym, not realizing everyone is staring at me. When I'm in front of the coach, I bow.

"Hello coach, thank you so much for letting me watch your practice. It's an honor." Coming up from the bow, I meet his gaze.

"You must be Kageyama Risa, your brother is an amazing setter, but he never said that you could play. He's smiling.

"I taught him volleyball. I'm also a setter, but I've practiced all positions. Also, call me Risa, its easier." I'm smiling now, knowing that Tobi's good at volleyball makes me happy to the bench. Tobi walks over to me.

"You actually came." He seems shocked, even though he invited me.

"Of course silly. I wanted to see you play." Shoving him off towards the court I look at the other people in the gym. Most are staring at me, but as soon as I meet their gaze they look away. Then, coach calls the team to line up.

"Everyone this is Kageyama Risa, she also plays volleyball and when she does attend practice you can treat her like an honorary teammate." I'm gaping at him, and he's still smirking. What the heck? I never agreed to this.

"Introduce yourself." He said to the team. I look to the team, waiting for them to start.

"Iwaizumi Hajime, vice captain, ace." Huh, I wonder where their captain is.

"Hashikami Kaito, middle blocker."

"Oritsume Raimu, libaro."

"Tashiro Kousuke, wing spiker."

"Kageyama Tobio, setter."

"Kindaichi Yūtarō, middle blocker."

"Kunimi Akira, wing spiker." They all bow. The coach looks at me, my turn I guess.

"Hello, I'm Kageyama Risa but please call me Risa. I can play any position but I prefer setter. Please take care of me." I finish with a little bow.

"Alright guys, warm ups, Risa you can watch for today." Coach instructs. As they all run off to do laps he keeps Iwaizumi back.

"Where's the captain?" Coach asked him. Iwaizumis brow furrows, he looks pissed. Without answering he grabs a ball and stalks to the gym entrance. When he open it I can hear squealing and shouting. One shout is louder then them all.

"Oi, Trashykawa stop messing with your fans and get your ass in here now." When whoever Trashykawa is doesn't come to the gym. I hear a loud smack, then high pitched whining.

"Owwie Iwa-chan that hurts... ~sorry, ladies I must get to practice now, bye bye~" An angry looking Iwaizumi comes in and shuts the door behind... Oikawa.

Is he the captain? Why was he late? Was it because of his fans? Wait, why does he have fans? Pondering this I don't notice him staring at me.

"Who's that?" He asks bringing my attention to him, he's pointing at me.

"I'm Risa, I'll be watching and participating in your practice from now on whenever I have time." I tell him. He looks at the coach who nods in confirmation.

"Oh well welcome Risa-chan, but are you sure your not here to see me?" He says, cockily and winks at me. I'm shocked, why would I be here to see him? I don't even know him. Iwaizumi looks like he's about to answer but I do instead.

"I don't even know you. Why would I be here to see you? If anything, I'd be here to see the team members who actually showed up on time, unlike their 'captain'." Who does he think he is? Sure, he's seems nice, but not only is he too full of himself, he can't even support his team right. He's staring at me; they all are.

"Did I say something wrong?" I question tilting my head to the side, a small frown on my lips.

"Of course not Kageyama-San." Iwaizumi says.

"I told you to call me Risa it's less confusing that way." I reply. He nods, I face the coach.

"I know you told me to watch but is there anything that needs to be done? I would love to help." The coach looks at Oikawa who smirks and nods.

"Well it seems Oikawa needs help with something, why don't you assist him." I nod and face Oikawa, he gestures for me to follow him and we go to one of the storage closets. I assume to get the bibs.

OIKAWA POV

She's my little kouhai, Tobio-chan's sister. She also seems to not like me. Maybe I can mess with her. I'm sure that would make Tobio-chan mad, plus shes cute. This will be fun.

Leading her to the storage closet, I open the door to let her in.

"Oikawa-senpai are we here for the bibs?" I close the door, "why did you close the door?" Time to put my game into effect. Walking up to her I lean over her, looking into her eyes, I reach up and grab the bibs not breaking eye contact.

"Yes, we are," I tell her in a deep voice. She seems uncomfortable by our closeness. I lean in farther. She's blushing. Grabbing a few strands of her hair, I twirl it in my fingers.

"Hey Risa?" I ask with false innocence. She gulps not removing her gaze from mine.

"Y-Yes?" Oh she stuttered, how adorable. I lean closer. Grazing her cheek with my hand, she shivers.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I ask blinking my eyes and acting sincere. When she doesn't answer I lean ever closer.

"No." Her answer shocks me, but I hide it with a pout. I let my eyes become moist and my bottom lip tremble.

"Why not?" I ask sadly.

"Well, I barely know you, and you don't seem like my type." At least she's a little sensible.

"Risa I knew from the moment I saw you that you were important to me, that we were meant to be. I can't stand the idea of not getting to know you, of not getting to be with you, to make you smile and laugh. I want you. I need you. Please, let me call you mine. Please be my girlfriend." I deliver the line perfectly. With the right emotions and gestures. If she still says no I'd be shocked.

"W-well I guess it couldn't hurt to try?" She looks unsure. Giving her a smile I caress her cheek.

"Don't worry it will be amazing." With that I back away holding the bibs I start towards the door.

"Come on... sweetheart." I call. She follows obediently. My games have just begun, this will be fun.
