Rantaro and I waited in the dining hall, eagerly waiting for the others to come. Rantaro has his eyes narrowed, and he kept tapping his foot rapidly as a bead of sweat streamed down the side of his face.

"At least attempt to not look like an exposed child." I remarked. He flinched, wiping the sweat away.

"Sorry, just kinda....anxious. As the Ultimate Survivor, I'm used to being prepared to defend myself, you know survive. But not once have I ever been the bait. I feel....vulnerable." He explained.

"Relax, if the mastermind tries to attack you, I won't let you get killed." I replied.

I lied of course. I can't promise he'll survive.

"How'd you know anyway? About my Monopad, and my identity." Rantaro asked. "I've got my ways." I replied with a smug look. Rantaro leaned over the table, resting his elbows on the table and intertwining his hands together.

"Okay....then do you have any suspects? About the mastermind?"

" ....nope. " Hell yes.

Suddenly the doors opened, and Gonta was the first to enter. " Gonta brought everyone." He stated.

"Good work Gonta!" I called. Rantaro took a deep breath and regained his cool, calm composure while everyone entered the dining hall. Everyone gathered together and sat at the table. I counted the heads, making sure we were all here.

"Thirteen....fourteen...yep! We're all here!" I looked to Rantaro with a smile.

"Okay Rantaro, you have the stage! Take it away!" That's when all attention was changed towards him.

"Rantaro, what is he talking about? What is going on?" Shuichi asked. Rantaro hesitated, brows furrowing. Miu growled and slammed her hand on the table.

"Well?! What the fuck is it?! Care to share with the rest of the fucking class?!" She snapped. Strangely enough, that seemed to be an enough of an encouragement needed for Rantaro to grow a pair.

He put on a determined expression, and took out his Monopad.

"Guys....I'm really sorry. I haven't been completely honest." He stated. Everyone have him puzzled expressions, but he turned on his Monopad and slid the tablet in the center of the table.

"Watch this video....it'll explain everything." And so they did.

Everyone watched Rantaro's perk video, each one them staring in shock. The more the video progressed, I noticed something important.....

The utter fear in Tsumugi's eyes.

After the video had finished, everyone looked at him in shock. Rantaro looked away shamefully, hands on his hips.

"Sorry guys...."

"Rantaro...." Kaede said. Tsumugi suddenly stood up, rubbing her arms nervously. I stood up, not keeping my eyes off her. "What's wrong Tsumugi?" I asked.

"Uh, n-no. I-I just....need to use the restroom!" She rushed out the rest of her words, and bolted out of the room. My eyes widened.

"Tsumugi wait!" Keebo said. I leaped onto the table.

"After her! She's the mastermind!" I shouted! Everyone watched as leaped over them and bolted after Tsumugi. I burst through the doors and managed to see her blue hair just down the hall.

I didn't hesitate to run after her. She hurried to get away, making a break for the girl's bathroom.

"The secret passage....yeah I expected that much." I went into the girls bathroom, just in time to see her open the passage. She ran inside, but I slid inside just before the door closed. I chased her down to the library, as she reached out for the door knob for the back entrance.

"Oh no you don't!" I stated. I used all my strength in my legs to launch myself towards her. I barely managed to tackle her down, pinning her to the floor.

"Grgh! No! Let me go! Let me go!" She screamed.

"Yeah no, I don't think so." I stated. Funny, I imagined her to be stronger. It was only a matter of seconds before the others came running towards us.

"Kokichi!" Gonta said. I looked up at them with a broad smile.

"I caught her!"

Tsumugi remained silent at the table, with Gonta as her guard standing right behind her so she wouldn't try to run. Shuichi and I sat by her, waiting patiently. Everyone else just gave her a cold, angry glare.

Everyone except Miu, that it, for she was absent from the dining hall for a few moments. That was short lived as the Ultimate Inventor returned.

"Okay, I got what you asked for." She said, holding up a small metal bracelet. Tsumugi immediately looked at it nervously.

"W-What is that?" She asked nervously. I gave her a smirk as Miu handed the bracelet to me.

"Oh, just a little invention I had Miu invent for us," I explained, opening it up and holding it out, "Your wrist." Tsumugi looked away, shaking her head, keeping her hands on her lap. Maki's eyes seemed to flow red as she took a step forward.

"You're not in any position to ignore us. So I would suggest you comply." She said in a low tone. This made Tsumugi visibly shudder, and she hesitantly held out her wrist so I could clamp the bracelet on.

"Now, Tsumugi. We want the full truth. About the academy. The killing game. About us. Tell us everything you know." Shuichi stated.

"And if I don't?" Tsumugi asked.

"Then you die, duh." I stated. She flinched at my cold statement. Shuichi immediately opened his mouth to argue against my statement, but Tsumugi beat him to the punch.

"What does this do?" She asked, pointing to the bracelet.

"Like it? It's a Lie Detector. If you lie, it turns red. If it turns green, then it's the truth. Meaning, you had better not fucking lie, or that little baby will shock you." Miu explained.

Now Tsumugi looked more than scared. Helpless. That was the look on her face.

"Well, start talking." Ryoma said calmly.

"....you wanna know everything?" Tsumugi asked. Everyone nodded. She took a deep breath, and began to explain.

About our fabricated pasts. Our fabricated identities. The Danganronpa show. She revealed it all. While I was happy to hear this, something felt off for me. She seemed more compliant then I expected. I got the impression she was a real bitch when Monokuma told me this stuff. Why isn't she resisting more?

"One more thing I wanted to say....I'm not really the mastermind." Tsumugi stated. Everyone's eyes widened in shock, including mine. That can't be right. She has to be the mastermind!

"W-What? What do you mean?!" Kaede asked. Tsumugi moved her gaze to the ground.

"I'm only supposed to portray as the mastermind for the show. The truth is, Monokuma is the mastermind." She explained. The Lie Detector turned green, so she was telling the truth.

"But he's just a robot. How can he be the mastermind?" Shuichi asked.

"He's not an ordinary robot. In fact, I'm not sure what makes him so strong. I just know, I have to do what he says." Tsumugi stated. The Lie Detector turned green.

"Monokuma is the mastermind? But like Shuichi said, he's just a robot..." I thought, until my eyes widened in realization, "No....he's more than that...."

"He's a demon."

"He said it himself. That's how he could start over this whole killing game, and keep my memories in tact. I wonder....has Tsumugi tried go against him? With him being a demon, she probably failed. Although she must not know he's a demon if she doesn't know what makes him so strong."

"Why did you do this, Tsumugi? Why did you do this?" Kaede asked.

" ....I didn't have a choice. They...they made me do it. Team Danganronpa made me do this. I had to or....they would've killed me." Tsumugi said. She began to tremble, and her face grew pale.

"I'm sorry....I'm really sorry...." She said as tears welled up in her eyes, fogging her glasses.

"Tsumugi...." Kaede said, giving her a pitied look. However, everyone else kept their glares on her.

"You big spoiler!" Tsumugi gasped at that voice, and we all looked to see Monokuma popping into the dining hall with his cubs. "What the hell Tsumugi?! Why'd you go and ruin all the fun?!" Monokid snapped.

"Yes, you had to go and ruin the show! You stupid bitch!" Monosuke stated. Tsumugi looked away, playing with a strand of her hair.

"I-I'm sorry. I....I had to tell them!" Tsumugi said.

"But that's clearly against the rules! You could've at least waited for someone to die!" Monophanie stated. Tsumugi then glared at the bears, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"I don't want anyone to die! I don't want murder, or executions! I don't want to be Junko's disciple! I just want everyone to be free and alive!" She shouted. We all watched in shock as the 'mastermind' spoke her mind. Monokuma blinked, then sighed.

"Geez, I had so much faith in you. What a disappointment you turned out to be. Oh well." He said. Monotaro approached the girl and snatched something from her pocket.

"You won't need this then!" He stated, holding up her card key.

"This is so sad. Now everyone knows the truth.....but don't think that means you're outta the park yet!" Monokuma stated.

"What? But we got all the answers! Doesn't that mean the killing game is over?!" Himiko demanded.

"Hell no! In fact, you knowing the truth could be the perfect motive for one of ya! So, your all stuck here till someone kicks the bucket!" Monokuma stated.

"You...you can't do this! Let us out!" Kaito demanded.

"NO-CAN-DO. YOU'RE-ALL-STAYING-HERE." Monodamn stated. Kaito clamped down on his teeth, fists clenched. "Dammit...." He muttered.

I, on the other hand.....was beyond pissed.

I capture the mastermind, hoping to end the killing game! Only to find out the real mastermind is a powerful, robotic demon that cannot be touched. And now, we're all back to square one!

"Anywho, cya later! There's buttermilk pancakes that are calling my name!" Monokuma stated. With that said, he and the Monokubs disappeared.

"Great. Just fucking great." Miu stated. Tenko glanced at Tsumugi, and looked back at us.

"What should we do with her?" She asked. We all looked at her, and she kept her gaze to the floor. There was a moment of silence.

Then, suddenly Shuichi approached the girl. Tsumugi flinched, but otherwise didn't move. Kaede's eyes widened.

"Shuichi." She said.

To my surprise, he gently grabbed her wrist and took off the Lie Detector. Tsumugi's eyes widened, and she looked at the Ultimate Detective.

"She's not a threat to us now," he said, turning to face the group, "besides, everyone deserves a second chance. "

The group all looked at each other, as if wondering if they agreed. "She did seem serious when she stood against Monokuma." Kiyo said. "She was even crying...." Tenko said.

Kaito looked to Tsumugi putting on a smile. "If she isn't a strong spirit, I don't know what is." He stated. Tsumugi looked at them all wide eyed.

"You guys...." More tears streamed down her cheeks, and she covered her eyes with her hands, "I'm so sorry! " she sobbed. Kaede didn't hesitate to hug the girl, comforting her.

Meanwhile, I just watched silently.

"Great, now what the fuck do I do?" I thought.
