"HI, LEVI..." Y/N greeted from the door frame of levi's office.

they could see levi's face in his hands and they could hear his heavy breathing.

hange had informed them earlier that levi's whole squad with the exception of eren had passed due to the female titan.

silence engulfed the room before y/n slowly walked over to levi and pulled him into their embrace.

levi's eyes widened at this gesture. he felt the warmth that he dearly missed.

he wanted to cry into their shoulder and spew all of his problems, secrets, burdens, and everything in between to them.

but he didn't.

instead, he shoved them away, a scowl etched on his face.

"leave me alone. i hate you." levi spat.

y/n stared at levi, mouth slightly agape.

"i hate how you're so positive. i hate how you're so reckless with your life. i hate how you could be in the brink of death but smile. i hate how so carefree you are. i hate how you take risks. i hate how you don't even have the thought of dying in your mind." levi's words were covered with venom. "i hate you. leave me the fuck alone."

y/n swallowed hard and looked straight at levi. "okay, captain."

and with that, y/n curtly turned to the door and fled levi's office without another word.
