Dante's POV

I feel.... nothing

As I watched myself being pulled into the ambulance I feel that my past is now coming to haunt me.

Every single happening...

Katelyn....

Master Drey...

Dante Knightwalker

Never heard that name in years.

Could it be.....

*Flashback to 6 years ago*

-Dante,12 years old-

"Hey Dante! Master is calling us"

I turned around to see Katelyn,my best friend. I smiled as I went up to her.

We've been together ever since we were toddlers. It's because we're both orphans. Master Drey, our teacher, was the one who adopted us. We were just left outside his door, crying. Ever since that day he took us in. He taught us hand-to-hand combat, how to use a weapon and how to protect each other no matter what.

I followed Katelyn inside to see Master Drey. He was a tall man in his late 20's. He had brown hair and dark brown eyes. His tan skin was just flawless. He smiled at us as we approached him.

"Master"

I said while bowing. He chuckled and rubbed my hair. Which annoyed me.

"Hey! I don't want you to rub my hair!"

I exclaimed while fixing my hair and pouting. Katelyn slapped me in the back which made me lose my balance a bit.

"Ow! What was that for!?!"

I asked. She laughed and pointed at me.

"Why are you annoyed when someone rubs your hair? It's just hair anyway it will go back if you just fix it."

She exclaimed while placing her hand on her hip. I rolled my eyes and faced the other way.

"Tch. I know, I'm just lazy to fix it"

"Oh really? Lazy Bum!"

She said, which made the master smile. She laughed and clutched her stomach.

Lazy Bum.....I'm not lazy. I looked at Katelyn's way and decided to tickle her.

"Here's what you get!"

I jumped on her and started attacking her with tickles.

"Stop! Hahahaha!! S-stop Hahaha!!! DANTE!!!"

She totally lost it and gave in to the tickles. She laughed so hard she needed to take deep breaths.

What she did next...made me snap.

She took one of the knives and...

That's right..

Cut my hair

I feel everything went slow motion. I could see strands of my hair falling before my eye sand Katelyn smirking at me.

Oh no...

She's gonna get it.

"Hahahaha!!! So?"

She looked at me and smirked. When I faced her, her eyes widened.

"Bad move Katelyn...I'll tickle you endlessly!!!!"

With that said I chased her as she ran across the room.

"Can't catch me! Can't catch me! Can't catch- Oof!"

I grabbed her by the arm and let her face me.

"Gotcha!"

Suddenly I lost my balance and fell....

On top of her.

I could see her face go red since we were just inches apart.

"Katelyn? Why are you...red?"

She looked away and stammered.

"N-no! I-I'm not r-red!''

"Okay!"

I exclaimed while flashing her a smile. She pushed me away and tried to stand up but then she fell and...

The unexpected happened....

I....

Landed on her and unfortunately her face was under my back...

"Dante!!!!!!"

She screamed. I laughed and quickly stood up.

"I hate you!"

She said. I smirked at her and walked towards her, a plan in my mind.

"Oh really?"

I asked while trapping her in the corner of the wall. Her face went red.

"D-Dante! W-what are y-you d-doing?"

"What I have to do"

Finally I leaned towards her and whispered something in her ear.

"Katelyn...I....

AM GONNA TICKLE YOU UNTIL YOU SAY YOU DON'T HATE ME!"

then again I attacked her with tickles.

"Kids today"

I hear my master say. If only we could stay like this forever.. Little did I know I would regret something that I would do in the future.

-Dante,14 years old-

"Dante you have to help me save master!"

I stared at Katelyn as she shouted at me for help. As much ad I wanted to help. I just can't move, I'm...scared.

"Dante! Please! Help me!"

She creamed on the top of her lungs but still,I wouldn't move.

I started backing up slowly. Then I didn't know what I did next. I ran....out of fright.

As I ran I looked back at Katelyn who was sobbing and crying out my name. Suddenly...someone stabbed her from behind.

"Katelyn!!!"

I shouted,but I know she couldn't hear me. I ran up to my car and drove to our house.

How could I just do that! Betray my only family! I'm such a horrible person!

As I reached our home....it doesn't feel the same anymore. All the memories...gone.

All because of me!

As I reached the training room I got on my knees and cried.

"Katelyn!!!!!! Master Drey!!!"

And with that said. I packed my stuff and decided to leave. As I drove away I saw Garroth running to me with blood all over him. I let him inside and he told me what happened .then we decided to go away from that place. Start over........

But the past is here to haunt us........

It won't let us rest.
