Chapter 4:

-Lucy's POV-

I walked in with Natsu and then realized what Marina told me during my training wasn't at all wrong

Flashback

"My child. You must know that after you get these powers, many dark people will be looking for you and you need to be careful for you are very powerful. " marina told me very concerned like a mother would.

"Don't worry marina. With my new powers I will be able to defend myself and protect the few friends I still have." I cheered gleefully.

"Very well my child. Lets continue with your training"

"Hai" I jumped very excited.

Now this is what she meant and I think there is only one way to avoid anything from happening to my friends. Scratch that. Family.

"Hey Luce are you ok?"

I turned to see a very concerned fire dragon slayer looking straight at me.

"Umm yeah I'm fine. Just need some air " I walked out and as soon as I got out, I ran somewhere where I thought no one would find me. I ran to the east forest and sat next to the waterfall I was training with Marina. I'm going to have to leave them. All of them. I don't care about the dense headed Natsu, but what about Wendy and happy?

"Hey Lucy-San what are you doing all the way out here?"

" Yeah lulu what's wrong?"

I turned to see my recent team coming toward me wearing worried expressions.

"Um nothing I'm fine" I told them and tried to reassure my statement with a smile.

"Lucy-San. I know something is wrong and we know you are planning to do something stupid, and as stupid as anything you are thinking about doing, we fully support you and will be with you the whole way." Wendy burst out saying.

"Yeah lulu. You are a part of our team and we will not let you go." Gajeel approached me with his arms crossed.

"Thanks guys but this 'stupid' idea I have. You really won't like."

" What is it?" they both asked in unison

-Back at the guild-

-Normal POV-

"You saw that worried look on her face too, right?" Natsu asked Gray.

"Yeah I saw it and I'm actually kind of worried for her. She might do something stupid like give her self up or something. Don't you remember what happened last time we took our eyes off of her?" Gray responded to the worried Natsu.

"Yeah we should check up on her." Erza stated as she come close to the table Natsu and Gray were sitting at, quite surprised they weren't fighting over something stupid again.

"I'll go check on her. " Gray volunteered.

" No. She is my girl and so I'm going to check on her. Got it ice pee!" Natsu glared at gray, and Gray gladly returned it.

"Hey flame brain. Since when is she 'your girl'. As far as I knew Lissana is 'your girl'." Gray responded and smirked as he saw the white haired Mage walk up behind Natsu.

"Yeah Natsu-kun. Your my boy. Remember?" Lissana hugged Natsu from behind.

Erza who was just sitting there and watching finally spoke. "Gray is right. You take care of your girlfriend here while me and Gray check on Lucy. I mean after all you do prefer Lissana on the team instead of Lucy." With that she left to find Lucy. Leaving Lissana and Natsu behind with the whole guild staring at them.

-In the east forest-

-3rd person POV-

"WHAT!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN LEAVE THE GUILD AND GO TO JOIN ANOTHER GUILD!!" both dragon slayers yelled perfectly synchronized.

"Exactly what I said. Wasn't it clear?" she asked not at all surprised by their reactions.

"Well we knew you were going for something stupid but we didn't think it would be something this stupid" Gageel calmly responded with Wendy still just standing there registering everything in her little bluenette head.

"I mean you guys don't have to come. You can stay here with everyone else. We could still stay contacted and.."

Lucy was cut off by a little sky dragon slayer tackling her down to the cold ground.

"I am coming with you. I don't care what you say. I am not letting you leave me again!! You have no idea the days I couldn't sleep, because you weren't there to say goodnight. The nights that I literally cried myself to sleep, thinking that I could have done something to prevent you leaving. Lucy!! Never again will you do that to me!! " Wendy shouted with tears starting to escape her little adorable eyes.

"Yeah lulu I am not letting you leave us, your team, behind. Ok?!" he half stated half shouted.

Lucy then stood up. "Well I guess I can't stop you guys. Lets meet up here tomorrow and please don't tell anyone about our departure. Just casually say good bye like every other day and don't worry you'll see your friends again." They both nodded and they all left towards the guild.

While approaching the guild, they noticed Gray and Erza walking towards them on the opposite side of the street. As soon as they saw them, they crossed the street, concerned for Lucy.

"Hey are you okay Lucy?" both Gray and Erza asked simultaneously.

"Um yeah. Perfectly fine. We should head back to the guild though." Lucy answered, making everybody feel a little a little less tense on the earlier event.

When they got there they noticed that Natsu wasn't there, which Lucy found relieving. She stayed drinking a couple of drinks with Cana, before she left to home. "Hey guys I'm kind of tired. I'm going to where I'm staying." They all waved at the blonde celestial Mage as she walked out, stumbling a little.

-Lucy's POV-

I summoned Leo to keep me company and we walked to Natsu's house together. He kept me up straight and made sure I didn't fall. I saw the lights of his room turned on so I sent Leo back to the celestial world and headed inside. He gave me a worried expression, but listened to me.

I heard laughter and yelling when I entered the small cottage. Curious I went up the stairs and entered the room like it was my house. That was a mistake. I opened the door and I saw a certain transformation Mage on top of Natsu on the bed. Natsu was blushing. That was when I realized I was somehow hurt, but my feelings for Natsu had already gone away when he broke my heart. Right?

"Sorry I interrupted anything. Enjoy yourselves." I said with a knot in my throat and ran out. The last thing I heard before was Natsu calling my name but I didn't care. I ran to someone I could talk to and someone who could understand me.

-Natsu's POV-

After Lissana finally pinned me to the bed and kissed me, I couldn't help but blush. The door then swung open and I saw the love of my life with wide eyes before me.

"Sorry I interrupted anything. Enjoy yourselves." Her voice cracked andshe left. That really broke me. "LUCY!!" I yelled but it was no use. "Look we are alone again," Lissana looked at me "lets have some fun," she said tugging on my pants.

"NO LISSANA. STOP THIS. I LOVE LUCY!!!! NOT YOU!!!" I yelled at her and finally got her to get off of me.

"But Natsu-kun, I lov.." I didn't let her finish her sentence. "LEAVE. NOW!!" I yelled.

"FINE BUT YOU'LL REGRET LEAVING ME FOR THAT BITCH NATSU!!!" she stormed out. I stood there for a couple of minutes until I realized that I had to find Lucy. I ran into the streets of Magnoia in the search for the only woman that could ever make me happy.

-Gray's POV-

I just got back from the guild and finally sat down on my couch. It was actually a lot of fun not having flame brain around to screw things over and Juvia on a job so she couldn't annoy me.

*knock knock*

Who could it be? It might be Juvia. She might have already came back from her job and just 'happen' to pass by. I'll just pretend that I'm not here.

*knock knock*

Ugh I don't want to see her right now. My day has gone way to well for anyone to mess it up. I'm too tired to have anyone come over, and plus, its almost eleven at night.

*knock knock*

Okay I'll just tell her to leave and come over another time. I walked to the door and opened it expecting Juvia.

"Gray!!" a feminine voice called my name and ran into my arms. After taking a better look I realized it was Lucy.

"Oi Lucy. What's wrong?" I asked and closed the door.

"Many thing Gray. Many things." She tried to say in between sobs.

"OK. Well tell me about them. You know you can trust your big cousin" I told her with a big welcoming smile.

" I know that's why I came" she said and smiled slightly.

-Natsu's POV-

I was tracking Lucy when I thought the way she took seemed familiar. Too familiar.

When I reached ice queens house I knew I was about to blow. I looked through the window and saw Lucy talking and smiling with snow stripper. He pulled her in for a hug that made Lucy seem really happy. Ok that's it. I busted open the door. Both Lucy and perverted popsicle jumped. Ending their little cuddle session.

"Natsu! Get out of here right now! Lucy doesn't want to see you!" Exclaimed Gray. That lit the fuse. I walked up to him and punched him.

I turned to Lucy. "How could you be with droopy eyes instead of me. You know I'm the one for you."

"Be with Gray? As a couple? Why would I 'be with' my cousin?!"

"Cousin?!"

"Yeah flame brain. Me and Lucy are cousins. Now get out before I freeze that stupid look on your face." Gray stood up wiping the blood off his face and took me out by pulling me by my scarf.

Wait a minute, cousin? That was unexpected, but i guess I can't really do anything at this point. Might as well go home. Hopefully Lucy comes by the house to sleep. Hopefully...
