Noah

Though injured, the twins propped each other up and fought with a new intensity. Orion was equally matched with Jay and the two had moved off to the side as they continued to try to each get the upper hand. Alegra moved gracefully, avoiding blows from guys who seemed a bit more hesitant about hitting her. When one actually managed to land a blow, she dropped to her knees and made a big fuss. He at once began to apologize when Alegra made a remarkable recovery and punched him across the jaw.

However, out of everyone, it was Terrell who caught Sahara's eyes. There was such an intensity about him that she couldn't describe. He kept his hands in his pocket for a good while, simply kicking those who approached. However, when he removed them and began to use his fists, Sahara's mouth dropped. Guys dropped left and right. When one charged, Terrell sidestepped, grabbed the guy, and used his own momentum to flip him. Before the guy even landed, Terrell punched the next guy in the stomach and then added an uppercut.

"Cool," Naomi's eyes sparkled. When a guy stumbled past her she stuck out a leg. The guy tripped and tumbled to the ground.

Just what am I watching here? Sahara wondered as she stared at the chaos before her.

"Well I certainly stumbled across an interesting scene. They been fighting long?"

"About five..." Sahara's head whipped around to stare at the guy who had come up from behind to stand beside her.

He turned to look at her and she found herself staring at a pair of twinkling blue eyes. Though he looked to have platinum blond hair, it was filled with blue. For a moment, Sahara simply looked at it in surprise. It didn't look horrible...she'd just never seen anyone with this kind of hair before. The home she had stayed at didn't really allow much space for creativity.

"Who are you?"

Like Terrell, the newcomer was wearing baggy pants. His were black and filled with all sorts of white designs at the sides. A dark hat hung attached to his pants and he wore boarding boots; though a board was nowhere in sight. On top of it, he wore a baggy light sweater; even though it wasn't cold at all.

"Just someone passing by," he told Sahara. "Heard the noise and thought something interesting could be happening. Turns out I was right." His gaze returned to the fight. "Race gone wrong?"

"Why do you have blue hair?" Naomi asked him as she gazed at him in wonder.

"Doesn't it look cool?" the guy asked in reply.

Naomi scrunched up her face in thought.

The guy ran a hand through his hair with a sigh. "That's what the girl who did it said."

"You might have been conned," Naomi told him seriously.

The guy chuckled. He looked up again only to freeze. His eyes widened.

Sahara turned to look who he was looking at. Terrell held a guy by his collar, his fist frozen inches from his face as he too, stared at the newcomer. "Noah?"

"Terrell?" the guy beside Sahara, who Terrell had addressed as Noah, asked in disbelief.

"Here." Terrell pushed the guy he had been holding over to Noah.

Noah caught him in surprise.

"We'll talk later," Terrell told him before he turned just in time duck a blow aimed at him.

"Wait...you know each other?" Sahara asked as she watched Noah dump the guy on the ground next to him.

"Know him?" Noah looked amused at the thought. Not giving any further explanation, he walked forward. He knocked a guy in his way to the side with a kick a lot like Terrell's. "I looked everywhere for you!" Sahara heard him tell Terrell as he came to stand beside him.

Terrell didn't reply as he punched someone else.

"Didn't you get any of my IHMs?" Noah asked. His eyes landed on Terrell's bracelet. "Ah, new one, huh?" He suddenly ducked. The fist aimed for him went right towards Terrell. Terrell's hand shot out and he grabbed the hand before twisting it. The owner let out a yelp.

"I'm kind of busy, Noah," Terrell said dryly.

Sahara and Naomi exchanged glances.

"Is this crazy or what?" Sahara asked the little girl.

Naomi pursed her lips and nodded. "His hair is."

Sahara didn't bother to explain that it wasn't what she had meant.

"What is up with your hair?" Terrell asked the same question Naomi had.

"New style," Noah shrugged.

"Makes you look like a delinquent."

Noah grinned. "Look who's talking." He and Terrell both turned opposite directions. The guy who had been charging, passed right between them. Both guys kicked him behind. He went stumbling.

Their conversation was lost to Sahara as they moved out of earshot. Her eyes turned to the twins. They both looked pretty beat up and exhausted and yet were holding their own.

That's when her eyes landed on Rick. He had picked up a metal pole lying to the side and was approaching Reagan from behind, hate filling his eyes. He lifted the pole.

"Reagan!" Sahara yelled in warning.

She was too late and could only watch as the pole descended. She felt her stomach drop as, at the last moment, Arden suddenly appeared and threw himself in the way. There was a loud crack as the pole collided with the back of his head. For a moment, the older twin simply stood. Then he crumpled to the ground.

"Arden!" Reagan screamed.

Alegra whirled around to see what was going on.

"No," Sahara whispered. She stood, frozen to the spot as Reagan reached for something lying on the floor. She saw him pick up the blade Jay had dropped earlier. Her heart dropped as it hit her what he was going to do.

"Reagan, no!" Alegra yelled as she caught on. "You can't!"

Reagan wasn't listening. With an angry yell, he got up and charged at Rick with the blade held out before him.

Sahara felt despair fill her. He's going to kill him!

Rick tried to dodged, but Reagan followed. The blade was inches from the other boy's chest when a hand shot out and grabbed Reagan's wrist. Sahara felt relief fill her as she realized who the hand belonged to.

Reagan looked up, his vision still blinded by rage. "What are you doing?" he growled as he tried to jerk free from Terrell's grip.

The others had all stopped, seeming frozen to the spot. Noah appeared and grabbed a hold of Rick, stopping him from going anywhere.

"Reagan," Terrell told him calmly.

"Let me go!" Reagan yelled as he struggled harder.

"Stop," Terrell told him.

"I said, let me go!"

Terrell surprised everyone when he responded by pulling Reagan into a hug.

"Stop," Terrell told him.

A surprised Reagan had frozen. Terrell took the chance to tighten the grip on his hand, forcing him to drop the blade. Arden lay lifelessly in the background.

"Why?" Reagan asked with his voice breaking as his anger seemed to drain. "Why would you stop me?"

Terrell's grip tightened. "Life is not something to be taken lightly," he murmured. "Killing someone isn't something that will solve the problem." His eyes had a look in them that Sahara couldn't quite place. "Killing someone...trust me," Terrell told him, "You don't want to live with that on your conscience."

Reagan didn't respond. However, he relaxed completely. Seeming satisfied that he wasn't of any danger, Terrell let him go. He slowly turned to face the rest of the group.

Alegra rushed towards where Arden lay.

"This is where it ends," Terrell growled. He shot a look to where Alegra had kneeled down beside Arden. "If he's dead," his eyes flickered, "Each of you will be held accountable."

The guys exchanged glances. And then they made a run for it, scattering in all directions. The only ones who remained behind were an enraged looking Rick and a not so confident looking Jay; whom Orion had subdued and was holding at his mercy.

"Arden!" Reagan turned and rushed towards his brother.

Sahara followed with Naomi close behind her. Coming closer, Sahara paused, her heart pounding. There was blood; and quite a bit of it too.

Alegra had gently turned Arden on his back. His eyes were closed and his face was white.

"No!" Reagan began to panic. "You can't do this, you can't leave me!"

Arden's lips moved, as though he was trying to say something.

"What?" Reagan asked in tears as he leaned closer to hear whatever farewell message his brother had for him.

A loud rumbling sound came from Arden's stomach. "Hungry," he moaned as his eyes fluttered open.

Relief filled Sahara.

"You're alive!" Reagan fell onto him to hug him.

"Owe," Arden complained as his hand went to the back of his head. It came back sticky with blood.

"Don't move too much. You took quite a blow," Alegra warned.

Arden slowly sat up.

"Why did you do that?" Reagan sniffed. "You could have died."

Arden snored. "Why? Because I'm your big brother, you oaf." He placed a hand on Reagan's head and tussled his hair.

Alegra moved behind the older twin. She switched her bracelet so that a green laser light appeared. It ran up and down Arden's head before and image of his skull popped up.

"You've got quite a hard head there. Looks like you got away with only got a slight fracture," Alegra told him.

"What's that?" Naomi asked.

Alegra began trying to explain while Reagan hugged his brother and refused to let go.

"You'll be the one to kill me!" Arden yelled.

Reagan shook his head.

"You're lucky," Terrell told Rick as he turned to him. "If it was more serious I can't say what would have happened to you." He shot a glance over at Jay. The boy struggled, but Orion had a firm hold. "I suggest that whatever grudge you two hold, you settle it with this."

"You think something can be let go this easily?" Rick growled.

"I'm telling you nicely," Terrell replied calmly. "But if you come after anyone of the Falcons ever again..." He looked right into Rick's eyes, "Things in Regona may begin to look a different to you."

Sahara shivered. He sounded like he really meant it.

Rick chuckled. "What could you ever do to me?"

A smile spread across Terrell's face; it was a smile that made Rick pause.

"Alright, time to say bye." Naoh turned him away. Orion came over with Jay. He released him, sending him stumbling forward, before he turned to check on Arden.

Sahara watched as Noah threw an arm around both Jay and Rick. He pulled the guys close. "I'd listen to him if I were you," he told them sternly. Sahara was only able to hear because of how close she was standing.

"And you say that because?" Rick asked dryly.

"You don't play with fire," Noah replied calmly. "In the same way, a cub would never win against a tiger." He pushed the guys away. "Now scat."

Sahara wrinkle her forehead. She turned her gaze to see that Terrell was watching Arden still trying to get his twin off while Naomi seemed to have decided that she wanted a fracture too. Alegra was trying to explain that it wasn't a good thing.

Sahara tapped Terrell on the back.

He turned to look at her.

"How did you find us?" Sahara asked.

Terrell nodded at Arden. "He sent a message."

"What?" Sahara looked towards the twin. "When?"

"When they told us to turn our bracelets off," Arden spoke. He groaned as he got to his feet. Orion supported him on one side and Reagan on the other. All three boys were covered in scratches and bruises. In fact, everyone was.

"Really?" Sahara tried to recall the moment. I didn't see anything.

"I don't know why you sent it to Terrell though," Alegra muttered. "He's the most unreliable."

"I knew he'd come," Arden replied.

"How am I unreliable?" Terrell defended himself. "Besides," he turned to glare at Alegra, "I thought you said we were family."

Reagan's eyes brimmed with tears. "Father!" he yelled running towards Terrell. He didn't manage to get close as Terrell punched him.

"Call me that again and I'll leave you to rot next time!" Terrell growled.

Arden reached Terrell with Orion's help. He slung and arm around his shoulder. "So you do care about us!" he commented.

"Get off," was Terrell's reply.

"Cold," Reagan said as he tried to stop his bleeding nose.

Naomi walked up to Terrell. "You did a good job," she told him as she pulled something out of her pocket.

Terrell took off the lollipop she offered him. He unwrapped it and stuck it in his mouth without a word.

"Still my slave for the day," Naomi added.

Terrell's eyes narrowed.

"I hate to be the mood breaker here," Orion spoke up. "But who exactly is he?" All eyes followed his pointing finger. Their gazes landed on Noah who had watched the entire exchange from nearby, an amused look on his face.

"That's Noah," Naomi chirped, looking proud of the fact that she knew his name.

"That's right," Noah replied with a grin. He walked over and threw an arm around Terrell. Unlike he did with the twins, Terrell didn't shrug him off.

"Wha...wh..." Reagan pointed a shaking finger at the offending scene, "Why...?"

Noah leaned forward, his arm still casually slung around Terrell's shoulder. "I think a more important question in this situation is...who in all of Regona City, may you all be?"

The crew exchanged glances.

"We're the Falcons," Naomi said happily.

"A crew?" Noah asked. He turned to look at Terrell. "Whose?"

Terrell ignored the question. "Let's get out of here before the Keepers Turn up," he said.

Nervous glances were shot all around at the mention of the Keepers.

"You have a point," Orion said. "They could turn up any minute if we're unlucky."

"Well, I won't be around if they do," Alegra said as she motioned for her board and it zoomed over.

"Home sounds good just about now," Arden agreed as he switched his bracelet back on and motioned for his board.

The rest of the Falcons, including Sahara, got on. Turning, Sahara noticed that Noah had stepped into the way of Terrell's board.

"How about that talk?" Noah asked.

"Don't feel like it," Terrell replied.

Noah raised an eyebrow. "Oh...wait, I brought you something." He dug into a pocket and pulled out something. When he tossed it to Terrell, Sahara realized it was a carton of strawberry milk.

He knows him pretty well, she realized.

When Terrell caught the carton his eyes lit up.

"I realized we were running out, so I saved you one," Noah told him.

"Hey!" Alegra made an attempt to zip over on her board and snatch the carton from Terrell. He managed to get it out of her reach. "He's going through a withdrawal."

"You don't like it, find somewhere else to sleep tonight," Terrell told her without looking at her.

Noah looked like he was trying hard not to laugh.

"Fine." Alegra huffed before she turned away and began to board off.

Terrell turned back to Noah. He popped the lollipop out of his mouth. "Are you bribing me?" He pointed at the carton.

Noah grinned. "I wouldn't dream of it."

Terrell grunted before he calmly tossed the lollipop behind him. He stuck a straw into the carton and took a long sip. "Follow us," he told Noah simply said before he turned and followed Alegra.

Noah made a motion and a sleek board shot out from an alley nearby. It was blue and white and strangely matched his hair. Seeing Sahara looking at her he shot her a grin.

Who is he? Sahara wondered as they headed off.
