THREE YEARS LATER

Melaine Pov

I have always wondered why I have felt like an outcast. When I try to make friends it never worked out well maybe because I have magic or maybe because I'm much smarter than any other five year old. But I will never know the truth why. I sat in my bed playing with my silver locket around my neck. I'm guessing my birth mother probaly gave it to me when I was born. I will also never know if she loved me or not. I walked out of my room and walked to the main room where Rumpel was at I also saw a girl with him she was cleaning things. "Who is this?" I asked Rumpel " this is a girl who traded her life to go with me in exchange for her family's life in the ogre war so I will protect them" Rumpel said. I walked over to her "hi I'm Melaine" I said to her " oh, hi I'm Belle" she said. "Well it's nice to meet you" I said "it's also nice to meet you" said Belle I smiled and ran off to the library to read some books.

Belle Pov

"Rumpel,why do you have a little girl here?" I asked. "It's none of your buisness" Rumpel replied. "Oh please tell me" I begged "fine, her mother is the Evil Queen but the Evil Queen's mother Cora found out she was pregnant with a stable boy child she was going to dump the child at a near by village until I came and I took the child because it has magic it's known as the falling star a powerful sorceress with light and dark magic also more powerful than the dark one and there only born every 1,000 years that why I took the child"Rumpel said. I nodded "and so you have been teaching her magic" I asked "yes dearie"said Rumpel.

Melaine Pov

Later that night I woke up crying because I had nightmare. I ran down to where Rumpel was spining straw into gold."Rumpel" I said "You should be in bed dearie" he said. "I know but I had a nightmare and I'm scared" I said. He looked at me "I know what will make you feel better" he said and he used his magic to make a small spinning wheel. "sit down" he said ,I sat down on the small stool right in front of the spinning wheel "spin" he said. I started to spin but the strangest thing happened the straw turned into diamond and I also kind of forgot about the nightmare "do you feel better now" he asked "yes, thank you but you can keep the diamond" I said and ran back to my bedroom.
