My dad told me a joke once. 

It was so inappropriate. Best joke ever. 

"I hate cocaine. I hate the people who do it, and I hate everything it stands for- I just like the way it smells."

I read this was a romantic quote, but I'm pretty sure it's not meant for a person.

I apologize. That's so inappropriate- but it's so funny. I'm so addicted... x'D

This is my sister's rabbit.

Now, I know what you're thinking! She just isn't as cute...

  This is one of my favorites.  It just screams WTF.

Gizzard looks so angry in this picture.

I guess I should be fair to my sister's rabbit... although the photos just don't have as much personality and charisma. And they're BLURRY.

Who do you guys think is the cutest? 

So, I've been thinking, (which is a scary thing for me), that it'd be pretty awesome to do an Art Contest! :D

Rules:

- The drawing must be of at least one of the two rabbits above. (I know which one everyone's going to draw). ;D

- I need to be able to tell each rabbit apart. Key features on Gizmo are her Herterochromia (multicolored) eyes, and the white that hugs the middle of her face. For the black rabbit, she has soft white and tan rings around her eyes that trickle into her fluffy cheeks. Also, her eyes are a solid brown.

- It must evoke some type of emotion to the viewer. Now there are many different ways to go about expressing emotion. A lot of people use color, but that's not the only way to express emotions in art! Words and lighting are some other ways emotions can be expressed.

 Ex: Cool colors are normally associated with sadness/depression, and warm colors anger/fury.

-   Both traditional and digital media are acceptable. 

- Black & White or color are acceptable. If you want a challenge, try combining both!

How To Submit:

Simply make a book on Wattpad and comment the link to your drawing in the comment section of this chapter! If you're having problems with a link, just comment that you participated! I'll be sure to head over to your Art Book and check it out!

P.S. If any of you would like me to give you constructive criticism, (it just means I'll evaluate your piece of artwork based off of elements of design, not my opinion), let me know!

Keep In Mind:

- This doesn't have to be realistic. It's up to the artist; however, if you're looking to improve or looking for a challenge... I strongly suggest drawing it as realistic as possible. 

- This doesn't have to be exact to the image! If you would like to change the color of the fur/background that's 100% acceptable. This is YOUR art! Make it how you like, but keep the rules in mind as you plan it.

- The image may be copied. I know a lot of Art Contests say "NO COPYING A PHOTO OR YOU'LL BE DISQUALIFIED! YOU'RE NOT AN ARTIST IF YOU COPY!"

For someone who struggles with their line work or getting accurate outlines, tracing/copying is one of the best ways to improve. You're training your eyes and hands to see things as they are. You're not going to be making up lines that aren't there.

So please, by all means, use whatever resources you have available!

-  Don't be shy about entering! Art is a continuous learning process, and if you don't contribute to it regularly, you won't reach your full potential. I don't make a lot of "Finished masterpieces" that could move Mona over, but I have to sketch on a daily basis or I'll die. I get twitchy and irritated. It's just bad for everyone.
