<13 years later...>

13 years has passed by quickly, Moon is already a full grown teenager. However, her life was not as ordinary as a normal 15 year old, she was a princess. A princess of her kingdom and a princess to her subjects.

Growing up, Moon was forced to obey some strict rules...

1. She had to remain in the castle at all times (If she does go out, a bodyguard had to accompany her)

2. She must attend every royal meetings with the King and Queen (Unless it's a private meeting with the King and Queen)

3. She is not allowed to go to the beach (Sadly...)

Moon loved going to the beach ever since she was little. But as the years went by, her parents restricted her from leaving the castle and going near the beach.

She didn't understood why. The only answers she would get is "it's too dangerous'"or "you will be safer in the castle".

The only thing she knows is that she's going to be the next Queen and it's her duty to protect her kingdom. So, Moon tried to forget about the past and move on with the present...but...she still couldn't...

<Present day...In Moon's Office...>

That afternoon, Moon was writing and finishing up a documentary about the shipping of products from the neighbouring countries when there was a knock on the door.

Moon: "Come In."

A Maid came into the room and bowed.

Maid: "Pardon me, your highness. But the King wishes you to be present in the throne room for an audience."

Moon: "Alright, what time is the audience?"

Maid: "It's in twenty minutes. Oh."

The Maid then walked over to Moon and handed her a bottle with some sort of liquid.

Maid: "Princess Harmony wanted me to pass this fragrance oil to you."

Moon took the bottle from the Maid.

Moon: "Thank you, you may leave now."

The Maid bowed once again and left.

Moon: Aunt Harmony knows me too well...

Whenever Moon is stressed or overwhelmed with work, Harmony will specially make a bottle of Rose Fragrance Oil just for her.

Moon loves the smell of Roses. Just like her Mother, Rose.

Harmony was always there to comfort Moon and took care of her since young.

Moon: "I better get ready."

Moon got out from her seat and went back to her room for a quick change of clothes.

<In the throne room...>

Moon wore a simple long sleeve blue ballgown which was embroidered with gold accessories and designs on it. Pairing the dress, she put on a pair of blue high heels.

<I deleted the picture of the gown so I apologise to anyone who already saw it>

After a change of clothes, Moon entered the throne room. She wondered who were the visitors who came to the castle for an audience with the royal family.

Rose: "Moon! There you are!"

Hawk: "Ah, there's my princess."

As Hawk and Rose walked up to her, Moon noticed a well-dressed man following behind him.

Moon: "Good Afternoon, Mom, Dad."

Hawk: "Good Afternoon, Moon. Thank you for coming at short notice."

Moon: "No problem. But dad, who is the man standing behind you?"

Hawk stepped aside and gestured Moon to the man.

Hawk: "Moon, meet King Arthur. I told you about him before."

Moon curtsied.

Moon: "It's nice to meet you, your majesty."

Arthur: "Likewise. I have also heard a lot about you, Princess Moon."

Arthur took one step closer and studied her face.

Arthur: "You are as beautiful as everyone described you to be."

Moon blushed, feeling embarrass by his comment.

Moon: "Thank you, your majesty."

Hawk then joined the conversation.

Hawk: "Moon, King Arthur and his son will be staying at our castle for the next few months so please make them feel welcome."

Arthur: "My son is not here yet as he still traveling here by boat. But I bet he will happy to see you."

Moon: "Y-Your Son?"

A lot of things crossed Moon's mind. If King Arthur and his son are going to stay here, that means she will be seeing them every single day!

Moon: But...it's only for a few months...

Rose: "Moon? Is something bothering you?"

Moon: "Huh? What? N-No, Mother! It's nothing..."

King Arthur started laughing.

Arthur: "King Hawk, your daughter is so adorable and hilarious at the same time! My son will definitely love her!"

Hawk: "If that's the case, your son and my daughter will a perfect pair!"

Moon: "Dad!"

Rose giggled.

Rose: "Now, now, Moon. Your Father is only joking."

Hawk: "But I was being ser-"

Rose shot a death glare at Hawk which caused him to silence his mouth. Moon quietly laughed at his parents' childishness.

<A few hours later...>

It was nighttime and Moon was standing right next to her bedroom's window as she stared out at the ocean.

Moon considered herself to be a complete night owl and she would often stay up despite being tired after a long day.

Moon heaved a heavy sigh.

Moon: Why can't I go back to the beach? What's the harm in that?

Moon missed the sounds of the waves crashing against the shore and the calming feeling of the waters. Those were her childhood memories.

Moon: "Enough is enough! I can't take this anymore!"

After years of being confined in the castle, Moon had enough. She is going to escape that one night.

Moon changed into something more flexible so she wore a short white dress with slippers.

Moon: I don't think it's a good idea to go out through the door. They're definitely Guards outside...

Moon then turned to her window. An idea popped out in her head.

She rummage through her drawers and pulled out a long rope that she usually use for her daily exercises.

Moon pushed the doors of her window opened.
She tied one end of the rope to the window handle and fastened it tightly.

Moon: "Okay here I go!"

Moon climbed out of her window and slowly made her way down. She had some experiences abseiling down a tower before.

Once she reached the ground, Moon looked around. There is nobody in sight so her coast was clear.

Finally, after many years of yearning to escape, Moon was free. She then excitedly ran to the beach.

<At the beach...>

Moon stood at the shore as her long blue hair fluttered in the wind. The smell of the fresh sea waters was so intriguing. She took a deep breath and relaxed her shoulders.

Moon: "I forgot how much fun I used to have when I was at the beach..."

Moon pictured her younger self playing and splashing water all over herself. Her parents would also join the fun. However, they warned her not to go deep into the waters.

She smiled as a single tear ran down her cheek. She quickly wiped it away.

Moon: "Oh Gosh, why am I crying?"

Moon looked up at the night sky. She spotted the moon being covered by some dark clouds.

Moon: Hmm...I can't see it well from here...

She turned to her left and noticed there was a cliff.

Moon: "Maybe I can see the Moon better from there..."

Moon then rushed to the cliff.

<At the top of the cliff...>

After a long climb to the top, Moon made it. The clouds that were surrounding the moon drifted away.

Moon: "It's so...beautiful..."

The moon was glistening in the sky as the 'sun' of the night. Streaks of moonlight shone down, as if it was embracing her.

Moon: "...you and I have the same name..."

Moon have been told of the story about Hawk's Mother and how much she loved the moon. It was a very unique and uncommon name...

She raised her hand towards the moon, wanting to touch it, but it was way out of her reach.

Moon: "We may have similar names but...we are both very different..."

Moon pulled back her hand and looked down at it.

Moon: I will never understand anything...

Suddenly....

*Wind blowing strongly*

The wind's current started to increase and it was blowing Moon from behind.

Moon: "Woah...when did the wind become so strong?!"

The wind was so strong that it was pushing her to the the edge of the cliff. It was unbearable.

Moon: "AH!"

Moon lost her balance and she was falling down the cliff!

SPLASH!!!

The sound of the water splashing echo throughout the night...
