Rose couldn't help but feel relieved. No boys to break her heart. No life struggles. No nothing. And she loved it. The memories before she attended Regal Academy came at her like rapid fire. Happy memories and sad memories came at her, full force.

Though she hated the thought of all the times everyone told her it was just fairytales. She couldn't help but to think, "I should've believed them."

Rose didn't want to admit it. But she knew. She knew all her misfortunes started when she entered the world of fairytales. She should have listened to her mom. The land of fairytales only brings misfortune and broken hearts. And her heart was shattered.

The memory of her first encounter with Hawk. Hawk was her knight in shinning armor. Even if she didn't know at the time. The time they went to the ball. Or the time they celebrate Christmas together. Tears ran down her face as she clutched her chest. Her knees gave out from under her as she fell to the ground.

She couldn't understand why fate dined her happiness. Why she must face this alone. Why Hawk once told her that he loved her and then broke her heart. He was her world. He was her rock. And just like that, her world came crashing down.

Imagines of her time with Hawk now flooded her brain. Rose screamed out in horror as the scene with Connor and Hawk replayed. She couldn't stop the tears. Rose thought she went though heart break with Conner. But when she heard Hawk say those hateful words, she experienced what it really felt to be heartbroken.

Rose couldn't take it anymore. Rose cried for help. But her cries went unheard. As time grew on. Her cries grew quite. As she fell to the ground, she couldn't help but to think about what could have happened. As she close her eyes, she saw something. Something that she never told anyone about. Something that changed her life for the better.

A bright light led the way.

Ruby (ohhhh interesting) couldn't help to feel guilty. Her and Rose never had a good relationship. All because of their parents history. The two was bound to fall in love with the same man. And Rose was bound to end up with the man. It was in their history. Even so, she tried to hard to ruin fate. To trick fate. And now she is paying for it.

If Ruby could turn back time, she would change everything. Change the time when she thought she would out smart the Fates. Or how she could change her destiny. Change the part where she fell in love with Hawk SnowWhite.

There's a saying. "What goes around, comes around."

Ruby didn't believe in that saying. Not until she went through what Rose went though. Not until she saw Hawk SnowWhite break Rose's heart. Ruby was blinded for so long. Her wants overweighted her needs.

But she was going to change. Change the person she was. Change the person her Mother wanted her to be. She was going to a hero.

In some ways, she outsmarted the Fates. But she believes this is her fate. And nothing was going to stop her. Not even the red string that binds her to her past. If need to be, she will cut that string in half.

Alyssa hated her dad's side of the family. She wanted nothing to do with fairytales. Growing up, fairytales were banned from the house. At first Alyssa didn't understand. She wanted a normal life like her other friends. Until she had a mouth full of the truth. Ever since then, she wanted nothing to do with fairytales.

But this was different. Tearing her father's house apart looking for that one special key. She needed that key. Once she finally found it, she ran to the alley she remembered all those years ago.

She spoke and traced everything she could recall. She slowly placed her hand on the key and open the door. As she stepped into the mysterious portal. She had no clue what awaited for her on the other side. But she knew if she didn't do this, Rose would forever be in danger. She needed to stop this. Closing her eyes, she relied on the watch dragon of Regal Academy. There she would find her grandmother.

And faced the life she could have but never wanted. The life of a grandchild of a Princess.
