Thirteen
^^^How did I only find out about this song now? I feel like I've just wasted the two months I neglected it...^^^
Lesson two: Always Look Your Best
"Here's your new wardrobe," JB revealed as he led the Prince to the large walk-in wardrobe. It was almost as big as his new bedroom alone with lots of different suits and various formal attire on display. "Notice in the bin over there we have your hoodies, t-shirts, jeans and other informal wear. Say goodbye to all of them. Kings always dress their best." The King's Main Servant turned a corner and brought out a fancy white, silk robe. "Even when they are asleep."
He continued leading Hyunjin around the wardrobe, laughing at the boy's unimpressed reactions.
"Everything a King wears must be better than everyone else. This includes underwear and socks. None of them should be dirty, creased or have even a strand of hair on it. They are made out of the softest, most comfortable and most expensive materials Wonderland has to offer. And a crown must be worn at all times." He pressed a button which opened a large display case full of gold crowns with jewels embedded in them . "We have the ruby one for when you were red and so on. The diamond crown is what you will wear most often since Kings usually wear white. And the crystal quartz over there is for when you sleep."
"I have to wear a crown when I sleep?" Hyunjin asked din utter disbelief. Did his father do this a the time?
"Of course! As I said before, a King must always look his best. You'll also be given the strongest potions to keep you looking youthful, handsome and flawless at all times. Now let's go to the garden, shall we?"
Lesson three: Know Everything Around You
There's a little botanical garden and balcony right on the edge of the royal garden which is on top of a hill. It's a beautiful sight and I'm sure I can say the same about what you see when you are inside it.
The only problem here, is that it is reserved for only the King and his Queen. No prince, princess or queen that is not married to the King can enter it.
But here JB was, leading Hyunjin to it. Obviously, the King's Main Servant was originally not allow in the place either but after the death of Hyunjin's mother, JB doubled as the King's best friend and so the rule was altered for him.
"This is where you are allowed to work if ever the office is too stuffy. Though I would restrict you to enter it as of now. You're too immature to pay attention to your work while you're inside."
"Fair enough," Hyunjin sighed, agreeing with the previously said statement.
"Hey Hyunjin," a voice was heard from behind and soon Seungmin stood before the duo. "Oh, hi JB. Didn't see you there..."
"Seungmin, the Eighth Prince, am I right?" The King's Main Servant replied with a slight bow of his head.
"Yeah... Hate to ruin the lessons happening but there's a bit of commotion in the palace."
"What happened?" It was Hyunjin's turn to ask him a question.
"The Third Queen heard about your dad and is now acting as if she's in control. She's threatening to turn all the servants into horses and doctors into yaks!" Seungmin exclaimed.
JB laughed.
"Let her," he smiled. "As long as Hyunjin over here lives under the palace roofs, she can't do anything."
"Seungmin, Hyunjin," another voice was heard and soon Suzy was beside them too. "The Third Queen is going crazy! She turned my main servant into a horse! And he's standing on his hind legs!"
"Yugyeom?" Hyunjin asked. "She turned him into a horse? How?"
"I don't know but it's getting crazy in there. You need to do something. You're the acting King after all."
The Fifth Prince turned to JB, asking for approval. The King's Main Servant sighed before gesturing to him and soon Hyunjin was sprinting back to the palace with Seungmin and Suzy close behind.
***
"What happened to you?" BamBam roared with laughter as he watched Alex walk into their assigned homeroom. Out of all of her friends, he just happened to be the only one in the same group as her. He also happened to be in most classes.
"Shut it," Alex simply growled, throwing her bag onto the ground and pulling her soaking jersey off. Not like it did much to help though, the rest of the clothes were soaking too. "I missed the bus and it started to rain."
BamBam didn't even follow up with another word, the next thing he did was laugh like a maniac at his friend. Alex wished he chocked.
"Settle down everyone," Mr Hennessy, their homeroom teacher arrived holding a clipboard in his hand. A boy with dark hair to match his eyes of a similar colour and pale skin followed behind him, searching the room full of teenagers.
Alex narrowed her eyes. Something about him was familiar.
"Introduce yourself," Mr Hennessy said to the new boy but the boy hesitated for a while as he looked for whoever it was he wanted.
Then his eyes stopped wandering when they landed on Alex. A smirk grew on his face.
"I'm Jinyoung," he shrugged. "And I'm not from around here."
People around the class started to bet whether he was from China, Korea or Japan.
As his stare on Alex intensified, only one word came to her mind.
Wonderland.
Sorry for the Wonderland part of the story becoming boring. I just feel like putting the King information stuff in now before I go ahead with the story but I hope what's happening on the Earth part is interesting enough to balance it out.
Also, for quick clarification if you didn't get the slight hints, the reason the servants and workers in the palace were animals were because of the Third Queen (Eunbyul's mother). She turned them into animals. Suzy (Alex at the beginning of Until Then)'s Main Servant was Yugyeom, the King's Main Servant was JB (obviously. I think I stressed that enough) and the yak Yugyeom called at the beginning of Until Then when Alex woke up in Wonderland was Youngjae (GOT7).
And this whole posting at a certain time is your of the door because I suck with time.
