Wildfire
Amidst a normal day so plain,
Animals busy in their own domain.
Yet beneath it all, a spark so slight,
Grows unseen, takes hold, ignites.
No one can grasp the flames' advance,
Trees ablaze, a fiery dance.
Smoke wraps, choking the forest's breath,
Green dominance swapped for crimson's death.
Animals flee from the burning might,
Through the night,
under the fiery light.
Acres vanish, black in its wake, Yet amid the rubble,
a flower.
Standing tall, a symbol of grace,
Survivor in the desolate space.
From wild fire's roar, it did not cower,
A small flower blooms, rebirth in the hour.
