Fermi Paradox

In realms of stars where silence reigns,

A cosmic question, it remains.

Fermi's paradox, a riddle untold,

Mysteries in the cosmos unfold.

Amongst the galaxies, vast and grand,

Countless worlds in celestial sand.

Yet whispers echo, a cosmic plea,

"Where are the others?"

A billion suns, their stories spun,

Planets dance around each one.

In the vast expanse, teeming with chance,

Life's emergence, a cosmic dance.

Yet, silence blankets the cosmic sea,

No alien whispers reach our reality.

Fermi's gaze, a skeptic's stare,

At the cosmic stage, seemingly bare.

Civilizations rise, civilizations fall,

Yet the cosmic silence enthralls.

Radio waves in the void unheard,

Echoes of silence, like a bird.

Did they rise and then decline,

Or never birth, in space entwined?

A paradox, like a cosmic waltz,

In the galactic ballroom, who exalts?

Perhaps they sleep in cosmic dreams,

Unseen by us in silent streams.

Or they transcend, beyond our ken,

Cosmic mysteries, again and again.

The Fermi paradox, a cosmic mire,

Provoking thoughts that never tire.

In the cosmic silence, we stand,

Gazing into the unknown, hand in hand.
