Life needs to go on pause,
I'm sick and tired of it all.
I need some time to sit and relax.
Not worry about tomorrow or after that.
Is that really too much to ask?
It sucks having soo much on my mind.
Feeling I'll explode at any day or time.
Let me have a universal remote.
So I can pause the world for good.
And relax as I should.
Close my eyes and untangle my mind.
All I want to do is sleep,
And let my dreams take me high.
To places I've never been or seen.
Goals I've always dreamed.
Places I could never reach.
All I want to do is sleep.
