Chapter 5
🤍Sleepover🤍
Maggie
I was excited when we arrived back at Neverland, Michael did promise to show me around the place and it was so awesome! Later, he wanted us to set up a blanket fort after we showered and got everything that we needed for a sleepover. After the tour, Michael suggested we should probably to our baths, build a fort, find any stories to read, food aka KFC, and a movie. Last but not least we have to share our lifestyle stories about each other. I already took my bath and so did Michael since we are wearing our PJ's. Michael had already sent his children to bed while we have fun downstairs in the living room
Outfit:
MJ outfit:
"Should we build the fort first?" I asked.
"Yeah, then we can get the food prepared and set up a movie to watch and read a story." He replied.
"Okay. Where are all the blankets?" I asked.
"I'll be right back. Pick out a movie or book while I set up the fort." He said after leaving the room letting me search around his house trying to memorize where to go since he showed me around.
I did manage to find the library and looked on each shelf to find a book for us to read as one caught my eye 'Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark'. I smirked and took it with me and headed back to set up our food. I could see Michael had already set up the fort which looks great.
The Fort:
"Great work on the fort." I complimented.
"Thanks. I already got a movie and set up the food for you." He said with a slight grin.
"I did find one story we can read." I showed him the book as his eyes bulged.
"Aren't you a little too young to read bedtime stories?" He scolded.
"I'm 12 yes, but I love to read horror stories because they are the life for me to keep me from being dead inside," I replied.
"You're not always dead inside." Michael shook his head.
"Not 'Alway's. Sometimes." I shrugged.
"Anyway, let's get our sleepover going. We're going to watch Peter Pan and his second movie too." Michael smiled as he played the movie for us to watch while we ate together.
After the movies were over I read Michael the scary book and what made me more surprise was his jumpscares that he tries not to pee in his pants. I wasn't trying to scare him that hard, but it was pretty funny to watch him squirm a bit while clutching on a pillow for protection.
"Maggie, are you start telling me about your life?" He asked.
I sighed and closed the book laying on my backside saying, "I am born as a rich kid on the block in Beverly Hills and you may think 'Yea, you get to get anything you want and you don't have to ask.' Mmm-mm. I'm not like those others spoil rich kids that hang around with fake friends. Whenever I go to school the kids would always try to hang around me as if 'We're friends', yeah, I'm not falling for that."
"Oh...I've been through the same path all my life," Michael said.
"Yep. That's why I don't have any friends to hang out with because of the richness I am and it hurts to be around other's who aren't as close as you, Michael." I said.
"Is that why you saw me as..a different person?" Michael asked.
"...Sort of. Now, I want to get to know you." Maggie leaned over as Michael grinned a little.
"Well...there's a lot that you should know about me. I was born with my brothers and sisters raised to become a singer, I was abused by my own father, and I never had a good childhood to begin. I left out of the singing group to make my own career and created a home for children to come by and play with me." Michael said as he glanced at a concern, Maggie.
"You would let people come visit your home?" Maggie asked.
"Yes, I didn't mind at all. But, I was dealing with the stress of the tabloids that wrote lies about what I do with children that aren't necessary indeed. I hate them, I want to make a mountain of it and burn it all." Michael scowled at the thought of the silliest name the press could come up with to hurt him 'Wacko Jacko'. Rude and ungrateful.
"That's awful," Maggie said sitting up as Michael looked away.
"People would say things about myself that you...you would not understand if..."
Maggie places her hands on his and smiled a little, "I'm here,"
"...People would think I'm a freak, monster, and worst a pedophile. I would never lay hands on a child nor will I ever forgive myself for that." Michael vowed.
"I'm glad you told me about this Michael. You shouldn't keep these feelings inside of you or they'll make your body function differently." Maggie said.
"They already have and I'm joking. I'm born as a Black African American which my skin changed by a case called Vitiligo." Michael said.
"Hmm...It's getting late. We should probably get some sleep." Maggie yawned.
"Right..." Michael sighed.
Maggie crawled over giving him a playful punch on his shoulder, "Hey, we'll spend the day tomorrow just you and me."
"I was thinking about letting you stay here for a while and pick out a room for you to stay in." Michael smiled as his friend wrapped her around his neck thanking him over and over again.
"Your the best friend I could ever be happier with." Maggie smiled making a warm feeling in Michael's heartbeat.
"I'm glad. Goodnight, Maggie." He said turning off the lights and got under his covers to sleep on the floor and so did Maggie.
"Good night, Michael." She whispered before she shuttered her eyes to fall asleep.
I am done with chapter 5 and I hope you've enjoyed it :D
