Chapter 4
🤍You Got Me, I Got You🤍
Michael was completely shocked after what happened between Bruce and Maggie since he clearly knew or didn't speak up about the fact of her standing up for him. He was pleased with it except he felt guilty deep down as if he remembered his whole childhood all over again. To Maggie, she was like his little princess knight to protect him by even if he needed her. When the photoshoot was now over, so Michael and Maggie could return home. Or so he thought...
"Do you want to stop by somewhere to eat?" He asked Maggie as she swung her legs and nodded.
"Yeah, that's fine." She replied.
Maggie felt a little bad for the intrusion earlier and felt as if Michael would scold her for it. Let's be honest that it did happen to her mother with her fashion company that drove her nuts. Being a helpful daughter she forbade her mother's co-workers to not stress her out or there would be consequences. That particular attitude caused her mother to get upset and embarrassed due to her daughter's help that did not make anything go so well.
"Maggie? Are you worried that I might get mad at you?" Michael asked.
Complete silence was in the vehicle as Maggie took a deep breath and replied, "Yes, I'm worried that you're upset with me because of today."
Michael could only let out a small laugh giving Maggie confused, "Maggie, I'm not upset with you I was rather surprised of today. I never had someone defend me for speaking out unless it involves the consequences I faced in court."
"In court? What for?" Maggie asked.
"Uh, well I'll tell you about it later. For now, let's just pick a place to eat and-" Michael was cut off by Maggie getting closer into his view as he stared into her brown eyes in surprise.
"You think I'm going to wait that long for you to not tell me? No." She huffed.
"Maggie..."
"Nope. I'm not going to miss out on anything about you if you get to know more about me. It doesn't matter if your a famous person, but your friend that I should share anything or keep from you if it's okay. You got me, and I got you." Maggie reassured as Michael smiled softly and hugged her happily.
"That was the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me." He said as he broke out of the hug.
"If we're going to tell each other more about ourselves we should make a sleepover!" Maggie beamed.
"A sleepover? I haven't had a sleepover since the early '90s with children. It was spectacular." Michael smiled as he remembered in his younger 30's having a sleepover with boys and girls together happily to have fun.
"Well, we're going to have a sleepover and its going to be the best." She fisted pumped into the air making Michael smile.
"Sounds good to me."
"By the way, can we go order some KFC?" Maggie asked.
"Yes," Michael said in agreement.
