It was just yesterday when I had pulled off my 'epic' scheme, and here I was, laying down in bed and doing nothing. The Hokage never said when I had to go to the academy, but all I knew that it was certainly not today.

All I felt like doing today was laying down on my mattress and sleep. Which was pretty weird, since before I got to Konoha I was always doing something. Whether it was running from tracker-nins, training my kekkei genkai, stealing things, or at least anything. It's not like they were all by choice, though it's not like I exactly hated doing them either.

But I was just so tired of it, all the running, fighting, and just - everything. The only time I had to myself was used for training and sometimes working. Now, I'm happy that all of that is gone, at least for now anyways.

And now that it was over, I was going to have to go to a freaking academy. An academy, for fucks sake. I know that I really shouldn't be complaining since I sorta signed up for all of this, but I had gone to an academy before, and lets just say it was not pretty.

Obviously different academy means different things, and since no one here really knows me, they're not going to really... do bad things to me. I don't really go well with other people, and I kinda have a sort of.. not great personality. I also don't do very well with rules.

And in order to keep up my image and get closer to my goal, I would have to pretend.  Whether I would be a loving, sweet girl or a damaged and tormented girl, it would still all be fake. I'd never be able to be who I truly was, hell if I even knew who I truly was.

But this is all my fault anyways. It was me who chose to steal the treasure, regardless of knowing the consequences that would come had I done so. Stupid old me thought it would bring me happiness.

But look where I am now.

Regardless of what happened in the past, I still have things that I need to do. If the goal with Ryoko goes as planned, everything will change. Yes, I can do this.

But before anything, I really need to shower right now and go shopping.

After showering, I got my tattered white bag which contained all of my money and put on a clean and comfortable outfit before going outside.

The only thing I was focused on was the map in front of me, trying to decipher it. Everything was just so tiny, the only reason I could find the damn house was because the Hokage put a mark on it and the Hokage building.

After looking through the map about 5 times, I sighed in frustration and ran my hands through my hair. I decided to discard the map into my bag. Looks like we're just going to have to find it without a map.

When my attention was finally off of the map, I noticed how populated Konoha truly was. The streets were bustling with people and positivity. Everything and everyone was just so happy, which was the complete opposite of Kori, where everything was so gloomy, lonely, and depressing. Fire and ice, huh?

Not long had passed when I found the grocery store. I was on a tight budget, so I'd have to limit the things I bought.

I didn't need much to last me a few months, really. Just some rice, fish, and of course, every type of fruit I could find.

I loved how juicy and sweet they all tasted, and plus, I could always just replant them in my backyard. Since I was always on the move, I never really had time to grow anything. So it would be really nice to have a chance to.

Plus, it would save me money.

I walked inside the market, and as soon as I did, I was greeted with a whole variety of foods and some people everywhere. Everything was separated into categories, so it really didn't take me long to find everything I needed.

I ended up getting a couple bags of rice, some fish, and a variety of fruits ranging from pineapples, watermelons, oranges, apples, etc.

I walked out of the store with my hands loaded with bags, and since I wasn't all that strong my hands were getting tired. I looked around for a place that wasn't overpopulated, and as soon as I found a spot I crouched down and gently placed the grocery bags on the floor. I pulled out a summoning scroll from my pouch, and bit my thumb hard enough to draw blood.

"Summoning jutsu!"

As soon as I said this, a small cloud of smoke appeared and once the smoke cleared, I saw a familiar pair of red eyes glaring at me.

I scratched the back of my head, smiling nervously at the fox in front of me. "Hey, Reina!~ How have you been?"

She narrowed her eyes at me, "Don't 'how-have-you-been me!'" She snapped.

I tilted my head in confusion, smiling innocently at the fox in front of me. "What do you mean~?What's wrong, Reina?"

My oblivious act only enraged her more, though I could see that she was somewhat relieved. "You know exactly what's wrong." Reina said, turning her head away from me.

"Huh? I'm not a psychic, Reina~."

"You haven't summoned me, or any of us for months! It's boring with everyone else! You're the only one who understands me!" Reina said as she sulked.

"Oh? My poor foxes are feeling neglected!" I dramatically gasped in shock, "Tell you what, if you take these grocery bags safely home, I'll summon all of you guys for an epic reunion!~"

"Sure but..." She trailed off for a second, "Stop using that voice.. You sound like you're making fun of me." Reina whined.

"Huh?~ What voice?" I asked innocently, though I knew exactly what voice she was talking about.

"The same one you're using right now! Stop!~" She cried, dragging out the 'stop'.

I giggled, "Fine. Now take these bags home. I'll explain the situation to all of you when I'm done shopping."

Reina grabbed each of the bags with her paws, dragging them on the floor behind her.

"What 'situation?' Why are you going shopping anyways? And where exactly is home?" Reina questioned.

I gave Reina a light shove with my foot, making her growl at me. "I said, I'll explain the situation to you when I'm done shopping! From here, you go straight, then left, then another left, then straight, right, straight twice, and a left, and then right. It'll be the second house there. You're great with directions, so I'm sure you'll be able to find your way home!~ Oh, and the food better be fine by time I get home, or else!"

And with that, I took off running, laughing at Reina's screaming from behind me. She's not the best with directions, but I'm sure she'll be able to find home. Though she's probably mad at me.

I asked around for a high quality ninja tool store, and with the help of others I managed to find one in under 6 minutes.

From there I got scrolls, explosive tags, shuriken, kunai, senbon needles, and some other stuff that I'd probably need.

And there luckily was a nearby clothing store, where I got a couple of outfits though my favorite one was a maroon short-sleeved shirt paired with a pair of black shorts. It would work out well for ninja duties, and plus it was also pretty cute.

After all that was over, I walked back home with all of my bags in my hand. There was a lot, but not enough that I'd need some assistance. When I opened the door to my house, I was greeted by a messy and angry looking Reina glaring at me.

I pretended to be unaware as I skipped happily through the house, placing the bags on the table. "Hey Reina! Happy to see that you found your way back home! I knew I could trust you!"

"How could you just... leave!" She cried frantically, running up to me and placing her paws on my legs. "I got so scared, Ri-Ri." She sniffed, "I got attacked by a group of bad guys. I protected the groceries, just for you!"

She was obviously pretending, though I decided to play along. I gasped dramatically, placing my hand over my chest. "I'm so sorry, Rei-Rei! I didn't think anything bad would happen to you. Those bad guys have hell to pay! I'm so proud of you for protecting the groceries, though!"

"It's okay, Ri-Ri! I'd do anything just to make you proud!"

"That's my Rei-Rei! You're so precious, lovely, and sweet!~"

"Yup!~ Now go make me some fish!" As she said that, her voice changed back to her regular tone.

"Okay, okay, I will. I'll summon the rest of you guys and make you fish after I finish putting everything away."

"And don't forget! You have to explain to us all where the hell you've been for the past months, and why we're living in a house! You know how much I like the wilderness!" Reina whined.

I laughed quietly, "Yes, yes I do. Don't worry, we're still going to be able to go. Oh, and do you  remember Ryoko?"

Reina brightens up as soon as she hears his name. "Of course! He's that guy who always gives me fish! Is he coming here? Ooh, even better! Does he live here?"

"Nope! You probably won't see him in a long time! I'll go put everything away now~!"

In response, Reina only groaned. I laughed at her whining as I put the groceries away.
