You'd think I would have learned by now
the limitations of my life
as my overwhelming social awkwardness
gets more difficult to hide.

My introverted nature
has become easy for me to understand
however, time and time again, these days
its explanations and excuses that I must find.

Perhaps I should just accept my calling
that solitude is my preferred state
and be honest to others and myself
it's my own company that I crave.
