The wise resist the allure of pleasures fools are slave to. Nothing is enough for those for whom surfeit remains too little. 

I see them overstuff their faces, reach for another drink, search for  more things to own. Am I the only one who knows we know no satisfaction until our greatest satisfaction is simply being?

Until we can teach ourselves to realize contentment doing nothing (and don't mean watching television) we never find it.

Travel? No. Not until it can be done without polluting Earth. Covet riches? Even less so. Spend just to be spending? Never.

Until we embrace above all others the profound pleasure of taking a breath we'll stagger on through life,  knowing nothing.
