Dads dead.

Foster care is shit so why stay here?

What's a 8 year old gonna do? Oh wait I still have my brother Jason.

"Vanna are you even paying attention." Speak of the devil.

"Yeah Jay." I said sitting on the dumpster in the ally way.

"Then what did I just say?"

"Something something blah blah blah." I smiled innocently.

"Ok I'm gonna say it one more time ok." I nodded.

"So the bat-mobile is down crime ally ok." I motioned for him to continue.

"We are going to steal the tiers off of them tried them in and leave Gotham." I was all I till I heard steel tiers from Bat mobile.

"Jason are you stupid what If Batman is there. What would happen i-if he caught us. Jason we already lost mom and dad we can lose each other."

"Were not gonna lose each other Savannah!" He shook my shoulders.

"Im not doing it." I shook my head no.

"Fine but you need to be safe so your still coming with me."

"You can't make me."

"Wanna bet." I knew what that ment

"Jay no don't!!" It was to late I was already over Jason's shoulder."

"Put me down!" I yelled.

"Only if you listen."

"Fine. But I'm not helping." He put me down I had to steady myself to let my blood circulate again.

"Ok there's a dumpster in that alleyway you can hide behind it." We proceeded to walk and my doubt crawled up again.

Jay are you sure we should be doing this I mean it's Batman what if he comes." I asked my older brother.

"Don't be scared Savannah I'll be done it bit he's not gonna find us." Jason told me

"I have a bad feeling about this." Then I see HIM on the roof.

"Jay we should leave like now." I whisper yell

"Savannah hide behind the dumpster." I did what he suggested. Five minutes later Batman came down from the roof. I couldn't really hear the confrontation but then I heard him ask Jason a question.

"Did you have anyone with you like a sibling?"

"Don't sell me out Jay."I whispered to to myself.

"Yeah my little sister she's behind the dumpster." Bitch sold me out. I saw them look over to wear I was hiding. I made a run for it. I heard footsteps behind me so I picked up the pace and ran into a McDonald's to lose them I saw Jason come in and look around then left I came out of my hiding spot and saw him get into the bat-mobile.

Time skip

Finally I lost them. I can't believe he sold me out. Guess it runs in the family.  Dad used to do it to Jason now Jason does it to me.

How the hell am I gonna do this." I thought to myself.

"Oof"already on my own and and I'm in trouble.

"I am so sorry sir I didn't see you."

"It's ok kid." The man said looking at me not in a sexual way but curious.

"Yo kid why you out here by your self."

"Who says im by myself." I said with some sass.

"I like your spunk kid but I know your by your self."

"Im an orphan what's it to you."

"You gotta a place to live." I shook my head no.

"Kid your life is about to get hell of a lot better." We continued walking.

"What you mean...uhh."

"Jonny call me Jonny."

"Ok what you mean Jonny?"

"You look like you can fend for you self. "

"Well I've been here for a year so you gotta do it what you can."

"Kid what if i told you I could get you a job where you get good pay and a home."

"Depends what's the job and who will I be living with?" i asked.

"street fighting and me." he said nonchalantly.

"cool so what i gotta do?"

"first what's your name kid?"

"Savannah my name's Savannah." he nodded.

"well Savannh ill be taking you in ill be like your big brother."

"Thats great because my big bro just ditched me"

"Thats a dick move." i nodded.

"Runs in the family i guess."

"See that's why i moved out the minute i turned 18."

"how old are you now?" i asked walking down the street with him.

"i turned 19 3 weeks ago."the brightest idea popped in my head.

"Party!" i just screamed while we got looks from people.

" You wish kid. Maybe when you get you first win."

"then that shit better happen soon."

"Savannh your 8 what do you even know about parties." i just shrugged.

"were gonna get along great kid."

"Sure just don't get on my bad side." I said watching him dead in the eyes.

"Yeah yeah whatever Vannah." When I heard that name Jason face showed up in my face bringing back what happened a few Minutes ago.

"What?"

"I said 'wha.."

"No no I heard what you said what did you call me?"

"Vannah I called you Vannah. Is something wrong with that?"

"No no it's just something my brother used to call me."

"Oh you don't mind right?"Jonny asked.

"No..not one bit."

5 years later
Jason's Pov
I never found my baby sister now I'm gonna die without seeing her.

"He's dead" I said to my self in my room in Jonny's apartment holding a news paper who's top head line was Jason Todd dead. I couldn't read the rest my big brother is dead. All I can feel right now is anger and regret I should've went with him.

Jonny pulled me into a hug

"It's ok Savanah." I pulled out of his grip and put on my fighting clothes

"Come let go"

"Vannah your brother just died and you wanna fight."

"Best way to take out my anger. Punch someone in the face. Both you and Jason taught me that now I'm taking it." I grabbed the cat keys and headed to Jonny's car sitting in the passenger's seat as he sat in the driver seat.

Needless to say I sent someone to the hospital that night. All that went thought my head was I should have gotten more time. Guess it's to late now.
