You had just gotten a mew puppy after you gave your
last one to your aunt. Sadie however, never met your new
pup, so of course you had to ask her to come over.

Sadie had just walked in, courtesy of your mom. As you heard the creaking of the staircase, a smile appeared across your lips. You knew it was Sadie, your best friend since babies in diapers.

As Sadie walked closer and closer to your bedroom, you quickly bribed your pup into the closet so you could surprise her. Just as you were closing the closet, Sadie walked in.

"Heyyyy. What's on the agenda for today?" She announced.

You quickly turned around, a bit startled. It's one thing to hear someone down the hall but sadie's like a ninja sometimes.

"You've got to stop doing that!" You exclaimed.

Sadie crossed her arms over her chest, "I announced myself this time."

"Barley." You mumbled under your breath.

"What?" Sadie had looked up from her phone.

You didn't even realize she pulled it out or when. You sighed placing your hand on the knob of your closet door, "I have a surprise and I know you're going to hate me for not telling you sooner but . . . " You opened the door and the puppy walked out.

Sadie's eyes grew big. She immediately leaned down and started to play with the puppy, "What's their name?"

"His name is ziggy." You walked over and joined them with a smile.
