technically kidnapping but they wanted to leave, death, mentions of kidnapping but this time they didn't want it, falling off a cliff (not wanting to die)

Heads up that this is long- like- it has more then twice the words of all the other chapters combined

Clay/Grey- when he came out as trans his mom didn't accept him and after a little while kicks him out. His friends where the only ones who supported him before one had to move away and the other only became friends with him through her gf. One day he meets Iris (Nature) and the two quickly become friends. The two are hanging out one day when Clay gets hurt and goes unconscious. When he wakes up Iris is healing him with magic and explains the truth to him, effectively breaking all of his reality. When he's offered the chance to get magic and become a color, being able to leave the world and forget about his mom, he accepts.

Biana/Magenta- (was explained in her chapter but here's the recap and more details) she was born into a futuristic world where a small part of the populations tears weren't normal. Some where drinks like milk or coke, some where blood, hers where metal. When she had happy tears she cried gold, when sad platinum, and when fake crying it was silver. She met someone who quickly became her boyfriend and everything was fine for a while. She met and became friends with Kace (Void) and the two would talk a lot. After seeing tear streaks on Biana's face so many times Kace asks her about it and learns that her boyfriend was having money struggles and asked her to cry all the time so he could afford things, saying he would pay her back. He never did. After a big fight between the two friends and the thought that her boyfriend might be using her she went back home when he bf was on a call with someone mentioning he's rich because of her and that he doesn't care for her, only the tears. She has a brake down and packs her bags and leaves. She was the one paying for the apartment but didn't want to confront him about it. After sitting alone for a while stuck in her thoughts she hesitantly messaged Kace asking if she could stay with her for a while. After moving in with Kace and eventually braking up with her bf she noticed Kace acting weird and asked her if she was ok, to wich Kace mentioned she hasn't seen her sister in a while but was too busy to visit. Biana encourages her to visit and Kace does, offering to take Biana to meet her but she declines. When she comes back from the trip she seems to be panicking a bit but tried to play it cool. Biana was concerned but didn't ask about it. (What happened to Kace here- she visited Sin (Abyss) and asked her about what it was like when she met Lorli (Sin's color). She explained that it was like you felt more calm and comforted arround them, and could feel where they where one you met them. There's probably more stuff by I haven't thought about it much.) when she notices Kace start to avoid her though she asks her about it, wanting to see if she did something wrong and if she's ok, when Kace cries and reveals it all and that she knew Biana was suppose to be her color but she wanted her to live a normal life. She comforts her and agrees to becoming a color, jokingly saying something like 'I've needed a change of pace for a while now."

Olivia/Orange- (there's so many parts to her backstory it could be it's own book- will wait until her chapter or make a separate book. If anyone wants the basics I can say them though)

Lorli/Purple- (I have two different backstories for her but one I'm scrapping for reasons and the other is set after she became a color. The one from after she became a color is intertwined with Switch's so I'll put it in their chapter)

Simon/Blue- (his isnt very thought out and I don't remember much but I'll put what I know) he's from a futuristic works and is studying to be a engineer or stm like that and is renting out an apartment with his roommate, Jay (Universe). It's how the two met.

Millie/Yellow- (I'll be reworking hers but I'll put what I'm keeping from it) she and her friend where sick of how things where going and knew they couldn't stay. They planned for weeks on how to escape and one night did it. The two ran off when their captors started chasing them. Both of them where scared for their lives when her friend said for her to run, she'll meet up with her later. Millie listened to her, but regretted it in seconds when she was climbing the fence and turned back to see her friend dying. She didn't have time to go back for her or else she would meet the same fate and jumped the fence. After making it over she continued to run before being cornered at a cliff. She could hear the people shouting and she made a decision to jump. She fell and everything after that was a blur before waking up inside a cave with someone changing her bandages. She learns that the person who saved her's name was Vix (death). While she was healing Vix would tell her stories which she later learned to be true, about adventures and a group of magical people like gods. One day the captors she ran from came across the cave and where pissed, wanting to take Millie back dead or alive. Vix defended the hybrid from them and ended up scaring them off with her magic, if any of them even touched her or Millie they would die. Millie was terrified and Vix tried to comfort her but she only flinched away. It took a while for them to repair their relationship but eventually they where able to be comfortable around each other after a long time. Millie asks Vix why she saved her, death, being seen as bringing death wherever they go. Vix reveals to her that there's a reason she saved her, she felt a pull twards the hybrid and that it matched up with what the other representatives said it was like to find a color but didn't want to rush into things or not have Millie know or be comfortable with anything and that she wouldn't do anything if it made her uncomfortable and that they could just forget about it if she liked. Millie was shocked by the reveal and nodded, taking in the information and said "ok." Vix looked up at her confused, Millie explained she would like to meet the others before she decides if she would want to be a color or not. The rest is history

(I realized as I was writing hers that her being a black cat hybrids fits so much with being death's color- black cats are useually seen as unlucky and (according to google) in the Middle Ages people started seeing them as a sign of death and that if you saw one you where going to die soon, fitting in with the theme of death. At the same time some cultures see them as lucky, which I feel like could be added into her character)

(For some context for the next two, Ashly and Asher are the same person from alternate universes where Ashly is a girl with wings, and Asher is a boy in a universe with no hybrids)

Ashly/Maroon- She was born with fluffy brown wings similar to a barn owls. There wernt many hybrids in the world, with many seeing them as less human then 'normal' people. Her parents didn't like that she had wings and fought a lot, her dad thinking her mom cheated and her mom yelling at her dad for thinking she would do such a thing. She lived with them until she was twelve when she went to live with her grandma on her dads side. She revealed to Ashly that she had wings too but hid them to keep herself and her family safe. She taught Ashly a lot about her instincts and how to take care of her wings, even taught her to fly. She met Nicky at school one day, the dark haired girl standing up for her when bullied tried to steal her lunch and tear out her feathers. The two quickly became friends. (Skip to after Asher)

Asher/Crimson- he never really had friends. People always thought of him as weird and avoid him.
He meets Nicky one day in the library and she helped him study and find a book he was looking for. The two weren't really friends but more had a mutual understanding between each other. He would help her with math and she was on the popular side at school and so she helped him get included more during activities.

Both the Ashes: both the blonds found it strange that Nicky would disappear for days on end before reappearing and acting like nothing happened, or mentioning things that didn't happen when she acted like they did. Then one day Nicky tells both of them that she needs to tell them something important and takes both of them to a weird world that looks like the night sky. It was trippy to both of them because it felt so weird, they've never teleported before and didn't know that it was possible, and they met eachother, another version of themself that looked so different and yet so similar at the same time. After getting over the 'there's two me's except they arnt me' thing they confronted Nicky on why she wanted to see them, how they got here, and how is there two of them. Nicky explains it all, that she's like a god, their in the void, and that their alternate universe versions of eachother. It messed with their views of reality for a bit but the two where able to keep in contact through Nicky giving them phones that could connect between worlds and offering to teleport them to the same places when they wanted and the two agreed. The three hung out for a while and became good friends, the Ashes being confused for twins a lot and messing with people because of that sometimes, and Nicky helping the two pull pranks. After a while she offers to make them colors, saying they could stay i. Their current worlds of they'd like to and the two agree. They both stayed until Ashly's grandma passed (the other two helped her when she was mourning) and Asher graduated highschool. Then they left.

(Fun Fact, originally the Ashes had a different backstory where they where from the same world, knew eachother, and where youtubers. I can explain that one if people want too hear it, lol)
