"Father I don't see why I need extra protection. You've already assigned 20 guards at my foot. I don't need more" I tried to argue with him. I honestly see this pointless

"I know darling but we need to keep you safe. You'll be the future ruler of Alderaan and our only child. We can't afford to loose you" he sighed. He's been so stressed since the attempted assassination of me occurred last week.

"But do I have to leave Alderaan?"

"Yes it is needed. You will stay on Coruscant where the Jedi will watch after you and keep you safe"  I sighed. I can't leave now. It's only a couple more months until my coronation. I haven't learned everything I need to. But I know I'll still be sent away.

"I do not have a saying in this, do I?" I asked sadly

"I'm sorry but no." He stood up and wrapped his arms around my small frame. I feel a single tear fall down my cheek. I pulled away and quickly wiped the tears away. He smiled sadly as he cupped my cheeks

"Rest now. You need to wake up early tomorrow. Master Kenobi and his apprentice will arrive and pick you up" I nodded and watch as he leaves my bedroom. I look around observing my room taking in everything. I sat down on my bed as I think. What will happen to me on Coruscant? Will they find me there? And who is Master Kenobi?
