I felt a soothing sensation on my hand. The touch was warm and comforting. And also very familiar. I slowly opened my eyes. A pair of bright blue eyes stare back into mine.

"Mother?" I muttered as my eyes adjusted to the lighting. She nodded as
Tears build up in her eyes. She brought her hand up and caressed my left cheek.

"My baby girl..." She muttered as she hugged my body. I slowly wrapped my arms around her frame. It was now that I realized how much I missed her.
She pulled back and wiped away her tears. She took a seat back down beside my bed. I looked around and wasn't familiar with my surroundings. Last I remember I was on Alderaan.

"Mother? Where am I?"

"Coruscant. The Jedi temple to be exact"she smiled. But I could see something else in her eyes. I'm not sure what but I think I have a clear idea.

"Am I your true daughter?" I asked out of the blue. Her expression turned grim then nervous.

"Of course you-" she tried to explain but I interrupted her.

"No. Tell me the truth. Am I your child?" I demanded.

"No" she choked out as she began crying. I could feel myself beginning to tear up aswell.

"Why did you never tell me?" I asked her sadly refusing to look at her. I always had doubt that I wasn't but I refused to believe it until now. When my mother told me she never birthed me.

"You're father and I thought it was for the best. I'm so sorry" she cried harder. "I understand if you hate us but believe me when I tell you it was for the best" I grabbed her hand and held it in my own, smiling sadly.

"I could never hate you or father. I love you both too much. But why couldn't you just told me from the beginning?"

"Astoria you have to understand. If the noble houses find out you aren't related to us then a war will rage once again. Each house will fight for the throne. And it will bring our kingdom into darkness" she explained. I thought about it. I can't let me people suffer for my own needs. I need a moment of private time.

"Mother if you don't mind, I'd like to walk around" I asked.

"Yes, yes of course" she pulled her hands back and placed them behind me, pulling me into a sitting position.

"Do you want me to come with you?" I shook my head.

"No it's alright. I want to clear some things out of my mind" she nodded knowingly.
I walked through some corridors until I stumble upon a small shrine. I was curious to see what it was so I slowly walked towards it. Inside was statues of men and women alike. In the middle laid a small pond. I walked towards the pond and kneeled next to it.

"I wonder?"

I dipped my hand into the pond and I felt a cold rush emit through my body. I pulled my hand out and a thin layer of ice formed onto the surface of the water.

"Astoria?"
