Night 1

Joey rested his head on Xornoth's chest, not leaving his side. Listening to his slow heartbeat was the one thing that comforted him in knowing that xornoth was going to be okay, tears stained his cheeks, and he snuggled close to xornoth under the blankets. The night was cold but gave security to Joey's thoughts.

Day 1

Joey woke up and waited hopefully for Xornoth to wake up, Xornoth always woke up in the early mornings, one of the things the avian love about his lover, the maid walked in with a tray of food.

Maid: King Joey, please eat today... you refused to eat last night... you need to eat for the baby.

Joey nodded, dark circles forming under his eyes as he stood up and walked to the chair and ate the delicious fluffy waffles that were prepared for him. He spent the rest of the day reading about the nether's flora and silently hoping for Xornoth to wake up. That night, he fell asleep on the chair, the maid covering his body with a warm blanket.

Day 2

Joey woke up and crawled into bed next to Xornoth, listening to his heartbeat until the maid came with tea and a muffin. He spent the morning watching a sad TV drama movie while eating extra cheesy popcorn despite the maid telling him it'll only make him sadder. She was right, but... what else could he have watched?

At 12, the maid brought him a deli sandwich with a smoothie, and he read
more in the book about the nether so fascinated in it he was trilling, he then got bored and went back to lay on Xornoth to listen to his heartbeat and cried for a while.

At 6 the maid came with a steak and a fruit salad with some water, he ate then watched a documentary about the pale garden, getting the chills whenever he saw the creaking. He went to bed early changing into Xornoth's favorite of Joey's nightgowns, a red silky one with a black bow tied on the back, falling asleep listening to his lovers heartbeat again, hoping he would wake up.

Day 3

Joey woke up as routine and listened to his lover, crying softly at the thought that he may never wake up. The maid walked in and he ate buttered bagels and a fruit salad with a glass of orange juice. Then, he spent the rest of the morning listening to music with his headphones, finishing the book about nether flora.

At lunch, he had tomato soup and a glass of water. He spent the afternoon watching my little pony and doing kingly paperwork and getting emotional due to the fact Xornoth would always take care of that.

During the evening, he ate ate a burger and sweet potato fries with a milkshake. He went for a walk in the garden, picking flowers to replace the dead ones on Xornoth's bedside, then calling Shelby to catch up before resting his head on Xornoth's chest kissing him on the forehead before slipping off into a slow sleep

Day 4

Joey woke up and ate a bowl of oatmeal and started stretching when he heard a noise behind him, he turns to greet the maid when he saw Xornoth sitting up. He ran over to him practically throwing himself on Xornoth.

Xornoth: god, my head hurts

Joey: Xorny! You're awake

He started to cry

Xornoth: woah joey whats wrong, baby?

Joey: i-i thought you were never gonna wake up. You scared me...

He started sobbing

Xornoth: Wait... how long was I asleep for?

Joey: 3 days

Xornoth: Oh god, Joey, I'm so sorry...

Joey: DONT APOLOGIZE IDIOT, you jerk...I was so scared you died... and then you wouldn't wake up! I thought I lost you for good...

Xornoth held Joey, and the maid walked in with an extra bowl of oatmeal,

Maid: Here's your food, King Xornoth.

She served him a tray, and he ate quickly

Xornoth: Wow, I didn't realize I was so hungry,

Joey giggled, and Xornoth smiled.
