Chapter six

Midoryia looked over at Bakugo, a smile on his face, "mom still packed extra for you, even after we stopped talking."

"That was nice of her, I miss her," he admits.

"You're welcome to come over any time, mom would love to see you again, even though I stopped talking, she still asks about you every day without fail."

"Mom would kill y'all then kill me," Bakugo sighs, looking down.

"You really need to just go to the police, I mean there's plenty of evidence on you alone, not to mention, you have me and your father as a witness!"

"No, I don't!" Bakugo growls, "I can deal with it, end of discussion!"

"For now, " Midoryia mutters, handing him his extra food, "here." Bakugo didn't say anything as he started to eat slowly, not wanting to make himself sick. As the two teens were eating, Kirishima, who had decided to follow them, peeks onto the roof, curious about Bakugo. Watching Bakugo eat, Kirishima almost fell, opening the door wider, but thankfully, the two teens didn't notice, since Kirishima caught himself.

Candy quickly followed after Todorokie, "hey wait up!" He yells out.

"Yes? What is it?" Todoroki asks, turning around.

"So um, we're cousins, I doubt Enji ever told you about me, he never liked us, I just wanted you to know. I came to this school to find you actually. I do wanna become a hero, but you were my main reason for applying to this school."

"Cousins?" Todorokie asks, tilting his head, "really?"

"Yes, I get it if you don't want anything to do with me, I just wanted to let you know."

"I wouldn't mind getting to know you, but what made you wait so long to tell me?"

"I never could find you until today and then I wasn't sure how to approach you about it."

Todorokie nods, "now that we have that out in the open, we should talk about it later, right now I need to think about the situation involving the trash I call a father."

Candy nods, "right, let me know if you need something." Todorokie nods, walking off, adding something else to his list to think about. Candy makes his way over to the table of the Baku-squad, sitting down beside the ) black haired boy he sat beside in class. "Hey Sero!"

"Oh, hey Candy!" Sero exclaims, smiling. If Candy was being honest, he had a lot of fun with Sero in class and wanted to become good friends with him, he hoped Sero felt the same, which he figured he did. Who doesn't want friends?

"So what did you eat for lunch today?" Candy asks, since he was busy watching Bakugo and Midoryia, and talking to Shoto, he didn't really notice what everyone ate, he hadn't even ate yet, but that was because of all the drama, he kinda just forgot.

"Oh, I had the beef stew," Sero says, smiling, "what about you?"

"After the Bakugo and Midoriya thing, I went to talk to Shoto and I forgot."

"Wait, you're on a first name basis with him already?" Sero asks, wide eyed.

"He's my cousin," Candy explains, causing Sero's jaw to drop.

"Oh, that's cool, but you need to eat, you can have the rest of mine if you want, there's still half a bowl left, I'm getting full, plus the lunch line is already closed."

"Are you sure? I can eat at home, I don't want to be rude."
"Don't worry about it, I ate and now you need to eat," Sero says, pushing the bowl towards Candy.

"Thanks Sero, this means a lot."

"Of course!" Sero exclaims, smiling brightly. Candy smiled back and started to eat the other half of the beef stew, it was really good to be from a school. Sero watched Candy eat out of the corner of his eye, not wanting to look insane. Candy took small bites and ate gracefully, making Sero chuckle, he liked the way Candy ate, although, he would never admit it to anyone, that's a weird thing to say, you don't just casually bring up in conversation that you like the way someone eats.

"So, do you still want that piece of candy after school?" Candy asks, looking over at Sero.

"Hell yeah I do!" Sero exclaims, grinning, causing Candy to chuckle and nod.

Meanwhile, Momo made her way over to Todorokie who was sitting under a cherry blossom tree, lost in thought. "Todoroki!" Momo calls out, running up to him. Todoroki, who didn't hear her, continued to sit where he was, eyes closed, hands behind his head, not making any indication that he was aware of Momo's presence. "Todoroki!" Momo calls again, plopping herself down beside him.

Since Momo was closer this time, Todoroki actually heard her. "Hmm?" He asks, not bothering to open his eyes, knowing who it was from the voice.

"Are you good?" Momo asks, "I noticed you didn't eat a lot at lunch."

"Fine, just had a lot to think about," Todoroki says, kinda monotone.

"Oh alright, is that why you're out here alone?"

"Yep."

"Do I need to leave you alone?" Momo asks, starting to feel kind of awkward.

"No."

"Oh, alright, cool." Momo scoots closer to Todoroki and joins him in silence, the two of them just sitting there, however while Todorki's eyes were closed, Momo was busy staring at him. She loved the way his eyebrows scrunched up when he was thinking, and how calm he looked other than the scrunched up eyebrows. Momo decided to just enjoy the silence and company with Todoroki for a bit. However, minutes passed by when she heard shouting coming from the roof. Confused as to who was on the roof, she looked up to see Bakugo and Midoryia sitting beside each other, it looked like Midoryia was trying to get him to eat, but Bakugo was refusing? She didn't see him eat anything in the lunch room either, was he just not hungry? "Hey Todoroki, " Momo starts, turning towards him, "do you know anything about the Bakugo and Midoriya people?"

Not really, why?" He asks, kinda monotone.

"They're both arguing on the roof so I was just kinda curious. "

"That must be why I couldn't find Midoryia earlier, I was gonna try and eat lunch with him today."

"Why don't we go see what they're arguing about?" Momo suggests.

"Sure, I have nothing better to do," he says, making his way towards the roof, Momo following suit. The two teens make their way up to the roof, not exchanging words. After about five minutes of walking, they open the door to the roof, accidentally bumping into a spiky red head, causing the three of them to tumble onto the roof, causing Bakugo and Midoryia to look their way.

"What are the three of you extras doing up here?" Bakugo shouts.

"Todoroki and I heard yelling so we came to see what was going on, although I'm not sure about Kirishima," Mmo explains, causing Bakugo to roll his eyes. He then turned to Kirishima, awaiting his shitty explanation.

"Oh uh, I also came because I heard arguing," Kirishima lies, looking everywhere but Bakugo and Midoryia. Midoryia could tell he was lying but decided not to say anything as he didn't know the reason, he figured there could be a good reason and didn't want to pry.

Bakugo just rolled his eyes, "stop eavesdropping on conversations!" He growls.

"R-right, sorry about that Bakubro!" Kirishima exclaims, not thinking about the name he just called Bakugo.

"What's with that nickname?" Bakugo asks, acting slightly disgusted. He was caught off guard and wasn't really sure how else to react.

"Oh uh, I don't know what came over me, sorry bro."

"Whatever," Bakugo says, rolling his eyes once more, he couldn't explain it, but something happened when Kirishima used that nickname, it was a flutter in his stomach, he was confused by the feeling but decided to just dismiss it, he can always put some thought into it later.

"Why don't we go back to the lunchroom? The bells gonna ring soon anyways," Midoryia suggests, noticing the tension around these two.

"That's a good idea," Momo says, speaking up for the first time in a few minutes. "We wouldn't want to be late."

Bakugo rolls his eyes and makes his way towards the stairs, Midoryia and Kirishima following suit. Momo turns to To do to kill, sighing, "this is gonna be one hell of a year, " she mutters, causing Todoroki to nod in agreement, before the two of them also head down the stairs.

The Baku-squad ends up collecting Bakugo and Kirishima, much to Bakugos dismay, while the Deku-squad ends up collecting Momo, Todoroki, and Midoryia on the way to class.

Once everyone got back to class, they went to the same seats from before, even though they didn't have assigned seats, which would make sense since humans are creatures of habit. They were in aclassroom that looked like the last one, they just had a different teacher, a louder teacher, who unbeknownst to them was married to their quiet homeroom teacher.
