"And..... Done," the mother smiled as I finished doing her youngest daughter's hair.
"Thank you, Mummy," she beamed happily.
"Ciara, love... We're gonna be late," her husband said as he finished buttoning his good vest, walking into the room.
"Almost done," she said, standing up, already in her new gown. "Its not everyday we get invited to a Royal Wedding, Ben. We all have to look our best."
"Still hard to believe it..... A Warhol, a Lieseil and a Visigoth all in one, and now she's marrying a Blackwell.... What are the odds?"
"I still can't believe it much either..... Plus the fact we become members of her newly formed court?" Ciara smiled.
"Surprised they let me join after letting everyone finish that witch off," he grumbled.
"What witch?" Theo asked curiously, his tie still messily done as his older brother walked in, already dressed, along with his older sister.
"Ben, please... Not in front of the children," Ciara scolded, standing up. "The danger has passed, the Founder's have even given us this home after our old one has been destroyed. We can move on now...."
Ben frowned before walking over and pulling his wife into his arms, surprising her.
"I'm sorry..... I-I was just so scared, Ciara...." he muttered to her nervously. "Every day since they took you, I feared for you and the children...."
Ciara frowned. It was clear just how scared her husband was before she was finally rescued and reunited with him.
She then wrapped her arms around him and hugged him close.
"You can't even imagine what it was like in that mansion..... All the death and horror....." she said. "I'm just glad I escaped, and found you again...."
He smiled when suddenly....
"Mother....?" Fae spoke as she adjusted her skirt.
"Yes, dear?" Ciara asked as she and Ben looked at their eldest child, who stood with her brother, Fynn.
"Is it true?" Fynn asked. "That... That you are friends with The Lost Princess...?"
Ciara and Ben looked at each other, before Ciara smiled and knelt down in front of her children.
"Why, yes.... I am friends with Princess Dream," she said. "After all, she helped bring our family back together...."
"Wait, is she who the story was about?" Fae asked. "Back at the refugee center in Wismont Island....."
"I remember that story!" Theo said excitedly. "Father taught us the story back on the Island after we heard other children talk about her!!"
Ciara looked up at her husband amusingly as he bashfully looked away.
"Can you tell us the story of the Lost Princess again?" Rosie asked me, tugging on her father's hand. "Pleeeeease!?"
Ciara chuckled and smiled as she and Ben looked at each other, and he smiled back.
"Alright, we'll tell you the story, but we have to be heading out soon before the carriage arrives, so we'll make it quick," Ben assured.
The children cheered and gathered around as we settled in their sitting room, Rosie climbing onto Ben's lap.
Flynn and Fae sat on either side of their parents as Theo sat on his mother's lap.
"Now.... Once upon a time.... A couple, who were very powerful aristocrats, called the big castle in the outskirts their home..." Ben started as Rosie rested against her father.
"There was the Duchess, mysterious as she was beautiful.... and the Alchemist, our founder, who though stubborn and cold at times, he was also very intelligent and handsome...." Ciara stated, wrapping her arms around her youngest son. "They were so in love, and helped rule and protect the land and realms alongside each other...."
The children listened with anticipation as the two parents continued.
"One day, the Duchess found out that she was with child..... A child of Founder's Blood," Ben explained. "A child who was to rule the land once they were of age...."
"However, on the day that the child, a destined princess soon to be queen, was born, a terrifying force lead by two evil tyrants swept the land and people, wanting to take the princess for their own," Ciara said. "So they set everything ablaze, destroying everything in their wake, and fought to try and take the princess..... Many died trying to fight off the evil forces....."
The children stared in shock. After all, their parents were only barely even toddlers when the fires happened, so this was practically a history lesson to the children, but nonetheless scary to think about.
"The couple was left with no choice but to give up their newborn baby girl in order to make sure the evil tyrants didn't take her, and so everything they knew and loved can survive...." Ciara said sadly. "So, they sent the princess to a far away land in order to keep her safe...."
"What happened to the Duchess?" Fynn, asked.
"And the Alchemist?" Fae asked, looking at her parents.
"Well..... The Duchess sadly died from a broken heart that same night, for the separation was too much for her...." Ciara said sadly.
"As for the Alchemist, he was chased out of town after getting the princess to safety," Ben continued, holding Rosie in his arms. "For it was not safe for him anymore, and without his family he was weak....."
The children's eyes widen as Rosie clung to her father, not wanting to imagine being separated from him.
"What about the princess?" she asked with a frown, looking up worriedly.
"The princess was lost into the many realms, hence her name... The Alchemist was forced to watch his daughter grow up from afar, unaware of who she really was and what became of her family, in a challenging world from another dimension.... Separated from both her and his country....." Ben explained. "The Alchemist prayed every day to the Void, and all the gods known of every realm as well, that one day she would find her way back home, save her people.... And avenge her family....." said.
"To which.... She eventually did, with help from a young vampire, adopted by Founders himself, along with his brothers, and their friends," Ciara said happily. "Together, they fought hard to free her land from the tyranny that clouded it. The princess fought every battle imaginable, of mind, body and soul, before succeeding to free her country and her father as well...."
The children seemed relieved by this new part of the story.
"The country rejoiced, as they welcomed their Queen back home, and she ruled with kindness and bravery, " Ciara said happily.
"And that, is the story of The Lost Princess of the Void," Ben smiled as he hugged Rosie.
"Who started the story?" Theo asked.
"Well, no one really knows, love," Ciara said. "Even we knew the story as children, so its a tale as old as we can remember....."
The children all looked at each other curiously before their father clapped his hands.
"Alright, story time's over. Let's finish getting ready or else we'll be late," he announced.
His children all got up and scurried about as then he and Ciara stood up and held each other.
"Its a new day," Ciara said to her husband.
He smiled as they shared a kiss, then went to get ready.

{•Dream•}
I sat at the mirror as Leda and Larisa pinned my hair up a little.
"You look beautiful, your highness," Leda smiled.
I smiled at them as I sat there, in my silk robe as I made sure my make up was alright.
Today is finally the day.
Not only do I become Queen of the Obsidian Empire and her people, but I also become Remington's wife.
Right now I was in my room with Larisa and Leda as they helped me get ready, while everyone else was out preparing the chapel and the ballroom.
However, I was so deep in thought with a lot right now, as my thoughts of today kept pestering me.
I wish I could say its because I will be crowned as ruler like I was intended to long ago.
I wish I could say its because I wanted to look my best for when I said "I do" to the man I loved.
If anything.... It was something very important that's been overlooked a bit...
"Dream..." a voice said, pulling me from my thoughts.
"Wha... H-Huh?" I asked, snapping out of it.
"Did you hear what I said?" she asked.
I looked away in embarrasment. "N-No... Sorry, Larisa, I...... My head was somewhere else....."
She frowned. "Are you alright?"
"Is it cold feet?" Leda asked curiously.
"Leda," Larisa scolded, but then paused. "Wait..... Is it?"
"No, no! No.... No cold feet.... It.... Its something else.... I don't how to explain it?" I said, standing up, still fidgeting with the ring on my finger.
"Well, what can we do to help?" Larisa asked me.
I frowned and stopped pacing, but looked back. "I-I don't think you can be able to help me with this situation....."
Larisa was confused, and looked slightly hurt.
"W-Wait, I didn't mean it like that, Larisa!" I quickly said, holding her hands. "I-I mean.... Its something else, something I've had in my mind for a long while now.... That only I and.... Remington..... Only he and I can solve this ourselves....."
She relaxed a bit, but still seemed a bit confused.
"Alright.... What do you want to do?" she asked curiously. "Anything I or Leda are able to helo with?"
I pursed my lips in thought, then took a deep breath.
"Ummm... This is gonna sound untraditional and strange, but..... Can you summon Remington here, please?" I asked.
Her and Leda's eyes widen in surprise at my.
"B-But.... Isn't that bad luck?" Leda asked.
"I know.... Look, I don't really believe much in that, but I need to speak to him in private.... I can stand behind that screen if anything," I said. "Please....."
They both looked at each other, before reluctantly agreeing.
"Chase, come in for a moment, please?" Larisa called out.
Soon there was a soft knock at the door before Chase entered, and then bowed. "Your highnesses...."
"This will sound strange, but...... Summon Lord Aldous here, please...." Larisa said.
His eyes widen in surprise at the request. "I-I don't understand..."
"Just.... Please, do so..." she urged him.
He pursed his lips in question, but then nodded his head. "As you wish, your majesty...." he said, ans stepped out.
Larisa and Leda then looked at me before Larisa stepped up.
"Be honest with me.... Is everything alright?" she asked. "You can tell us...."
I gulped and looked at her. "Just.... Just thinking..... I'm fine, I promise, its just..... A lot Remington and I need to discuss for ourselves, and.... It can't wait....."
She looked at me questioningly, but then nodded assuringly. "I understand...."
She then stood up straight. "Let's give them a moment, Leda.... We can see if they need any help in the ballroom or chapel."
Leda nodded and bowed before following Larisa out, and leaving me in the room.
I stood up and sighed as I walked over, pulling the screen open and standing behind it as I waited.
Our vows replayed in my head over and over again, and all I could think about was if its even possible for them to be true....
There is only one way..... Question is, would he agree....?
I paced behind the screen before I heard the door open.
"Dream?" Remington's voice said. "Are you here?"
"Remington....?" I said. "I-I'm back here...."
"Oh okay," he said as I heard him walking closer to the screen.
"I agreed to stay behind this thing... Wedding superstitions and stuff," I sighed.
"Yeah, Larisa told me... She threatened to have her and Shy bash my head open if I peeked," he chuckled with a scoff.
I laughed softly and rolled my eyes. Only them...
"Is everything okay?" He asked me.
"Ummm... I guess...." I sighed.
"Don't tell me your getting second thoughts.... I finally managed to tie my own tie here," he joked.
I couldn't help but laugh, standing close to the screen. "No.... Of course no second thoughts...."
He laughed softly as I feel him getting closer, soon stnading where I was. "Then what kind of thoughts do you have?"
I sighed. "Its just.... I was thinking.... How can our vows be made true if they can't be...?" I sighed sadly.
He was quiet before speaking to me.
"Wh-What do you mean?" he asked.
I frowned. "For better or for worse... For richer or poor.... In sickness and in health.... To love and to cherish, until....." I mumbled, reciting them as I then feel tears starting to burn in my eyes.
He was quiet, then sighed. "Until.... Death do us part....." he finished.
I pursed my lips and felt tears prick my eyes. "You're immortal, Remington..... You'll be young forever, live eternally, and see the ends of time, and... I'll grow old, get sick and... I-I'll die one day...."
"Dream, don't say that," he said.
"It's the truth, Remington!" I exclaimed, stepping out from the back of the screen, his eyes widening in surprise.
Screw that damn wedding superstition anyway.
There he stood, blonde hair sleeked back a bit and in an elegant black suit trimmed with red and with Obsidian medals.
"Dream....." He said solemnly.
"How could I ever let you live just to watch me die?" I said, my voice shaking a bit. "To be driven to the point of insanity like I was when you were the one that was gone.... How is that fair to my mate?"
He looked at me before walking over.
"I.... I-I want to spend forever with you..... Remington, you're my life, my heart......" I said, letting him embrace me in his arms as I felt tears prick my eyes.
"And you are my life and heart as well..... Losing you, even if slowly, is what will end me in more ways than one....." he said, then looked down at me with pained brown eyes.
I pursed my lips as I held him
"There is only one solution..... However, something tells me that deep down.... You already knew that," he said, a slight frown in his face.
I pursed my lips and looked down. "I did..... I've thought about it before, I'll admit, but now..... Now I'm sure that....."
He looked over nervously, then walked over, placing his hands on my shoulders.
"You do know what this will mean, though, right?" he said. "You'd be like me... Like Emerson, Sebastian, Larisa, Shy....... All of us...... You'll be a child of the night, having to depend on blood in order to survive..... The mortals around you know will grow old and die..... You'll be giving yourself up to the shadows for all eternity......"
I gulped and nodded. "I-I know the cost....." I said. "I'm willing to pay it.... For you....."
He looked up. "Are you sure, my love?"
I knew the price. I knew what this would mean.
Even if their immortality is different from Remington and the others, my father and uncles will still age. They will grow weak. They eventually take their last breath.....
I, on the other hand, will outlive even their next lives.....
However, I have made my choice. This is what I want.
Just like my mother did years before, I choose love....
......Eternal Love....
I took a deep breath and nodded at him. "I'm sure...."
He nodded before coming up to me as our lips pressed against each other, kissing passionately.
I held him tightly in my arms, as if it were the last time I would hold him.
I finally bid farewell to mortality.....
We remained that way, one final kiss, before he pulled back.
"Are you ready?" he asked me.
I nodded, smiling softly up at him. "I am...."
He pursed his lips and nodded as his eyes went red.
I kissed his lips one last time before relaxing in his arms, and then bared my neck to him.
He wrapped his arms around me, holding me close before kissing the soft spot on my neck.
I closed my eyes, and next thing I knew, his fangs dug into my throat.....
{•Sebastian•}
"Is everything almost ready?" I asked Billie and Jay as we stood in the ballroom, preparing for the reception while Shy was with Victoria and Ethan preparing the Blackwell Chapel.
"We are just waiting for word from the kitchen," Billie assured as Emerson walked up to me, along with Larisa and Leda.
"Excellent, thank you," I said, then turned to them. "Everything alright?"
"Hope so. The bride needed a moment," Emerson stated, motioning to Chase, Larisa and Leda.
I looked at them in confusion. "What do you mean she-"
I gasped as I stopped, suddenly feeling something in the air, my vision going red as my body went stiff
I then saw that Emerson also seemed to notice it as well, along with Shy, Larisa, Leda and the other vampires present as their eyes went wide and they stiffened in surprise.
They all looked around in confusion.
"Something happened......" Larisa spoke, looking at me.
I looked around before realized something....
"Where is Remington?" I asked, looking at Emerson.
"The bride asked to see him...." He added as then Lieseil and the Warhol's stepped over to us.
"What's going on?" Alister asked.
I tried to process things and that's when I smelled it, and looked like Emerson did as well.
Dream's blood.....
"No...." I said, realizing what has happened.
"Dream...." Emerson said in shock.
The Warhol's and Lieseil looked at me and each other worriedly before we broke into a run.
Remington..... What have you done!?
Lieseil, the Warhol's and I quickly rushed towards Dream's room, maneuvering through the halls.
That's when we got to where Dream's room was, and stopped dead in our tracks.
There at the end stood Remington, walking down the hall, blood on his lips and smeared around his mouth, eyes red.
"Remington...." I said in shock.
He did it....
He looked up at us, looking nervous.
"What have you done to her, boy?!" Liesiel snapped in anger.
That's when the doors to Dream's bedroom opened and....
"It's alright, Father..... Uncles....." a voice said, making us turn and freezing where we stood.
There stood Dream, still in her white silk robe, blood smeared on the side of it, and on her lips.
That's when I realized something and my eyes widen.
"My gods...." I said as she looked up at us.....
"Dream...." Alister said in shock.
Her eyes glowed red as she stepped up, blood also dripping from her lips...
Remington's blood.....
Her hair was still now, with some red streaks, and she was slightly paler than usual, and she seemed stronger.
"I chose this....." she said, fangs protruding from her bloody lips.
Everyone stared in shock as she walked over and held Remington's hand as he looked over at her, a small smile on his face.
That's when Emerson and the others came over and were taken back by what they saw before them.
"By the Void.... I-Is she....?" Larisa said in shock.
I looked over at them and nodded. "Yes....."
They were speechless as I looked back at them.
Lieseil and the Warhol's looked at each other before looking back at Dream, who softly stroked her cheek in his hand.
"Your skin is like ice...." he mumbled softly.
She looked up, a bit of nervousness in her eyes.
"This is truly what you wanted, my dear?" Lieseil asked his daughter.
Dream looked at Remington, smiling at him, before looking back at her father and nodding her head. "Yes.... This is what I choose......" she assured him.
Lieseil hesitated before walking up to her, and then pulling her into his arms.
Dream was surprised, but then relaxed and hugged her father back.
"Your mother would be so proud of you....." he mumbled.
Dream looked up and smiled up at him as I then walked over to her.
She looked up at me and pursed her lips.
"Don't reprimand him.... I asked him to do it...." she said, referring to Remington as she looked up at me.
I smiled softly before placing my hand on her shoulder.
"Welcome to the coven..... Sister...." I said to her.
Her eyes widen at my words, but then she smiled as then Emerson, Larisa and Shy walked over, along with the Warhol's.
"Loving the new look, sis," Emerson teased, making her laugh as they hugged.
Larisa and Shy then pulled her into a hug, Dream hugging them back, as then the Warhol's approached her.
"You will make a powerful queen," Alister smiled.
Dream smiled at them before Emersin clapped his hands.
"Alright, people, let's get this show on the road. This bride has to be ready to walk the aisle really soon!" He announced as we all laughed. "While we can't scold the groom for turning the bride, we can scold him for peeking."
Remington scoffed with an eyeroll as Emerson and I pulled him towards us while the girls whisked Dream away to get ready.

{•Remington•}
I stood at the alter of the chapel, the archbishop standing next to me, while my brothers stood near me as well.
Everyone was seated in the pews, as Damiano begun playing a loving melody.
There at the end stood Larisa and Shy as they walked alongside each other in their bridemaids dresses,
They walked up gracefully as everyone watched them enter, soon standing on the other side of us.
Then the music paused to switch to a wedding march, and everyone stood up and looked back as the doors opened again, revealing Dream and her father, who was walking her down the aisle.
{Picture: Example of Dream's Wedding/Coronation Dress}
I couldn't help but smile at her.
She looked like a beautiful heavenly angel.
She smiled bashfully at me as she walked, holding onto her father's arm as they walked.
They soon reached the end of the alter as the music came to an end.
"Whopresent this woman to be married to this man?" the archbishop asked.
Lieseil smiled at his daughter. "I do..." he said.
He then took Dream's hand, kissing the back of it before gently leading her towards me as I then took it in mine.
He gave me a smile and a pat on the shoulder before reluctantly letting go, but doing so anyway.
Dream gave him a sure smile before looking up at me.
"We gather here today in presence of loved ones, watched over by the Void herself, as we witness the matrimonial unity of these two individuals," the archbishop announced as Remington and I faced each other. "If there is a soul who believes these two should not wed today, speak now or forever hold your peace....."
There was a brief silence as then he continued.
However, I tuned most of everything out as I looked at Remington, taking him all in.
His blonde hair. His soft pink lips. His smooth skin. His deep brown eyes. His chiseled features.
The gods themselves envied him, I just know it....
Its almost hard to imagine how its been more than a year already, almost two, since he saved me from a bad fall in my job, and how that exact moment entirely changed my life forever.
If it weren't for that event, I never would have known the truth about myself.
I never would have know what my parents sacrificed for me, let alone avenge them.
I never would have escaped the abusive life I had before.
This world would have never been saved.
The evil that tore my family apart wouldn't have been defeated.
I wouldn't be where I am now.
"May we have the rings?" the archbishop asked.
Sebastian then stepped up and handed Remington the rings, as then me and him took each one.
"Dream Rosalind of Lieseil.... Do you take Aldous Blackwell, to be your lawfully wedded husband.... To love and to cherish, for rich or for poor, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?" the arch bishop asked.
"I do," I said as I slipped Remington's wedding ring onto his finger.
"Aldous Blackwell.... Do you take Dream Rosalind of Lieseil, to be your lawfully wedded wife.... To love and to cherish, for rich or for poor, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?" the arch bishop asked.
"I do," Remington said happily as he slipped the ring onto my finger as well.
"Then by the power vested in my by the Obsidian Empire and the Void itself, I now pronounce you husband and wife," the archbishop said with a smile. "You may now kiss."
Remington and I smiled happily before pulling each other into our arms, kissing passionately as everyone applauded and cheered.
We remaimed like this for a while before Shy and Emerson then approached us, holding the royal scepter and orb for us.
I took the orb while Remington took the scepter, our hands on the orb.
"May Queen Larisa and King Frederick now step up...." the archbishop announced.
Larisa and Sebastian then stepped up as Alister and Hermes stepped forward.
"I, Frederick Blackwell, now officially renounce my titles as King of the Obsidian Empire, and pass it to Aldous Blackwell, my brother," Sebastian announced.
"I, Larisa Blackwell, now officially renounce my title as Queen of the Obsidian Empire, and pass it to Dream Rosalind of Lieseil, heir by Founder's blood," she said.
With that, they both bow their heads.
"Frederick and Larisa Blackwell.... The people of the Obsidian Empire are forever grateful to you and all you have done in your leadership," Lieseil announced as Alister and Hermes carefully removed their crowns. "We thank you both for your service and protection as king and queen as we pass the crown and title down to your successors, Aldous and Dream. May the Void always protect you both."
Larisa and Sebastian smiled as then Alister spoke, holding my crown.
"Do you, Princess Dream Rosalind of Lieseil, swear to protect and lead the people of Obsidian as queen? Do you promise, with your life, to care and to protect Obsidian and her people, and rule with mercy and fairness, as well as bravery and strength, until the very last day of your life, so help you God?" he said to me.
I smiled and nodded.
"I, Princess Dream Rosalind of Lieseil, vow uphold to uphold my duties as Queen to the people of the Obsidian Empire and her allies, to lead with compassion and with determination, alongisde my king, so long as I live," I said aloud.
My father watched proudly as I recited my royal vows while Hermes began with Aldous.
"Do you, Prince Aldous Blackwell, swear to protect and lead the people of Obsidian as king? Do you promise, with your life, to care and to protect Obsidian and her people, and rule with mercy and fairness, as well as bravery and strength, until the very last day of your life, so help you God?" Hermes repeated to him.
Remington nodded his head.
"I solemly swear to fulfill my duties as King of the Obsidian Empire and her people, and to govern, lead and care for it with my entire being, alongside my queen and wife. I vow to protect this land for a bright and safe future, like my mother and father did themselves in their rule, so long as I live....."
"Bow your heads....." Alister said.
Remington and I both stepped up and bowed to them, as they then gently placed the crowns on our heads.
Remington and I then stood up and faced the others as they watched.
"We present to you.... your new Queen," the archbishop announced. "First in her royal line.... Queen Dream Rosalind of Lieseil...... Alongside your king, the third of his royal line, King Aldous Blackwell. Long may they live and reign."
Everyone stood up and cheered for us, applauding happily.
I smiled as Remington and I held hands.
That's when soldiers from the Warhol Stars and Blackwell Royal Guard stood at the end of the aisle, and upon Captain Sixx's order, raised their swords up to form an arch for us.
Aldous held his arm out to me,
That's when everyone began singing a song I remembered being told was the anthem of the Obsidian Empire.
Aldous and I marched up front as everyone sang, white rose petals also falling over us.
We then reached the end as they stopped singing as we stood there, then looked back at everyone.
"LONG LIVE THE VOID!!!" Emerson shouted.
"LONG LIVE THE VOID!!" The guests shouted.
"LONG LIVE ALDOUS AND DREAM!!!" Sebastian added.
"LONG LIVE ALDOUS AND DREAM!!!" the chanted back. "LONG LIVE ALDOUS AND DREAM!!! LONG LIVE ALDOUS AND DREAM!!!"
Remington and I laughed bashfully as we looked at everyone, then at each other before sharing a final kiss.
This is the beginning of a new era....

This one is definitely one for the history books, and I am excited to see what our boys come up with next. 🖤🖤🖤
Also, on a side note, forever sending love and prayers to Momma Royale and her family as she faces a very difficult battle with cancer... 💔
Wishing her lots of strength and a safe recovery, and that she can soon be home with her boys..🙏🏻🌹
Anyway, I do apologize for not updating in so long. A lot has happened since my last update.
Been really busy with work and also a friend's wedding since I am Maid of Honor, and also had to deal with a lot of other stuff in my life that's been overwhelming. I won't go into heavy detail, but to sum it up, from being out of the country to a not too great birthday, then to a lot of stuff at work and more, it's all put me in a pretty dark place and trying to get out of it.
Thankfully I am feeling a bit better now, and as a bonus, I finally also have a laptop again, (its a long story involving TSA, which fuck them by the way 💀)!! So I should be updating a bit more now. Fingers crossed!🤞🏻🌻
